Compared to the i9100 I had it seems better but I'm not a camera junkie so take this with a pinch of salt.

All day... I sold my gs3 for this phone and I don't notice much of a difference..

Yes. I have the s2 and the nexus4 and its much better camera and video. Also the audio from headphones is better than the gs2.

When it is available and if the rumors are true it will be a serious competitor for the Note 2. It's thinner with a higher resolution screen. Similar processing capabilities and a 12mp camera. Nothing definite yet.
It'll be a serious competitor for any phone....if it ever sees the light of day. I don't see it happening any time soon.

Nexus 4 and galaxy note 2

Guys the reason for thread is to sample peoples opinion on this two phones to find out which one is better since am torn in between decision of which one is better and more powerful.

Please add Samsung Galaxy S III to the title too, cause I'm interested in the devices too. Thanks

Note II looks like a better choice hardware wise if only the size is not a problem for you (for me it's too bulky). In Nexus 4 battery life and camera are not very impressive. It also lacks sd card slot. If you're fine with it then take N4 for best rom support. Agree Galaxy 3 should be also considered with its vulnerability being the only drawback in my opinion.

I can't choose lol!

Hey guys waiting for your opinion

Note II....:good:
there are so many "it depends" which only you know for yourself.... so every our advice will base on our own opinion... like "Note II is too big" or "S III has not big screen enough"... so put your pro's and con's in two rows, add available $$$ in your pocket and here you go )))
Buy Note 2!
I looked at it deeper, and i found out Note 2 is better than Nexus4 and SGSIII.
Bigger screen (1080p) and better speakers.

Its not almost 1080p and how does a bigger screen make the resolution higher ? :S

Thanks guys, just needed to know from experiences of people who have got their hands on this phones.

I would have picked Note II because it has a better camera, better sound,s pen. Does not appear in the throttling which occurs in the nexus 4
720p not 1080p

my friend, they all have HD720p not full HD 1080p.
If you support closed binary drivers which result in vendor dependency go buy any Samsung, if you want the latest Roms/android versions, the right to choose and maybe getting into Rom development then a nexus is your device.
I've got the n4 and I'm very happy with it but I like to build roms, cherry pick features and play around with the phone.
It's your decision

usage
note II!! definitely!! but depend on what you want to use. i like note II for it features, mainly for works(bigger screen for reading), s-pen to take note, etc etc.. but for game.. i dont know.
I am running ParanoidAndroid 2.99 with Pie features on my Note2 and it is a terrific phone. The nexus 4 is a league lower, bad camera and battery life. Two things I care about most in my phone except for it's "smartness"
note 2 is better

N4 camera vs sgs2

Is it alot better?
Sgs2 have an 8mp rear cam but doesn't take great pictures...

Had my N4 a while now and I find in lower lighting the S2 is certainly better - in very good light the N4 is great.
From personal experience the sgs2 camera is better
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
Thanks for the info guys...... Cnt believe the camera is that bad on the n4 lol
Sent from my SGH-I777 using xda app-developers app
I have no complaints though I don't take an obsessive amount of pictures though I do read that a lot about the Nexus 4 camera. I can only imagine this is because the Nexus line is more aimed towards the developer type crowd and all of these others are more for the mainstream.
I'll take the N4s hardware specs/overall setup over a nicer camera any day.
Are you kids serious??? The sgs2 camera....
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium
Agree that the sgs2 camera is better. Sad to say, I know... very disappointing.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
Man this sucks.... I alreeady think sgs2 camera is bad....

Should i leave verizon for the nexus4?

I love my galaxy nexus. So much in fact i bought an s3 and after a couple of months went back to my nexus.
Is it worth the upgrade/leaving verizon?

Maybe. Probably. I dunno.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium
In my opinion, yes! The Nexus 4 has much better top of the line specs. The specs of the Galaxy Nexus are starting to get outdated. The best part of the N4 is the price.

I would look into the coverage on other carriers first. I love the Nexus 4 but T-Mobile is just awful in my area.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium
I would. You would save a lot of money plus the nexus 4 is an awesome phone.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
I've been happy since I made the switch. The nice thing is that with the specs of the nexus 4 it will still be relevant a year from now IMHO. It's not like buying a phone only to have something come out a week later that's better.
Plus I get great coverage on T-mo... better than Sprint and Verizon. Of course that depends on your area. And if you're in an area that has a cell carrier that uses LTE band 4 you can always open that up on the phone. However, the HSPA+ has produced great speeds in my area, greater than 10mb down on average.
Highly recommended phone, so much that I ordered one for my wife a few days ago.
