[MODS][CM9]Optimus 4X LockScreen, Recent Apps, Softkeys & Battery on Status Bar, etc.
Ok, so here is the deal, I have been looking for stuff to mod the last Hehappy ROM (Lastkiss) and found all of these things working for our phone (They SHOULD work on Neko's IcySnap ROM as well), everyone of them has been tested by me on the LG Optimus One P500:
NOTE ABOUT THIS ONE (LG Optimus 4x Lock Screen) :
It does unlock the screen but you have to tap in the center of the screen and SLOWLY (as in very careful and slowly) drag your finger all the way to your upper right corner. (not really worth it)

[MOD] CM9 Increased System Volumes
I just flashed CM9 Alpha 11 by dhiru1602 and noticed that the Touch Sound, Lock Sound and Unlock Sound was too quiet and not noticeable. So I have increased their volume and is available for anyone to try!

Effect_Tick.ogg
Lock.ogg
Unlock.ogg
If you want to flash this MOD from CWM, download this zip file:

Default [MOD][CM9]Multitasking mod / app switcher for cm9 Pico mdpi
Thanks to evilisto, I was able to mod and compile a multitasking/app switcher mod for cm9 HTC Explorer/pico (mdpi) that looks a lot more pretty. (see attachment)
v1 Features:
Dark grey backgroud.
Horizontal navigation between apps.
Swipe up or down to kill app.
Large, beautiful looking thumbnail.
v1a Features:
Same as v1 but changed background to give windows mobile look (looks much prettier).
v2 Features (Sense 4 Multitasking - what's different):
Added code to generate gradient in background.
Added title Recent Apps.
Added thumbnail Reflection.
Added display of icons above the app title.
Added tilt/rotate to thumbnail.
Note: Some people have asked me how to enable landscape view. Landscape view will work only if you are already in an app which is in landscape mode when launching app switcher or if in landscape mode in your launcher (if enabled). This will work for v1, v1a and v2 and all future versions as well.

I also uploaded TWO uninstallers, one for hehappy's ROM and one for neko95 ROM, the uninstallers include the original "systemui.apk", "framework-res.apk", "framework.jar", "services.jar", "lock.ogg", "unlock.ogg" and "Effect_Tick.ogg" from each ROM and it will revert every mod you have flashed involving the above files. (Use in case of bootloop or in case you want to use a different mod)
How to install the mods? Download file, boot into recovery, flash the file, wipe dalvik-cache and reboot.
How can I find time to search, test and make dumb threads like this one? I'm unemployed! ._. !!
Have fun.

Goodies! Too bad I am on AOKP so the lockscreen I have been waiting for is not supported on this ROM.

don´t work on oxygen ics rom

Nope, IIRC Oxygen ROM isn't compiled from the same sources as Hehappy's.
These mods should work on:
Hehappy's Lastkiss CM9
Neko's IcySnap CM9
JedduRocks WhiteHawk CM9 (It's hehappy's ROM with some scripts inside)
Xperia ICS V2 CM9 (It's a themed hehappy's ROM)

Well, you could always try and let us know, the original files for IcySnap latest update are on the IcySnap uninstaller if you face any problem.
Note: I didn't faced any theme related problems while I tested all the mods, no problem at all to be honest.

Btw, I was messing with the lock screen and IT DOES UNLOCK THE SCREEN you just have to slowly drag it to your upper right corner.

- Retrokidd for his lock screen and recent apps fix.
- Cyanogenmod for their source code.
- TwistedUmbrella for his work on script fusion and the included AutoBot app that gets it working.
- Thanks to nowetdio, mademan420, and Ryanmo5 for testing this. Without them, this would not have been possible
As a note, I do not have a thunderbolt, so any problems that require attention need to be very clear and accompanied with a screenshot or detailed explanation so I can fix them.
Changelog
v3.0
- Rebuilt from the ground up
- Removed the AutoBot
- Updated theme to ICS, GB and Froyo will be coming soon though
- Stock kernel included unless someone has any suggestions.
v2.0
- For those of you who got used to Luncher Pro, I'm sorry, the main launcher used in this release is ADW...it has nice features and seems to play very nicely with this rom.
- I actually compiled most if not all of the AOSP apps either from the CM source code or straight from Google Source Code.
- Added the AOSP Calendar, Calculator, Camera, and possibly others
- Latest market
- Changed the theme to be the pure GB theme and will post the Vanilla Theme here for those who want it
- Added Quick Search and File Manager from CM7...compiled by me from their code.
- Auto Bot (courtesy of TwistedUmbrella)
* Only known issue is that with the AOSP Camera, the FFC will be sideways. Not sure how this affects things such as Skype...but the Sense Camera can be downloaded and flashed...
Sense Camera

I'll flash when I get home from work . . . unless there's a way to reboot to the bootloader without adb? Probably not a good idea regardless.
Does this have the camera glitches from the initial alpha GB leak? Not sure if these have been completely resolved or not.

Which kernel is this? It's a lot older than 2.5.4 test 4 I miss my speedtweak settings.
You think it will break anything?
This is excellent !

Flash it up...you will be good to go...also as an update, got AOSP contacts and dialer to function with one small trick....you cant remove the HTCDialer.apk without a bunch of problems...so thankfully LP allows you to set the default phone to AOSP and hide the other from the app drawer. I will post an update zip for those interested.

[GUIDE]How to setup 240 dpi on your rom

Hey everyone
This is my first guide so please be polite
In this guide I will show you how to setup 240dpi or possibly an dpi on your rom.
Links to all the requisites will be given below.
But what is dpi ?
It is the value that manages most ui of the system. a lower dpi means everything would be smaller hence more things could be fitted in the giant screen we have. a higher means everything would be larger hence less could be fitted into the screen
Before We Begin I Want To Clarify The Following-
1)First and foremost I am not responsible for any damage you cause.
2)I assume you have already rooted your phone and have some experience with rooting.
3)You have made backup to be sure that in case you mess up you you can return to what it was like before.
4)Read the whole post before actually starting.
5)Please Hit Thanks Button If I Helped You
So let's Begin-
1)Download and setup xposed framework (Very good instructions on how to do it in the thread) (You need to reboot).
2)Download these modules - xposed app settings , gappscrashfix , all apps in play store.
3)Enable all the 3 modules (You need to Reboot).
4)Now open xposed app settings and set open each app listed below and in dpi enter 320 but don't change anything else.
-calculator
-camera
-clock
-contacts
-dialer storage
-fm radio
-messaging
-task manager
-touchwiz home
-weather widget main
Now some of these could be skipped or some could be added(can be tested but imao that will make the ui ugly but still it's completely your choice).
Also modded versions of some of these apps has been provided by bala_gamer.
5)Before we begin copy the modded samsung keyboard from the link given or setup some other keyboard and make it default.
6)Now open /system/build.prop or use a build.prop editor if you are very conscious and change the following line "ro.sf.lcd_density=320" to "ro.sf.lcd_density=240"
7)Now before we reboot we need to include apply one fix , so instead of rebooting , power off your phone
8)Then go into recovery and flash the modded samsung keyboard.
9)Reboot and enjoy 240dpi.
Note -
1)The stock keyboard will constantly force close on 240 dpi (if you use xposed settings to set it to 320dpi, you will be practically unable to use it), so bala_gamer(thank him) has customized it to work properly on 240 dpi.
2)Recovery must be custom (ofcourse ).
3)Be sure to flash the correct version of modded apps (i.e. 4.1.1 if you have it or 4.1.2 if you have that)
4)I don't know if gappscrashfix and allappsinplaystore are actually required but nothing bad in using it.
5)I know the explanation of dpi is incorrect but that's all you need to know.
6)Installing xposed framework doesn't affect simplistic framework at all.
7)The gappscrashfix and allappsinplaystore you download would be in .zip format. Just rename them to .apk and you can install it then.
8)Many apps especially the system ones or samsung ones aren't ment to scale well. They are just meant to look good at 320dpi so they will look way ugly at 240dpi. To fix this xposed settings is used. You need to set it for each app that you think is ugly.
9)You can use mobile odin to flash the zip. Just use ota tab.
Finally the links-
1)xposed framework - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401 (Link to modules page in his thread).
2)modded apps - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2001577
And not to forget credits
-rovo89 for framework
-bala_gamer for modded apps
-numerous other people who helped me in some way or the other (please pm me if I forgot anyone).
Great Job & Guide my friend.
Thanks

Yeah correct if you just wanna use SwiftKey then you don't need to flash it.
Mind it that you will get continuous fc pop ups of Samsung keyboard if you remove SwiftKey.

Wrong thread but I am gonna help you.
You can change the dpi of other apps normally in pa settings.
These modded apps will probably not work with jellybam but you can try if you want to.

For those wondering what to so with the gappscrashfix.zip and allappsplaystore.zip from the villainrom site, just rename the file to apk and install. The message to enable it in the xposed will come, enable it and then reboot. Think the op should give a mention in the 1st post.

This is all great but it would be even better if there was a mod for 4.1.2 roms to place the status bar at the bottom with the soft navigation keys like in a tablet ui. I found one but it seems to only work for 4.1.1.

Yeah once I see a new changes or tweaks in Skia and Bionic I'll definitely update it, but the ROM is currently fast and stable so try it out.
So I really like this ROM thanks for it..
Only issue I been having is that google wallet doesn't work. I have no option to tap and pay, I finally was able to restore an old version of google wallet and its giving me this error: Google wallet is not yet available for your device or mobile network..
I am thinking maybe its a build.prop issue?

Ok so I think I fixed it.. I just had to change a few values in the build.prop.. heres what I changed.
ro.product.model = Nexus 4 (changed from Mako)
ro.product.brand = google (changed from Android)
ro.product.name = occam (changed from full_mako)
Seemed to have fixed it
I can't seem to find out which module made the report button say "reboot" instead of "report"... very weird thing, but it's not that big of a deal.
Sent from my Mako
Another question, its not a huge deal and it might just be a module I have enabled..
But sometimes I get stuck in a weird loop.. like I am in a app hit the recent app menu, go into another app and then if I hit back key it goes back to the recent menu, then if I hit back again goes back to the app, hit back again it goes back to recent apps. etc etc
I don't think stock ever did that.. Its not a huge deal just odd?
*edit* I can't duplicate it but it happens..

Np! Thank you again for a great rom.. Really loving it..
Question, if its too much trouble don't worry about replying.. But I been wanting to someday build my own ROMs from source, now I googled and found some easy enough guides about making a build enviroment and building from source etc.. But what I was curious about is building with different toolsets (like saber) and also what is involved in cherry picking from other roms.
Any good noob guides that you have used / know of that could help me learn?
Again thank you so much for a great rom
I'll guide you when you're available. Just PM me.

PACman FAQ
PIE FAQ
Q. What is PIE?
A.. PIE is a new way to interact with your notifications. It provides easy gesture based interaction with all your system information without taking up valuable screen space. Click here for more info.
Q. How do I access Pie?
A. Swipe your finger from the pie gravity edge (default is the bottom) toward the center of your screen. While keeping your finger on the screen, drag your finger to the desired button and release to click.
Q. My PIE doesn't look like the ones in the screenshots. I don't see the Clock or notifications.
A. Notifications work either through the status bar or PIE. If the status bar is enabled, PIE reverts to just the softkeys. To enable the full PIE experience, enable Expanded Desktop by going to Settings -> System -> Power Menu -> Expanded Desktop (Status bar hidden). Access the power menu and turn Expanded Desktop on.
Q. How do I change PIE colors?
A. Go to Settings -> Hybrid Properties -> Interface and change the Navigation bar color.
Q. Buttons or keyboard rows near the edge of my screen are nonresponsive.
A. PIE's trigger area overlay is covering the edge of your screen. Change either the Trigger Area or Pie Gravity in Settings -> System -> PIE Settings.
Q. I don't like PIE, how do I turn it off?
A. To disable PIE set Trigger Area to None in Settings -> System -> Pie Settings. Remember to disable Expanded Desktop to turn status bar on again.
ROM FAQ
Q. Do I need to do a full wipe before installing this ROM?
A. Unless coming from a previous version of PACman it is highly recommended to do a full wipe before installing. This includes coming from ParanoidAndroid ROMs.
Q. What do the settings in Hybrid Properties do?
A. ParanoidAndroid has an extensive guide to the settings at this thread: [GUIDE][PARANOIDANDROID] A Complete Compendium on ParanoidPreferences [PA-Settings] Please do not post questions related to PA Settings in this thread, they are not ROM specific and all we'll do is point you to that thread.
Q. How do I turn on the Navigation Bar?
A. To enable the NavBar open Hybrid Properties, swipe the screen to the right to peek through to the menu.
Select Interface, now set your desired NavBar size with the slider.
Q. Something isn't working. What do I do?
A. First, make sure you are running the latest stable version. Try a backup data using Titanium and do a full wipe reinstall. If the problem persists, report what it is and what triggers it so the dev can duplicate it.
Q. Can we flash this on Locked Bootloader?
A. No, This requires custom kernel and can never be flashed on locked bootloaders.
Feature FAQ
Q. How do I use the other features that are included with PAC?
A. Click on each features to get more info.

Nick, I'm glad I found you, been lookin all over for you..
I HAVE SOME VERY STRANGE ISSUES..
The nav bar at the bottom overlaps about halfway above of the dock of next launcher which makes the dock unusable and ugly.. the same problem persist in 50% of the other apps notably go sms, quick pic, go launchers and many others.. I mean the nav bar is somehow conflicting/interfering with certain UI parts of some apps.. I have tried the milestone releases and a few latest nightlies but its still not fixed..
Its hard to believe there are many discussions of issues about pac rom going on but I didn't find this preety obvious and significant one anywhere..
I have waited like 3 months since I started with pac, updated about 5 nightlies hoping it will be fixed but no luck everytime..
This one is a serious one.. It has forced me not to use some of my fav apps and use pie navigation at times..
No problem with all the minor bugs but this one is frustrating..
ANY IDEA??

Upon further inspection is the Milestone not on 4.3? I suppose I'll flash the most current nightly. Any help would be appreciated.

[Theme]DARK CandyV1.0 Aroma |Semi Blk Out Theme| GE/CM/AOSP| Updated 1.14.14

This is a Aroma Installer Zip that Ive put together. It will Black out various aspects of Ui and apks.
It also includes a few pieces of Candy.Pictures at the bottom of OP.
Ive decided to rebase Theme installation to Aroma for more customization options and Multi base support[GPE| CM | AOSP] ALL in ONE zip.
SUPPORTED BASES/ROMS
- Google Play Edition Base [HTC ONE...etc]
- Stock Google Base | Rom uses Google Apks not AOSP/CM [ N5...etc ]
- CM Base | AOSP
CM Disclaimer
This part of the theme needs to install GoogleDialer.apk via PA module found here > http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=44417509
If you have issues with Dialer after install please refer to thread first to see if issue can be resolved. I just packaged needed apks for dialer to work on STOCK CM 11 not CM variants... But it still should work if its a CM base. You ALSO get Google CallerID... enable it in phone settings. RESULTS MAY VARY IF IT IS NOT A STOCK CM 11. You can also try to preinstall PA Dialer mod make sure it works then flash the theme. I've tested it myself multiple times running Stock CM 11 and works perfect.
Included in Zip
- Initial release DARK Candy V1.0 aroma
- DEODEXED Rom Support
- ODEXED Rom Support
- CM 11 [cyanogen mod] | AOSP Support
- MINIMAL Version for ANY Rom Google or CM | AOSP Base
[ONLY Blacks Out Backgrounds and PopUps NO apk Inversion]
- Blked Out framework and SysUI [Jus Imgs.. It is NOT replacing Apks]
- Blked Out DeskClock.apk
- Blk Chrome Scrubbers

- Inverted GoogleDialer apk base@Thanaya
- Inverted Contacts apk
- Inverted Blk Calculator
- Blk Toast Pop up
- new Clear All icon
- Custom LockRing Option
- Custom Glow Dots Option
BUGS
- It is probaly NOT ART compatible
Return to Dalvik and theme will be fine. ART is OK if you choose MINIMAL. Since there is no apk swap.
- If u flash CM version do NOT flash theme after clean install... Set up device first then flash this Theme.
- Contact.apk will FC when adding info to birthday field... Working on fix.
Work Around
- Add Birthday fields before flashing theme...sync Google contacts then flash theme.
- Add Bday on other device (tablet..etc) sync contacts...Info will show in themed app.
- Added goto Google.contacts.com and edit Bday then sync conatacts
That's it...
