on my nexus s not work from play store download apps. it tells me error when i try. maybe its my neighbor's network problem maybe its these gapps problem i dont know but i downloaded from browser some programs... and problem is in gapps

Your device is trolling..
Google it your errors, but normally re-adding accounts, clearing Google services framework, playstore data

I was looking at flashing the 4.2 keyboard. In the 4.2 gapps link I see two keyboards, 4.2 emoji keyboard and 4.2 keyboard. does emoji keyboard contain everything as the other keyboard+emojis or is there any other difference? Which one is good to be flashed?

I'm using the full package with Nexus S with Codename 3.6.6 and Matr1x cfs v 24 kernel and is working GREAT.

I have the latest paranoidandroid and marmite kernel.I have install the 4.2 gapps and when im on camera and pinch to zoom the zoom dont work...
so..what's wrong?can you help me please in order to have a working zoom?all the other factions like photoshere and panorama are working and they are great...

right now i have not added any features yet. I want to at least fix the Play Store bug first as that is a big issue.

Maybe it's gapps related. Try using another gapps zip file.

Sometimes. Lol. A lot of my stuff is for me and my convinence but I release it cause I know I'm not the only one loosing G-Apps after every new nightly.

I've installed our alpha build for Nexus S and installed Gapps. Than I tried the ART function instead... It worked..with Google services FCs.
So I believe that it could work as long as we flash compatible google apps?
What do you guys think?

Assuming the Nexus 4 and S both use the same gapp builds than I'd assume yes. If they use different builds of gapps normally, then someone would need to make an odexed build of them for the S. But I'm curious how it goes, turning on ART on mine would be nice, anything to eek out a little more speed would be awesome.

I switched the runtime to ART and now the launcher doesn't work (black screen) and when booting it sticks at "Starting Apps"

Firefox or another third party browser seems to work for the web, but google now will still be messed up... I am sure you installed correctly, but a clean install may help with ART?? You could try odexing, I liked how that worked with ART (minus the 15min initial boot time??) I don't like the gel / 4.4 laucher, I use Nova with no issues (not the 4.4 beta).. Devil kernel works well with this rom and has more available ram.. I did the full setup and restore of all my apps before switching to ART with no issues and no issues switching to ART after odexing..
If some one use openpdoide you cant use ART (mabye it will be fixed). I tried it an the whole system rebooted.....
AMAZING! I knew Android 4.4 is optimized for devices that only have 512 MB memory, but I thought that is just another Project Butter: won't be very obvious on low-end devices. As soon as I loaded CM 11, I found out I was wrong. It just bring my Nexus S back to life and I can't believe this is the successor of CM 10.2. Don't know how good it will be after switch to ART. Although I have a Nexus 4, I just feel happy that I don't need to throw this phone away.

I am using [UNOFFICIAL][ROM][4.4][21112013] CyanogenMod 11 for Samsung Nexus S with Devil Kernel on ART. It works ok, but device gets really SLOW from time to time. With that I mean it is unusable for more than 5min.
It might be the kernel, I flashed Euroskank CM11 now and won't flash any kernel to see whats going on.
I am usign THOSE GAPPS.

I use art on cm11 and all my apps and everything else works just fine. I get even better SOT. I use Banks Gapps but Cm's should work as well.
I'm using PA's full Gapps and Art just fine on CM11.

I use the gapps from cyanogenmod's wiki, for my cm version.

I had been badly missing Motorola Camera with its cool UI, best autofocus onto custom ROMs. I just remembered my 1st gen had a port of it for CM12. So I attempt it for OSPREY running CM12.1 by @squid2 and it runs perfectly fine Now this fulfills my most missed thing from stock ROM. If you do, then you may like to try this out.
Visit original thread linked above and download the one from MOTOROLA link with filename as "MotoAppsMaterialGoogle2.zip". Flash it via twrp recovery.

Not sure of slow motion. It used to not work on 1st gen aosp roms. Give it a try.

UPDATE: Visit original thread and Download the one from GOOGLE link as some reported back that MOTOROLA link created fc on last few nightlies. Confirmed working fine on CM20151009 nightly. Flash it via twrp recovery.

I flashed the one with playstore support but it doesent seem to work, cant find the apps in the playstore and they are not updatig. Anyone eperiencing this? I was using AOSP Rom

This is the one i flashed... it stayed on kitkat version and it didn't even show up on the playstore. When i tryed to install the motorola one form playstore it was saying its not comaptible... how did you manage to do it?
