Same for me; my A501 is all yours for testing if you want

OK I"m pushing a build
it may wipe out all your data
it may nuke your device
but
it boots
navbar missing
wifi broken
audiobroken
bluetooth broken
in short some adjustments required
if this breaks your tablet or you lose precious family photos don't blame me it's broken just for fun http://code.google.com/p/jellytime-iconia/downloads/detail?name=theanswer.zip&can=2&q=

Remeber kids, in the event this ROM causes nuclear fallout, back up your data so future generations may carry on with the information stored on your tablet.
(Is it as bad as it sounds though?)

This is the way it is in 4.2 onward. Google is unifying the look so it functions the same no matter what screen size (like everyone's favorite fruity rounded rectangles). It's Matias Duarte's vision for the UI. Personally, I have no real issues with it, and I'm sure CM or AOKP will bring back the old functionality.

I read somewhere that android 4.2 changes something in the render script. I know that this changes somehow the performance of 3d, does someone knows if this can relate to our egl leak? If yes, how does it affect performance and the random reboots we have been having?
Thank you for the efford random blame, as always I love your work, and I would donate if my stupid wall art debit card would play well with PayPal. As soon as I get another debit card you and the amazing quarx are going to have a beer from me.

Sweet sweet progress.
Got the navbar
Got storage subsystem working mostly
now for that pesky wifi
*wifi working haha sweet
so audio bluetooth and sdcard/camera

Linked my last build because I'm probably going to bed soon gotta wake up at 5am again :crying:

Awesome work as always phablet interface on 10 inch Tab sweet. Loving the phablet interface on my shiney new nexus 7. Now if I can just pry my fingers of my nexus I will give this at try
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2

Is it will support 3g usb modem ?!

3g is my last priority
working on the audio HAL and bluetooth issue at the moment

Could you also have a look at internal storage support? It moved all of my internal sd content into 0 folder.

This isn't a bug. It is how 4.2 handles multiplte users on a single device.

This is great news. CM 6 for the droid was great for me and i cant wait to put this on epic especially since sprint and samsung doesnt know when the froyo update comes out for the epic.
I came from the moment as my first android phone, so i have no experience with cyanogen. What is it exactly?

Yeah. Don't understand the excitement for this. Noobnl's made greater ROMs than this while crapping on the toilet.
But because Noobnl made this thread, I'm really confused and am seeking answers.
/some of this text may have been made in jest. However, the author still does not understand the significance of this "Cyanogen" mod.
CyanogenMod has to be experienced.
Combination of a great dev team, and optimized system that makes it so loved.
Small system tweaks and menus that don't seem important but are extremely useful. Like being able to skip music with volume rocker, button wake, power button to hang up on calls. CM kernal tends to be overclocked and undervolted which makes the battery last long and still stay very fast.
Also, turquoise/cyan happens to be my favorite color.
This is going to be Epic

no it does not
CM represents the greatest in tweak-ability and configuration. It offers so many options about how you want to use your phone. Coming from the Hero where its only recently gotten CM I freaking loved it. It took the hero from an "eh" device to "I die without this" device. If you think you love your Epic now, just wait till CM is running on it.
If it fixes the Bluetooth compatibility issue like it did the EVO's I'm all over it.

CM includes its own bluetooth stack.... so yes, it support the same bluetooth devices that the EVO does.
I'd like to see
Solid GPS
4G working
TV Out enabled
USB OTG
MobileAP for Infrastructure tethering
Perfect Froyo with the correct EXT4 functional file system
Ap2sd integrated
Undervolt/overclock available via setCPU
All on Cyanogen's excellent, speedy, highly tweakable ROM.
Then I promise..I swear I will leave my phone alone (unless something really major releases)

3.0?
I thought 3.0 is only for tablets? I thought 2.4 was going to be the next Phone update.
Well, as we haven't even gotten 2.3 on the captivate yet..it will probably be a while for 3.0..hopefully it doesn't just work on tablets.
Well I heard news that the Nexus and Desire got a port of honeycomb, but they're non functioning atm
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
Truthfully...
Truthfully, I don't think that many developers truly tried to port 2.3 to us. Supercurio got that test demo out, but no one ever put out a legitimate ROM. And if we have to rely on Samsung... Well, lets just get used to having Froyo.
This just in: Cyanogenmod dropping development on CM7 for SGS.
Just kidding, but I couldn't resist. Lol

No it's a work in progress. If it was ready believe me you would know.
I've been using it for less than a day, but no show stoppers if you know what you're doing. phone works, mms/sms work, wifi can cause kernel panics if it falls asleep (just set to never sleep)... you can thank atinm and the cmsgsteam for it, but CM7 is VERY MUCH SO on the way and in progress

also, I already see this as going to be my daily driver at this point. the only "problems" I've seen are listed above (oh and the camera doesn't work quite yet, can't actually snap photos, just FC's on trying... but barcode scanner works)
not to mention the battery life is about 10% an hour on light usage
im hoping for the best and would love a solid release. I wish I knew more so I could help :/

Been my daily for 2 weeks.
If anyone is prepared to do some work the rom is there. Just don't show up and ask how to install Linux, what is terminal etc. You need to be self sufficient, its not a simple cwm flash.

If you make a phone sized AVD from the honeycomb SDK, you get a very functional phone ROM. Looks very similar to gingerbread.

I think it's best if you upgrade, as Windows 8 will raise in price after January 31st.
Make sure you read over all the changes, of which there are a tonne, and take advantage of them.
May as well take advantage of the cheap upgrade offers now...
I find there is no disadvantage running a mouse compared to swiping with a touchscreen, but a trackpad on a lappie is a little slower...

Here's a a rough summary of Windows 8's features - ignoring the obviously new UI everyone knows about:
Multimonitor support overhaul
File Explorer improvements with ribbon
Shorter boot times
Security enhancements
Faster file copying that can be paused and maintains a single window
Redesigned task manager
Integrated social and calendar applications
Native .iso mounting
Better battery usage
Cloud synchronization
File History continuous sequential backups
Backups to network drives
chkdsk that will take 10 secs each and every time rather than hours
Storage spaces for multiple hard drives (Like an OS-based RAID 0 or 1)
50% less RAM usage
Tighter CPU control
3G data monitoring
Vastly superior conflict resolution when copying files so you know exactly which files will be replaced and the exact differences
Copy/delete jobs that never stop halfway with an "are you sure?" message while you're AFK
Easy refresh and reset options in case of operating system failure
Windows Update which is now COMPLETELY automated and will never show a single popup ever again
UEFI motherboard support
Native USB 3.0 support
With the other, miscellaneous stuff like HYPER-V and other things that don't affect me- but may be of great use to others.

This is really different from RAID. With storage spaces you can hook up random external drives to your computer and merge them to whatever drive you want. This is extremely useful for those who are too scared or do not know how to touch their hardware and those who have all-in-ones that are hard to modify.

I never heard anything. For the time being I've built the CM10 and ported the AOKP framework.
CM10 is going to final builds soon, and AOKP has already stopped at M1, so once this gets all ironed out there won't really be any changes. Future updates will address bugs only until I can figure out the Git myself and add the Camera.

I had no problems charging as mtp was already checked off from my previous install of JC Sullins' preview CM10. Matter of fact, if you plug into usb, even though it won't connect you can then tap usb connected from notifications and see whether mtp is checked off or not and check if needed.

Pumped to see this. Been a huge fan of AICP since my Desire HD days.
Does Dialer force close when attempting to make calls?
Edit: Yep, it does. Dang it.
Nice! One of my favorite ROMs thanks for bringing this to the m9... Only issue I've been having is camera issues ,aicp force closes from time to time & the time at the top gets stuck every now and then
I tried it and found Android 6.0 is having issues with my PC, not recognizing my SD Card, not even the Internal SD !!! :S I know it is pure Super fast but i cant live without connecting my phone to PC.
Also I tried to flas Gapps just after installing MM (not reboot and with Aroma) and the installation freezes, so im stuck with pure Android no Google Apps, so I did return to Lollipop VipeOne 3.5.0 with a full backup made with TWRP.
Yeah, sorry. I have reverted back to Aicp Lollipop. I have a few kernel changes and got the battery life closer to the m8 but a whole hell of a lot snappier.
