It appears that Droid 2 for the US and Milestone 2 for the UK/Europe are exactly the same. Expansys show both phones on their sites and they have the specs.

Id have to say, the only difference is the lack of verizon-bloatware, and the ability to record in 720p.. AH I'M ANGRY! Motorola Mod Edit droid 2 users out of 720p so people would buy the X.
Milestone is the gsm model. The droid 2 is cdma. A us droid will not work in europe the same way a vcr can't play betamax tapes.

Iv had My droid RAZR m for almost 2 years, on the 25th my contract expires and I'm gonna upgrade to an LG G3.
Droid RAZR m was my first phone that I ever rooted, unlocked bootloader, and installed custom ROM. I learned everything from this phone and XDA combined.
What's your future phone guys?

Personally, I'd really like a 2014 Moto X. Alas, I don't see myself moving from my RAZR M anytime soon, as my contract's not up 'till November and I probably won't be able to afford any decent upgrade.
I'm configuring a Sony Xperia Z3 Compact for a cousin of mine, and I think it's a great replacement for our Razr M: slightly larger (really slightly for a device packing a 4.6" screen) and full of power. One of the thing that lead me to buy a phone 5000 miles away was the compact size teamed with a good hardware that characterize our Razr M.
Another important thing: the battery life! Razr M was great at the time, and the Z3 Compact is incredible now! IP68 certification and 2 Gb of ram are a welcome addition too. Here in Europe you may buy it for 320 Euros and I think it's a great price for a device like that.
I've rooted and instralled a recovery on the Z3 Compact, it's easy... So I'm not going to miss the unlocked bootloader either!
So, if I had to choose, Z3 Compact is my replacement... but I'm too used to my Razr M for now... Let's wait and see!

I've tried on swappa but no luck. I've also tried eBay. But they seem pretty expensive. Anyone know of someone or a place where I can pick up an x force? I'm in California.

Don't buy it in other place your bootloader may be impossible to unlock.
You can also custom your Moto for free if you buy it on the official website.
For exemple you can have your name or anything on the back of the Moto.
You can also choose custom texture, and color for your phone and even a premium leather instead of the ballistic nylon! (but leather is not free of course, personally I have order my Moto in leather)

The name is Motorola Moto X Force for the entire world, except for the US where is "Moto Droid Turbo 2" I ****ing don't know why lol.
Yeah I was looking at Motorola website.. It's a lot cheaper but I don't have Verizon. I use cricket so I'm worried about some of the bands not being compatible.
I'm currently using an LG v10 and Xperia but thinking about getting rid of the v10 for a turbo 2/x force.
Mainly for that shatterproof screen.
