Well I'm in the South of Wales and I couldn't get to work this morning, the snow is terrible.
Look something interesting:
In America Nexus S sold $529,99 = about 400€.
In UK Nexus S sold £549.95 = about 645€.
Why so much deferrence in price???

In this case the Nexus S worths only if European citizens have someone in US to buy it about 400€...

IMO 650 EUR is defenetly too much for Nexus S. Even factory unlocked iPhone 4 is cheaper in UK. Im from EU, but I will buy nexus s from US.
Just spoke to CPWH customer services and they say they have not received the shipment from the suppliers yet and can't give a exact date to when they will.. ask me to call back Monday.
Im gonna wait until prices for Germany are announced.
Due to the fact that getting NS from US would cost me in the end ~550€, i hope the price in germany wont be any higher - at least i expect that.
Paying 650€ in UK and get it imported here ends up around 700€.
iPhone 4 is only at 630€ at apple-store here...

Do you have any contact names there for anyone who knows what's going on?
I've spoken to customer services twice and neither even knew what the Nexus S is. I've raised a complaint and even then the response is a bit non-de-script.
I ordered mine on the 7th December and have heard nothing about delivery times etc. It's supposed to be 20th December in the UK but still CPW are clueless.
I ordered on the day it was announced. I spoke to CPW this afternoon and they told me that some stock has been released today but there was no guarantee I'd get one and there is more stock next week. Sounds like BS to me, I'll just have to wait and see.

They did this last night as well, it showed in stock in the evenings, and in the day out of stock, lol
My contact in CPW said sunday stock arrival, monday shipping and tuesday arrival, that is if your home isnt under 50ft of snow
And i can tell you this for free....
There have been NO deliverys of NS to CPW as of yet at all

yeah man ...me being from India ..I am more close to china and know all about there phones, tablets and gadgets ..
they must be selling the iPhone 7s in China by now ...
I'm leaving for vacation on the 18th, giving me three business days to receive the device (UPS doesn't deliver on Saturdays, I believe) which is already making me nervous. If I do actually receive the device, I'm absolutely terrified that I won't have a case, especially considering this device is made mostly of glass. I've seen a couple but none of them are actually available until the 17th at the earliest. Are there any available right now? I'm not being picky at all. Anything will work. It can definitely be something temporary. Hell, I'll even accept silicon. That's how desperate I am.
I haven't been able to find much at all. But if you're looking for a quick fix, there are some leather pouches on ebay being marketed for the Nex4. I've contacted one of the ebay sellers and asked about the dimensions....They said it was the correct size for it.

Yeah, it's not exactly what I'm looking for either. But considering my luck with phones in the past.....I need something at least. I want a really good case, but I don't want to get the phone and wait a week or two for a case to be produced and then break it.... That's No Bueno.

Exactly. And I wouldn't be so worried if I were going to be at home. But I'm going to be staying in a cabin with wood floors and in a largely populated area Black Friday shopping. It's basically a recipe for disaster. In a way, it might be a good thing if I did wait...but there's no way I can do that :laugh:

I did consider this, but it seems that it won't be released until the 20th. I ordered a front protector (which I might cancel and order both the front and back soon) from XOSkins that is apparently supposed to ship out on the 13ths. I'm taking a ton of gambles with this one.

I have seen that many of us want a bumper for our Nexus 4's, yet the official one is still listed as OUT OF STOCK and probably will be for a while. I have been looking for any bumpers out there but I have not really found much, except for one that won't be shipping until Dec 30. I am wondering if anyone out there has found any other bumper for the Nexus 4, either available right now, or available soon. It would be good if whoever finds any bumper option can post it here, I'm sure that many will benefit from knowing this. Thanks!

yep poetic one is the only one I have seen other than the official and from the pictures it doesn't look very good but I might try it since it's cheap. I would think we would have seen cases some from major manufacturers already but nope...

I had both the Nexus bumper and the poetic bumper. The Nexus bumper is made very well and has a higher end look and feel. I was using the Nexus bumper prior to the Poetic bumper. The Poetic bumper is narrower and shorter than the Nexus bumper but is slightly thicker. The Poetic bumper is definitely not quite as nice or refined as the Nexus bumper but, IMO, is easier to grip and hold. Some people have had issues with the Poetic bumper separating, but I haven't had any issues and I have removed the case many times. I decided to keep the Poetic bumper and sold the Nexus bumper on ebay.

I contacted them a while ago and they said they are making it just like the official bumper.They also said they will update the pictures on amazon when they get their final mold this week.
I just checked yesterday and it was 7.95, was going to try them but late last night when I checked again, they bumped up the price to 12.95 now... still cheaper than the official bumper though...

I checked this morning and it was $7.95 and now its $12.95.Technically its still a pre order since they won't have it in stock till the 20th, I contacted them about it to make sure.

Agreed. The reviews tend to justify the $350 price, but it's just not a magic spot. $299 along with an actual advertising campaign would've sold these things like hotcakes.

That's really a pretty inflamatory question. The same could be said of virtually any retailer that discounts any product on Cyber Monday. Irrespective, Newegg's generous return policy makes it a non sequitur.

I haven't received mine yet, but from what I've read, I doubt that the blue line is a big concern for all owners.
