I wanted to know whether rooting LG Optimus L5 E615 is possible or not ?
If so then how can I go about rooting the phone, please guide me in the right direction and also provide me with the necessary tools and roms that I would require for both rooting and restoring

Well, it's been quite a while, and nobody's even looked at this.
Could anyone at least hint whether or not rooting the L5 E615 (Dual Sim) is anything like rooting the L5 E610 (Non Dual Sim) ?
Because if only that was confirmed, this would be resolved as there are already guides to rooting it...I realize they both use the optimus 3.0 but the dual sim feature worries me, So it would be very appreciated if anyone out there would kindly resolve this. Thank you

I tried it out, bt it disables the dual sim feature, therefore i created my own custom package and guide to prevent such stuff from happening, it works on all optimus L5 E-Series

I used Kingo Android ROOT, wich is very good for chineese phones, and this model uses a chineese processor MTK. Alcatel 4010 uses the same processor and worked. I have both phones rooted by this.

Take a look at this LG L65 phone, it is almost exactly the same as the LG Optimus L7 II Dual.
Is it probable to do a port of the kitkat rom from the L65 to the L7 II Dual?
As much as I like cyanogenmod, most phones have taken most of their ideas and there are apps than can carry out the functionality with just root. So I do not need much tweaking, an LG stock kitkat should be able to work......... RIGHT??? The bootloader should not be angry at another LG rom............ RIGHT??????
