i had a phone LG Optimus 7 P705 with V10i Firmware ( rooted )
i've already use an application like Android Tuner,Booster etc .
but i feel my phone nothing different after it
i want to try edit anything on /system folder but they tell me can brick the phone :crying:
how to tweak performance LG Optimus 7 ?
for a better performance , fastest and not lag .
i don't understand using V6 Supercharger on step service.jar

Hey, that happened to me also and here's what i did.
First of all, I erased all of the apps that came with the phone (Company's app. E.G Telcel,claro,AT&T,etc).
Once i did that, i downloaded a different launcher (Go launcher EX, it's free), cuz' the one that comes with the phone simply doesn't work!.
When you do that, you can have almost 200Mb Free in RAM, so it takes away a lot of work from your device.
What i'm trying to do right now is to swap the RAM memory to the Sd card.

Dont u think that changing ram to use sdcard will lower the performance? Considering higher io time?

lol..why use that .. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1550469 ...for me its the smoothest...everything works well
For me sdsl2.1 is best with 2.6.29revo kernel even battery last for about 2.5 days

wingrime's ROM is very popular in other forums and there's a reason for.
everything works! especially camera libs are much better and .35 is rocking on there. and it isn't slow because it has got bad results in Quadrant.

yeah using this too and its very fast, even after many hours of usage (this is my problem with SDSL)

well for me some bugs that stopped me using it, but its the fastest ( with .35) i think

i made a mistake
gps does work on other roms i tried (aokp 4.0.4 asis by ??? (dev swift), swiftdroid 2.0 asis by mur4ik), but bluetooth calls NEVER worked. the other person on phone hears me, but i hear nothing (as i said: music works) this is not a problem of the headset, because it works well on my laptop and other phones.
will give the other roms a try, a little bit sad, the openswift was the best rom i ever tried but i need GPS!
never had a so fast rom and so much space for system and ram
maybe it depends on my swap? never had it till this rom
a question about swap: more = better? have 1gb swap now (highest in recovery i think)
do i have to make a new swap when i change rom?

Swap is like virtual ram it push proceses that you dont use on swap part and frees up the ram
1 gb is more than enough

1 GB is wasting SD memory
i an currently using 64 MB because my system usually needs around 20-40 MB Swap
only games like GTA 3 need so much memory, but you won't be albe to play these games smooth.
many people complain about BT headsets, most ROMs have problems. you should try some older releases, some of them have it working
(i think about SDSL 1.1 , maybe it'll work)

if it doesn't work try some other ROMs (maybe devswift's oxygen, some froyo ROMs etc. )

great, tried it but i sadly i removed cache and userdata
now i have to install all apps a 2nd time i think
about swap: can i change the size without a new installation of the rom?

tip: use titanium backup! it saves all apps with their userdata
to change the swap size just use CWM again. but save your SD-card files first

yes, was a stupid mistake not backing up my data before :cyclops:
first test (using navigon 4.1.3)
first try: freeze
second try: works
again about swap: what block size do i have to use? 4k? 32k? other?

okay did it with 160mb system and its working
till now its all fine, not so smooth but ok
gps is working, camera not so good... tomorrow i will try bluetooth
i have bought this LG device model and because of its low free memory space for installing apps (2gig) i want to root it and then move my apps to the new SD card i purchased for my device.
does anyone know a method to root my device???
i want a way that if i root it ,after a while, if necessary i could unroot it again for its warranty!

It is a good device.
I have it since last week,it didn't have any lag till now.the problem with it is that has low memory in hand for apps or others.its gaming performance is good but I can't run HD games to test because my country has been banned by Google and this kind of games need to be checked with their licenses.
If you expect this device to do what xperia s or others do,I recommend you not to buy this device.
I was run antutu benchmark app and it gave me the number of 6612 for my device.
Totally it is good for me.

You must check the version of your ROM and then look for special file with the root in the internet, also at this forum. Then you will have to connect your phone and depending of the root it will do it itself or there will be instruction how to do that. Remember to install USb Drivers and to enable debuging profile in options.
You can download USB Drivers at the official LG site.

but application goes to system be default

We all, LG Optimus L3 E400 owners, have this issue...
I'm currently using SDMergE400 Mod by gellmaR & cRaZyByte, which is fixing this issue by repartition the internal storage - what gives us 1.1GB of space.
I'm using it for a week now, and it's working great!

this is with e400, and i think it needs to flash CM, and i want to keep original rom.
Then you can use gellmar's StockMergE400 (gSME400) Custom ROM, which is built for the stock version.
BTW, why are you preferring the stock ROM? Do you really love it, or is it for stability?

If you want to speed up the phone, you could turn off animations which will help. There is also PureperformancesX which may or may not run on your phone. I've used Pureperformance with CM-based 4.2.2 on my LG Nitro and CM-based 4.3 on my N4.

It will make my phone faster ? , i mean i want load apps more fast without "screen lags" , i have no animations , my rom is clean still the stock from google but i rooted my phone ... you think CM is good for Nexus 4 ? i think i should stay with my rom stuck.
You can't make your phone faster except oc
, theoretically. what you see on iPhone is an animation indeed .

1.if you are in stock (2.3.6) .... root it and install rom manager app from play store
2.install the cwm 5.8.4.5 recovery for l3 from rom manager
3.download "SDMergE400_step4v1.3b" and "SDMergE400_mod_gellmar_crazybyte.zip without old step4" files from this link "http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2215406"
4.Extract files from "SDMergE400_mod_gellmar_crazybyte.zip without old step4"(you will get "SDMergE400_step1.zip" and "SDMergE400_step2.zip") and put these files in sdcard and put "SDMergE400_step4v1.3b.zip" directly(dont extract files)
5.go to recovery by turning off phone and press volume down +home + power
6.format system and data and cache partitions
7.then install SDMergE400_step1.zip and phone will reboot after That install SDMergE400_step2.zip
8.then install any cm9 rom (Stock rom will not work.... except Gellmars modified stock rom )
9. after that install cm9 rom..... dont reboot to system immediately ....install SDMergE400_step4v1.3b.zip now reboot to system
10...enjoy SDMerg cm9...
