Sign up for the email notification. That is the only way I was able to get them this time. Sorry

It says $49.99 for me, but IS in stock near me.
Did you get an additional $10 off somehow or did they just increase the price?
I'm thinking about it for $49.99 though, seems like a good deal, worth more knowing that it's not counterfeit like it could be from eBay or amazon.

They increased it.

At $49.99, its still cheaper than the $65 or so from Amazon and elsewhere.

Also, remember tax will be added.

Since I signed up for product notification and/or Radio Shack spam they sent me a $10 coupon and I still got this for $39.99 + tax and free shipping to store. Awesome deal! Thanks! Total came to $42.79 with Ohio Sales tax.

Nice!

Target Selling A500 $299 from Aug 14th...

Ooops too new to post links but check it out on androidpolice.com.
Same exact price as when I got it a month ago.
Actually, it's $399 and you also receive a $100 Target gift card according to the Target ad. It makes a little difference (or a lot ) depending upon how much you pay in sales tax in your locale.

Walmart has the same deal too both online and in stores. I picked up one yesterday.

I recently bought the 32GB from Costco. It was $429. I am considering a quick return for this model and the $100 gift card (Wal Mart).
This is my wifes toy and she uses it to play some games and browse facebook. I think 16GB should be sufficient?

I went today and they gave me 80 bucks back. I personally think Costco is a better deal since you get one more year of warranty, its double the memory and you have 90 days to return it. Also if you use an American express card you get another year of warranty (3 years total).

Just a heads up.... Best Buy is doing the same. I picked one up taday and got $100 gift card with purchase.
These are still coming with 3.01...
Who wants to save another 10$ ?
I just bought the A500 at walmart (through a friend) and now have the 100$ gift card.
I live in Germany therefore I can't use the gift card. I would sell it for 90$. I would recommend payment via paypal and shipping via email.

If you really want a good buy - pick up one of the SanDisk 8gig micro SDHC cards - $17.99 - but inside the packaging is a coupon for 100 free 4x6 prints - a $13.00 value. So the card ends up costing just $5.00. Not too shabby.

Our sales tax here is 6%, so for me the $550 becomes a total of $582. That's still less than anywhere else I've found on line by a long shot. Oh, and I confirmed with my local Best Buy that they WILL price match AT&T at $550. So that might be another option.
$649 for no contract or $149 for individual upgrade at Amazon, but they don't charge tax do they? Or I guess it depends on the state your in.
Samsung Galaxy S III 4G Android Phone, Blue 16GB (AT&T)
EDIT: it's now $549 for no contract.
best price is free as in beer
AT&T has best no-commit price. And after awhile there will be eBay offering around the same price and without tax. So... Weigh your options, and see. It is time vs money.

The 229 for the 16gb is before tax and shipping in many states, sales tax percentage differs from state to state and county to county, where some states don't charge a sales tax, and others do. I live in Chicago which is Cook County, and we have one of the highest sales tax percentages in all the US @ 10.25% so if I were to buy a 16gb from a local brick and mortar store it would cost me with tax, about 252.47...all depends where you are in the states....that said I ordered mine off Amazon the wkend right before the launch date, and mine came to be 238, as amazon doesnt charge tax yet in IL (I chose saturday delivery for 9 bux more with prime).

its standard to quote the prices before taxes. the reason is that some states have no tax (as mentioned) and the others all vary wildly as to what the tax rate is. quoting a price with tax would therefore be inaccurate for most...

Those of you that got the deal of price match and then $30 off at staples are lucky because according to the Staples price match they were suppose to deduct the $30 from the $269 price and then price match. Here is their policy on that, taken from their web site.
If you buy an item from us for $159 and you have a $30 coupon, the net price is $129. If another company’s price is $125, your price match would be $4 off our net price of $129. Dollars-off coupons will be proportionally deducted from the prices of items in your order.
