Yes. I've tested multiple times today. I've also tested it in various parts of the city the last few days. It's always above 10mbps. Most of the time it's above 15.
Edit: More results after mine that's even faster. Nice work T-mobile.

I got from the low 13Mbps to 28Mbps inside my house. This must be the thing of future for Internet connection... not very consistent at all. At least when I used my Captivate with HSPA+, I consistently got 2Mbps
This is actually a usefull thread I'll be getting my GS3 tomorrow but on my one s get from 8-16 mbps leaving sprint till LTE comes alive and hopefully is good in Las Vegas

CM9 - T-Mobile UK - Speedtest

Hello all
just wondering if any of you guys use CM9/T-Mobile UK and also what kind of speeds you currently getting because mine are below 1mbps download and less than 0.5mbps upload :/
Truely shocking to say they are the first to bring out 4G!
Baseband Version : i9300BWLH1
Any help appreciated
Also if anyone on original T-mobile firmware can you advise of the default modem
Thank you
Thanks for the reply :/

I'm running stock and T-Mobile UK and I get about 3meg down and 1meg up on 3g and H+.
I don't think their 4g will speed up the 3g but you're right, yours should be faster depending on your connection.

EE who will be running the 4G network is the company who own both Orange and T-Mobile. the I-9300 isn't LTE compatible so it's not worth mentioning that, as for your low speed contact customer services and ask for the iPhone data speed cap remover to be added to your account, you'll need to speak to technical, I had it added to my Orange account and speeds went from 500kb to 7000kb.
Im the same. Running stock rom Tmobile uk hspda.
Was actually pretty surprised i was getting that amount. I only get 2mb max with o2 broadband in the house!

The one the has a big "X" or the S-Curve ones are ok. I've used them on all of my phone I bought this year. I use them until something better comes out.
Still time, get with Discover 5% and get about 30 bucks off. $589.99 - $30 = $559 approx

For those that have gotten them, is it 7100 or 7105?
In the description it said 7100, but also said LTE, which was confusing and contradictory since 7100 does not have LTE.
Reason I ask is 7100 is supposed to be high volume device with better dev support. 7105 might have better resale value because of LTE support in some markets

Technically to be 4G it has to be able to attain 100Mbps or greater. LTE technically is a technology that can do 4G but not in it's current state of below 100Mbps speeds.

That's HSPA+ and WiMax (at least how T-Mobile, AT&T, and Sprint marketed 4G).
But AFAIK, the new LTE networks being deployed are in fact true 4G. Why else would Verizon be putting SIM cards in their phone now? Because LTE is a GSM technology and they have to.

Advanced LTE starting Today

Many of you must have heard that starting today LTE-A has been turned on by Verizon on more than 400 cities nationwide. I live in Denver area and seems like it's been turned on here. I haven't seen any unusual speeds yet (maybe because I don't get very good signal where I work).. but have you guys noticed it?

I actually did a random speed test earlier in San Diego which is listed. Pretty slow if you want to see the screenshot yourself.
I'm on the rooted Sprint ROM with all the Verizon features though, so I'm not sure if that would prevent LTE-A
I'm flashing back to stock tonight so I'll see again tomorrow when I get to work.
