Try removing the battery wait for 2 min insert the battery again and try going to download mode

Stuck at Samsung logo :-o that means you are trying to get in to recovery not download mode remove battery and wait for 5min and press APPROPRIATE keys required to get into download mode
USING XDA APP ON SONY XPERIA U st25i
try to restore ure backup if u have done one in the past
Try to remove sd and simcard
Then try to enter download mode again

1. Plug the Charger for 5 minutes
2. After that, go to download mode (Volume Down + Home Button + Power Button, Make sure you do it Right.)

I am not sure if it works..
But remove battery, sim and sd card and then connect ur phone to ur pc and start odin.and then put battery in the cell and then go to download mode when connected to pc.
If it didnt help visit service centre.

I had the exact same problem while flashing jellyblast v3 no recovery, download mode and stuck at boot logo. Here is the fix!!!
1. remove sd card and sim from your device
2. Switch on the device and Charge your device for 3-5 hours.
3. Now remove the charger and battery (It must be hot till now) wait for 5-10 seconds and re insert it again.
4. Now press (volume down + Power + Home buttons togather) now you should be in download mode.
5. Flash the stock rom via odin!!!!
I have tried this method I hope it will work :fingers-crossed::good::highfive:

i have problem with SGS i9000 i go to in recovery mode cwm i upgarde it without wipe it
with this rom (I9000_Alpha_HTC_Sense_v0.5)

Go to download mode (volume down+home+power) and flash any stock rom with repartition checked. your phone should be okey
Remove battery and try again.
Can you get into download mode ??
If so flash a stock rom with pit 512 and repartitioning checked via Odin .
The rom you installed is Alpha that means not ready for Beta full of bugs use only if you know what you are doing .
ROM does not work is what the post says where it says must read .

If you have any other ROM zip on your SD card then just flash speedmod kernel with odin to get CWM recovery back (see my signature for link)
If you don't have any other rom zip to update with CWM recovery then you will need to flash a stock rom with odin.

I managed to brick my SGS within 24 hours of getting it:
My computer wouldn't (and still doesn't) recognise my phone (sometimes for a few minutes at a time) when I plugged it in.
I thought it would be a great idea to try flashing from to Froyo from Eclair anyway, and while it was going on, my pc disconnected the phone and bricked it COMPLETELY... I pulled the bat, tried all the 3 button combos (they worked before I flashed, I tested to make sure), and nothing worked...
I spent hours looking through the forums and the only advice I saw was to try a jig, before reading that for a 100% bricked phone it would not work...
What to do
- Take of the back case of your SGS, inbetween the camera and the speaker, you will see a little circular hole...
- Take a pin/pen and poke it...
- Hold the hole pressed in and press the 3 button combo for download/recovery mode
It should go into download mode and from there you can flash on a fresh firmware!
I saw NO mention of this hard reset's existence anywhere on the website at all, it worked perfectly for me!

unless you mess with your bootloader (in this case you didn't) you must be able to go into download mode and flash a fresh odin rom with pit 512 and repartition enabled
I TRIED EVERYTHING the phone will NOT get into download mode... i forgot my got damn password to my gmail and now i cant even activate the phone.. i found out i can use odin3 but the thing is no matter what i do it will NOT go into download mode

Do this + try tapping the menu key and or the home key while holding down the other buttons.......... there is a timing trick to this but one of these will work . Also in Q & A S14274N Noob bible has all the other ways check it out.
as a last resort u can always get a usb jig to get u into download mode!

If thats red recovery, voodoo, then go down to voodoo and in there should be reboot to download mode.
If its not there or you dont see red then search in recovery as some have dl mode. Also if you have adb set up on your computer and you can get to recovery then in command line type adb reboot download.

Try this:
Take the battery out and put it back. Then you should hold both volume keys while plugging the usb cable to the phone. Don't release the keys until download mode appears.
maybe ur hardware locked? s thats why u cant get into dl mode!

What ROM are you running?
If you are completely stock, then use Kies to update to the latest official stock ROM, this will fix your 3 button issue via a SBL fix.
I love the SBL fix.
hello i am from chile, so my english it's not the best
I accidentally installed a firmware to L7 on my L5 (e612) this are the problems:
- the screen goes white (its always "in" white)
the phone reset ramdomly so i cant use the kdz or the LG support tool (when the programs are looking for the phone it resets)
and also i cant get in to download mode.

And for the download mode you tried with more ports from your pc? I ask because i had this problem on my device, i couldn`t ente rin download mode because of my port from pc.
If you can go in download mode just install another kdz and all will be fine, but install a good one.

i tried that, and every 1 minute mi cellphone reset by it self, so i the program don't have the necesary time to recognize the phone and fix it.
i cant get in to dowload mode. hard reset doesn't work.

I had the same problem,Solved it with removin the battery,then put back on.Next i pluged the USB n then ive pressed vol down n power button n i was in download mode.But it took me to another problem.I had instaled custom JB n when the download finished it stayed on that custom ROM.The problem is that my phone is not rooted now and i cant get into CWM.Rooting tools doesnt work so idk what to do next.

Did you try emergency mode? (volume up + volume down + power button)
If not, turn off your phone and unplug it. Then enter emergency mode as described. Then wait 1-2 minutes to see if your phone is restarting. If not, continue flashing with Software update [KDZ] 1.0.4.4 (KDZ-Flasher).

go in cwm, flash again cm, and btw, if is cm10.1 or .2, you need to flash v20baseband
