Yup, about the top left... Just prolonged use in general it warms up..

It's the most powerful chipset at this time, clocked at 1.7 Ghz - not really suprising that it gets hot.

It's it uncomfortable or just noticable?

I haven't noticed it while gaming. I only noticed if I actually grip the tablet at the top by the camera.

Well just got done playing NFS for about 2 hours and its pretty damn hot...can almost pin point it just to the right of the vol up rocker...its not noticeable while holding it BC its so high up...wonder if the purposely put it away somewhere people would put their hands ..... I also noticed the hotter it got the more the game lagged, could be quincedence but it does make sense...

This is where it gets hot: http://www.powerbookmedic.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/nexus10-takeapart-007.jpg
Note the two heatspreaders at the top.

Yup! Its the CPU for sure! That's exactly where the heat is coming from on mine

Mine gets hot enough to make the whole back a little warm after a while. Unfortunately, as one might expect, it does get a little "crashy" when it's hot. Anyone else getting that too? I've been playing games from the Humble Bundle such as Machinarium and Eufloria, and they are prone to force close once the heat builds up. Say 45 mins. No fc dialogue box though; just crashes to home screen.
I'm impressed with 2 hours of Need for Speed... not just the tablet's endurance but your thumbs. =)

Yeah mine gets warm as anything does when being pushed for long periods of time. Nothing uncomfortable though - warms my hands nicely when its getting colder!

I don't know why people are surprised by heat coming from a high-performance CPU/GPU.
Just because it's a mobile processor, that doesn't mean the laws of physics are going to be suspended.

Does this kind of stuff happen on the iPad or Android tablets like the Infinity too?

A few people confirmed that the iPad was actually hotter in some cases... not sure about the Infinity.

It's a fair point; for the record I'm not surprised about a little heat.
I'm surprised that my Transformer Prime is outperforming it in these games with no heat and no crashes.

I have the infinity too, and it gets kinda hot, but not like the N10. Maybe I dont notice it though too much because it seems like a general hotness throughout the whole back. It's not just pinpointed to the top like the N10. Ah well

Doubtful considering that my Nexus 7 was a turd in gaming compared to Galaxy Note 10.1 Exynos 4412 and Nexus 10 Exynos 5250 is even faster. If anything all I see are a lot of comments for popular games on Google Play regarding Asus Transformer series (TF201, TF300, TF700) not working or has performance issues when it's fine on other non-Asus Transformer series tablets.

Mine gets warm like everyone else's but I'll take that over the laggyness from my TF700.

My nexus 10 got really hot while video chatting through google talk yesterday.

Mine get hot but not to a point that its uncomfortable when I put my hand on it. I am glad its on the top rear though as I dont touch that side ever when I'm using the tablet. My prime and tf700 doesnt have a faster gpu and plus the aluminum back does a great job dissipating heat compared to the n10 which is mostly plastic back. I love gaming on this device.

Hot when playing!!

Is it just me or when you play the phone gets ridiculously hot??
Try playing avatar...download it from the game center...after 5 minutes of playing, apart the battery going flat in seconds, the display becomes so hot it almost burns!! The battery temp was 42°!!!
Anyone noticed the same?

Anybody has notice it?

Think 42c is ok, it does get quite hot but the phone will have its own threshold to don't worry bout it. Top left is where cpu/gpu is.
yes the phone do heat up when i try to torture the CPU, especially near the rear camera, but I still find the temperature level acceptable
Watching videos long period of time over wifi makes the screen almost untouchable.! Ditto the hottnes to from the rear of phone by camera.!
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA Premium App
for me display is not main concern, the area around the camera is getting too hot to touch lol. And it wasn't even a 3d game! It was the game cyberlords....
Although i can say not all games have this. I also played Baseball superstars 2011 for over an hour with no problems with heating.... very weird!
I have had the same issue, But only while it was in a case and charging...
Getting it out of the case helped enough, didn't become untouchable at any point
Sgt dutchy Try a Samsung official vented case there 7.95 on ebay
Mine also gets very hot around the camera and sim card area. I usually take my gel case and battery cover off and stick it in front of the a/c for a few mins. That brings its temperature down
Cpu's get awfully hot when running games..........

Ok then I guess it's normal...just wondering if the camera would get any damage being so near the cpu...

Got my SGS2 2 days ago... and played Avatar a lot. What exactly do you guys expect from a dual core 1.2ghz CPU squeezed in a 8.9mm case??? You either have NO IDEA about technic or your hobby is to complain.
Ok, it gets warm... but it's far away from being hot or even "untouchable".
Why don't you try to use SetCPU and set down CPU volt ? I think it may make the phone work cooler. :d
Before you guys are quick to jump, I thought this was some fluke as well, but I experienced this for the first time last night. Only had my browser running, was viewing a fairly graphics intensive site, and boom, I could barely hold my phone anymore.
Now, keep in mind, I've had the device since 5/4, and have done just about everything on the phone, including lots of gaming and web browsing. Not sure why it went hot potato this one time... could be the rogue process theory... but it got so hot that I could no longer hold the device. Just keep a lookout for this, especially if you have a cover on the device.

And judging from your signature you run the latest firmware (WKE2)?
I think downplaying the heating issues is not a good idea. The atrix doesn't heat up much while on 3G or playing 3d games. It seems while being great looking, the thinness of this phone is the Achilles heel. Maybe some people are okay with it being hot but samsung should not be allowed to get away with it while we are at it.
I also think there's some process making phones very hot as well. I noticed 2 months after jailbreaking my iPhone 4 that it got extremely hot to touch after using wifi for a couple min. Also some 3d games started to make it hot while they never did before. After a week of that I simply restored it to stock and the heating was gone..
I know it's a different phone and os but my point is the issue can be fixable probably. I would like this to be solved or else the sensation is looking better slowly.
this is disappointing, so we got a crappy camera and now the screen heating up to a point its unconfortable to touch it? :\ im having second thoughts now

Camera works great, no idea where you're getting crappy camera from. Plus, the negativity is completely unwarranted. This is still by far the BEST phone I've ever used and has exceeded all expectations... and mind you, my expectations were high.
But, that doesn't mean there aren't going to be bugs. With a dual core running at 1.2GHz + 1 GB of RAM, what you have is basically a complete computer system in your pocket. I remember back in the days, there were programs even on my PC that would cause the system fan to kick in and make the CPU go bonkers... it happens. I seriously believe this is a software bug... either with the rogue process issuing a device call that is causing that particular chip to overheat... or it's just a flaw with the current driver controlling the hardware. All things that I firmly believe will be fixed over time.
Good news is, I've been using this phone nonstop since I got it almost 2 weeks ago, and it's only happened once. I'm personally not too worried.

iPad3 Overheating. Stick with the 7.7

iPad3 owners are saying it suffers from overheating and get's too hot to hold which is a deal breaker for a handheld device. No overheating problems with the 7.7.

No issues with my ipad3 even when it restored everything over the icloud.
Yes it will get warm under heavy load, but then I'd be worried if it didn't as it shows the heat sink is working.
The sgs2, and tab7.7 plus everything will get warm under load, its normal

The problem people are having is not that its a little warm, but that it's so hot that it's uncomfortable to have in their hand. Surely you don't think this is acceptable?
It's great that yours do not have this issue but aparently a lot of other people experience it
My 7.7 get a litte warm if I'm charging and dowloading or using the gps at the same time, but it's not much.
No issues with the wife's either. She's been using it the whole weekend, including 4G.
I doubt the news source to be honest. No such reports of it being too hot on arguably the biggest Mac forum ( Mac rumors)
Also, I don't see any evidence of the report saying a lot of people report it being to hot to touch, just 'mixed' reports.
Sensationalist news IMO based on nothing

If you Google for "iPad 3 Overheating" then you will find loads of overheating reports from many different sources.
I think that Ipad users are not accustomed to their devices running warm, I've been using a friends Ipad2 for a week and played a few movies at 720p in software mode just to put as much strain at the processor and it does get slightly warm, the Galaxy Tab7.7 on the other hand or mostly any other andriod device (aside from the other tabs ) do get warm alot so we andriod users find this normal, the long time ipad users find this new and probably bothersome.

The overheating reports are widespread (try Googling) so not just one bad device. If you listen to the video carefully then there are also reports of lag, probably due to the processor not capable of handling the screen resolution.
A lot of people are also reporting that theirs run perfectly fine, I guess its luck of the draw.

When your iPad3 is too hot to hold then it is not much comfort to know that some others are OK. Apple needs to improve it's quality control for this situation is unacceptable.
Mine isn't running hot and I just was playing that new Air Supremacy HD game while streaming audio to a Bluetooth speaker. I suspect this may not be affecting all units.
However, the comparisons of the new iPad to the Galaxy 7.7 are kind of overwrought here. They are very much different devices due to the different size.
Whether or not you like the OLED screen versus the "Retina" display is really a matter of personal preference.
Not too surprised by the reports. We've heard the same thing about previous iPads. And when you sell 3 million new iPads in a week, there are bound to be more than a handful of bad products in the mix.
I got my iPad. Mine gets warm when I'm playing games or watching videos for a long period of time. Usually don't notice any heat at all when doing regular things like surfing the web or reading. Mine definitely doesn't get uncomfortably hot fortunately.
If someone is interested in an iPad, I probably wouldn't let this discourage you. It's a pretty nice tablet. And I think the chances are probably small you'll have an issue with it getting too hot. If it does, return it and get your money back.
http://www.engadget.com/2012/03/19/new-ipad-10-degrees-hotter/
I have two iPad3's.. They do get about the 10 degrees warmer those reviews are stating.. it's not too hot to where you can't hold it, but it's definately annoying.. It really feels like you're holding a laptop in your hands because of the heat now.

Acer 510: To keep or not to keep? A "heated" question

Update on 5/16:
Not having the heat spikes like I was. Keeping the 510 due to superior battery life and file drivers that work great with all third party apps. Also, being able to power and use my 1tb NTSF drive while watching 1080p mkv movies and not worry about battery life is nice.
End
Kind of torn here, as far as what to do. IMO, the A510 for the price, performance and features beats the other current options (Excite 305 too) for a "total" tablet perspective, but the design (or lack of) for heat displacement is the catch. Since the update, the A510 seems to not get as hot (relative statement), but that could be me trying to justify keeping the A510 (I really like it).
1. If browsing or watching video, the right side gets warm, but not hot. That said, it gets warmer than the other current Tegra 3 devices. This is really ironic since the Prime and its metal should feel more hot. This suggests the A510 is getting a lot hotter inside.
2. If playing games that use the GPU a lot, the right side gets hot to the point of not being fun to hold.
3. If using wifi while playing a game- DANG, it gets even hotter.
I still have over 30 days to mess with the A510 (silver BB member), but I can not see how software will fix the issue, unless they throttle the device, so performance would be hit. Seems this could be a hardware issue and perhaps as significant a design goof as Asus with the Prime radios.
Added: Even more ironic since sold my Thive. I have an iPad 3 as well, but like having both and prefer Android between the two (game emulators, drag and drop (no iTunes) and Flash are main reasons).
Update: Here is an exmaple of why I am conflicted. I agree with this review, but think their opinion of the display is too low (it looks real good to me). Key point is the amazing battery life:
http://www.digitalversus.com/tablet/acer-iconia-tab-a510-p12812/test.html
I am in the keep category. I do notice warmth, but nothing more than my laptop or chromebook do. My prime didn't have that issue, but it came with its own suitcase of baggage.
I'm going to try to tax it later and use our thermometer to see how hot I can get it. Not a super scientific device but it should give me an idea. I for one would like to see ya stick around.
Sent from my A510 using xda premium
I unfortunately only had a week to return my A510 and I decided to do it. It is a great device, but the heat issue was very bothersome, especially because my little guy loves to play 3D games.
If you have 30 days to return this, just enjoy the A510 as long as you can and hopefully you will have more certainty on release dates and pricing for the A700 (I know, it could be hot as well) and Infinity Pad before the end of the period. There is also the the upcoming Galaxy Note 10.1 which is supposed to be quad core.
Before I bought A510 I was waiting for the Asus TF300T. I would have gone for the Asus TF201 if there wasn't an abundance of complaints about wifi reception and screen bleeding (considering the price of the device I think the risk was too high).
Watching reviews on youtube made me change my mind so instead of the Asus TF300T I went for the Acer A510 and I don't regret it.
My experience after 2 weeks of use:
Heat: The device gets warm sometimes, but that doesn't worry me much. Comes in spikes sometimes. When playing Dungeon Defender (which uses the Unreal Engine) it was most noticable.
Sound: Great thanks to Dolby. Good stereo separation.
Screen: I find the colder colors of the screen more appealing compared to the IPS screens in the Asus Transformer series. Viewing angles are nice. I only notice a bit of discoloring at extreme viewing angles where whites turn yellowish.
Stability: Had some issues that only appear after certain actions (I suspect warm boots or app updates or a combination of those) and they disappeared after cold boot (using the reset button). So I think it's software related.
Wifi: Getting 30 ~ 40 Mbit/s up and down and a ping as low as 6 ms to the speedtest server from a distance of 3 m from my router (unobstructed). Speed drops to 25 ~ 30 Mbit/s up and down with a ping as low as 14 ms (usually a bit higher) from 12 m with 2 walls in between. (note: this in an environment where the 2,4 GHz band is quite crowded)
Battery life: I think it's good. I got a 10% drop after watching 70 minutes of 720p content streaming over Wifi with the screen on 50% or 75% brightness (I don't remember it exactly) and this was only on the first or second charge.
My conclusion is that it's definately a keeper, especially when it comes to sound, wifi and battery life.
I agree the A510 leans to being a keeper, but need to understand the heat issue better.
The only thing I can think of when graphics processors get really hot is when rendering is not v-sync'ed or framerate locked.
I saw post about a combination of using wifi and 3D graphics that heats the device up. Maybe because AES encryption/decryption takes some processing power? (just a wild guess) You can it with an unprotected wifi connection and see if there's any difference.
There does appear to be two levels of heat:
Hot = 3D gpu function
Real hot = wifi and 3d gpu at same time.
In comparison, the 300 and Prime do not exhibit the heat issues (but both weaker options for me than A510). If any device should get hot, it would be the same Tegra 3 metal backed Prime. It feels (literally) like Acer made zero effort for heat dissipation in the A510 design.
If this lack of design is correct, the A700 will add two new levels of hot. Testing more, but seems it is what it is- a foe in the summer, but friend in the winter
Added: In spite of also being thin and metal like the Prime, the Toshiba Excite does not get hot either and this is pointed out in the video review at the end- the A510 is mentioned as toasty and the Excite as cool during tests. Catch is about three hours less battery life.
I'm keeping mine, even though I got my a510 to heat up to the point where I get a black and locks up twice. But that's after I was messing with alot of tegra 3 games. I used to have a Asus transformer for a month and I hated it, its problems outweigh the a510 heating issue.
Sent from my A510 using Tapatalk 2
My theory is Acer decided on using the space for more battery and less or no heat dissipation. Perhaps the battery module (the frame or case of it) is being used for dissipation (not the best of ideas).
That would explain why the A510 gets very hot and the other Tegra 3 devices barely get warm.
Strange that I can not replicate the heat spikes I was having. It can still get real warm, but not hot like it was a few times.
I wish I knew what people were doing with their a510.
I have never experienced any issues like that mentioned here
nor anywhere else.
Yeah I notice a warm spot, but I have 4 year old laptops that get hotter.
One time since I got it, it wouldn't wake up. I just held the power button, solved.
GPS, perfect. WIFI, perfect. SPEED, perfect. Feel is solid. Glass feels sexy.
My only real complaint, the proprietary micro port....

Note 2 vs. Note 1 in terms of temperature

Hi guys,
I currently own a Galaxy Note N7000, but am planning an upgrade. To the Note 2. Yay!
My Note gets really hot when playing games like Arcane Legends, especially if I plug in the charger (of course). Some times, it gets so hot that the top side of the screen burns my thumb!!! And that even when playing Arcane Legends alone, not charging at the same time!
I wanna know. Are there people who have owned the original Note and switched to the Note 2? If yes... those are the people I want to talk to. They know best how to compare the two.
Never had the N7000 but I can tell you that the N7100 never gets that hot. A little warm yes, hot no.

I wouldn't say it gets too hot, but if you play the right games it can get toasty. Not too shabby though. Any mobile device these days can get up there in temps. It is the nature of the beast. Getting smaller and more robust and trying to keep the temperature down is all part of the challenge. I wonder how well the a15/mod'ed a9's will run in the next year or two. Eager to see how well Samsung's exynos CPU pairs together with imagination technologies GPU. Exciting times for the android gamers as they might see more games and many of those ported from iOS or more time put into them. I really would like science to take advantage of our smartphone gpu's much like distributed networking on PC's.

I'm not gonna sit around and wait another year. I'll get the Note 2, as soon as I sell this Note. My alternatives are... the HTC One, which I doubt will shine development-wise, the Xperia Z which has poor speaker performance and cr*ppy screen and the S4, which will also suck development-wise.
Yeah, definetly not gonna sit around to wait for the A15-powered devices.
I hate my Note right now for the following :
- poor battery performance (despite its 2500 mAh battery)
- screen sucks so bad (plus, black clipping)
- overheating like hell
At least the first two are better on the Note 2 . Enough for me to upgrade.

I am sure that the HTC One will get great dev development seeing as how that codeworx is getting the device, as for S4, it should also get great development as it is going to be a very popular device and most of the S4's are going to be Qualcomm not Exynos.

Won't have enough money for neither the One nor the S4. So, it's gonna be the Note 2. It's a powerful enough little tiny beast, anyway

I had the Note 1 and now have the Note 2 and they are 2 different phones. The cpu on the Note 2 is much more powerfull and battery friendly than the one on the GN1. Temperatures are very good and haven`t experienced any heat issues. Switching over to the GN2 will only bring you advantages.

Thank you for your input.
Battery life and power is exactly why I was considering the Note 2. Otherwise I could go for the S3, which has the same ammount of RAM (not really good for long term) and pretty much the same battery life as my Note. Not really worth paying 150 extra bucks for that... Better pay 200 extra bucks for a Note 2 :silly:
The screen is also an important factor for which I am considering the Note 2 over the S3. Screw pentile. RGB for the win!
Also, I know the Note 2 comes with a 2 amp charger. That's awesome! I will be able to play AND charge at the same time :silly:
Just had my N7100 for a few days and running CM @ the moment,...
Internet connection great!
Speakers
Battery
Speed & smoothness
So far I'm feeling good... In fact, better!

How is that related to what is being discussed here?
Well, i had an n7100 which is on my mothers hands right now and i switched to the n7100.
The note 2 NEVER gets hot, like ever.. compared to the note1 which does get considerably hot when gaming.
Rest assured that you wont burn your thumb ever again with newer generation phones. Also, battery life on n7100 is brutal.

Sorry, missed the point where I wanted to tell everything it's way better with this device. No heating issues whenever ,.. Wherever , whatsoever ,... The only thing it's missing it's the progress on how Chas is keeping his night lies.

I did join the Note 2 club last week
I have to admit I was tempted to go for the cold metal beauty of the One, but delayed deliveries to Polish carriers took that option away. And wasn't that impressed by the Z. Not regret it much. That large screen is just beautifull. Who needs FullHD when it's already so sharp and amazing. Seems to be the perfect size too. Well, put it in a case and it gets too big for me. But having the extra screen estate over the lesser phones really is great!
Was initially put off by the horrible look of TouchWiz (have been using CM on my Galaxy S for a long time), but after customizing it a bit (inspired by coldfustion YouTube videos), I'm pretty happy with the results. I now mostly only see the ugliness of TouchWiz during calls and sometimes in the dialer (when it appears from a system call, rather then is brought up manually). Guess I'll proably eventually get rid of that too with a custom ROM, but I'm not in a hurry.
Coming from Galaxy S, I can really appreciate the GPS speed and accuracy. The volume of the loudspeaker is also very nice, even if clarity is nothing to write home about. Browsing and reading/writing e-mails is a real pleasure on this beast!
It does get a bit warm during gaming sessions, but it doesn't seem very hot and I hope its nothing that can cause an actual burn!
The smoothness is not that amazing too me though. I guess partially because I use MultiPicture Live Wallpaper and it always reloads the wallpaper during switching landscape/portrait mode. The default lockscreen was laggy as hell too (tried various fixes suggested here). But I turned that off and am now using the lockscreen from Go Launcher Ex, which is much faster (well, actually that and some icon packs are the only functionalities of that launcher I use... otherwise it's way too laggy, especially compared with Nova). But I'm sure the speed can easily be fixed with a custom ROM.
Just wish I could scale the keyboard down, cause it wastes too much screen estate (using Swype). And Multiwindow... the menus take way too much space... it should scale the content down as well, because as things are, very little actual content is displayed in each window.
^ A little off topic, but just wanted to say that all your wishes can be fulfilled with a rooted stock rom and simplistic and or xposed frameworks, including theming and dpi change, when you're ready for it

[Q] Few issues with G2- HELP!

Hey there guys,
I'm from the UK and have a 3 (Three) variant of the LG G2 16GB. While the phone is mostly really fast and speedy, I have really sensative eyes that can detect a bit of lag. Now while this may not really bother many people, it sometimes bothers me as the phone is a 2.3ghz phone. I mean c'mon. I don't get the feeling the CPU clocks itself higher when i'm actually using it to do something.
I.E. Watching HD video on youtube. It runs buttery smooth every 10s or so and then "pop" a little lag occurs (btw it's not buffering, the video is like fully loaded). I don't want that to happen, it just ruins the viewing experience. This also happens in some games (i am aware that games load n stuff during gameplay sometimes) but i've been playing Vector on the highest settings; I came onto this level where there are now 3 characters (2 A.I and me) on the screen. The fps drops and then smoothes out then drops again. This is very weird! Why?!
Please someone help me get this really annoying lag outta ma brand new phone! It would be MUCH APPRECIATED!! <3 (lol)
P.S ( I have read a thread by Stefan063 and he stated
If you are experiencing some of annoying LAG on your G2,here is how to get LAG away (works with my G2) :
1. Type 3845#*802#
2. Scrol down to High Temperature Property OFF,and select
3. Turn it ON...
4. Turn G2 fully off...
5. Wait at least 10sec...
6. Turn it back on and wait about 30sec. when Screen Lock shows...
LAG-FREE G2
I don't know if this'll work for my phone. I have the LG-D802 version
Moreover, I have noticed a couple of days back a very small (quite unnoticable at first) black line on my screen. It's not a scratch, and is behind the glass screen; I think that the pixels or whatever in the that part of the screen have COMPLETELY shutdown. Like, it's gone! Completely black, i'll try and get a screen shot of it. I think I should go back to Three and get a replacement.
Why does the phone also ridiculously overheat when playing games? I get 40 degrees C while gaming according to CPU Z. Can anyone confirm this?
Thank you
Ok, from the top, i think. The YouTube lag has been reported by a few people, but most say that it does not affect them, so I am not sure what the cause is. I play games regularly including Madden 25, Shadowgun Deadzone, and Riptide GP. Even at length, 1+hr straight, I do not get lag or heat build up.
I run my phone in a case. The Ballistic SG case, which I am sure is not good on ventilation. The highest temperature I have gotten gaming with that case on is 98.2F. The highest I have gotten with the case off, when I use my Moga Pro is 93F. I have definitely never had the phone get above 100F and I am fairly certain that the 100F mark is a major point of throttling. If your phone overheats abnormally, this could cause the lag you describe. By the way, I too use CPU-Z for temperature readings.
Also, I believe those instructions turn off thermal throttling, which may make the phone smoother, but since yours may be overheating already, is definitely not advised.
And in the case of your screen, I would definitely get a replacement as that is not normal.
Hope this helps somewhat!!
Hmm....this is very weird indeed. This must mean there's something wrong with my G2. I spoke to LG and they said that the phone should operate between 0c and 40c which is above 100F. And this lag bothers me because this phone is not cheap and is ment to be top of the line.
Might I ask what model and variant of the G2 you are using?
This has helped a lot. Thank you very much. I will go to my carrier ASAP.

Sad but true! EVERY android phone lags! EVERY ONE OF THEM! Who says otherwise is simply a liar or a blind!
I have not owned but android devices from HTC, Samsung, LG, Nexus etc.. and they all lag to a certain level! Of course Nexuses are the smoothest but still stutter sometimes! It's inherited in Android OS!
Life Engineer, you maybe right. But it's just very weird. I just ask why to these big ass companies, can't you refine your damn devices!
Anyone know if Stefan's trick will work for my phone? I am due to return it tomorrow to my network-carrier but if they don't give me a replacement or help me out, I will try out this trick.

Unfortunately you are right! It's so frustrating to see my friend's iPhone 4 or iPhone 4s smoother then my quad-core beast or my other friends' octacore's beast!
But despite all that I can never imagine myself with an iPhone! I dunno why!
Maybe when they make quadcores with 2GB RAM and real multitasking and 5"+ screens with some logical prices I might!
