Nexus 7 not fully charged - Nexus 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My N7 has been on charge for 4 hours (charging while turn-off). Just took a look at it and it says fully charged but only 97% (see in setting > battery). Once I unplugged and then plug it, it show 100% fully charged right away. This is my second charge since I got it and the first one was also like this.
What happen to my N7's battery? Any idea how can I make my N7 fully charged at the first charge. Thanks!!

Nexus One Faulty Battery

Hi, All
I received my Nexus One Yesterday Morning & put it on charger straight away. This Morning checked the charge on the Battery indicator & it is still at 20%. Also the Orange light did not turn green.
Has anybody else come across this issue. I have already done a brief search on the Forum but couldn't find a similar article.
Thanks

Could be the charger.
Try the PC USB cable and turn the device off. See if it goes up after 30 minutes.
Already tried it, no difference. Wrung Google support & there collecting it tomorrow for repair.
mine went completely flat yesterday was plugged into usb for 6 hours and only charged 15% plugged into wall when i got to work and within 2 hours was full 100%

Tablet doesn't charge if dock is fully charged?

With my dock fully charged and showing green, my tablet was at 97% and I kept it plugged in overnight. This morning, the tablet is still showing 97% so I'm left to wonder if the dock is fully charged, then the tablet won't charge?
Anyone else notice this?
I read in this forum that the TF battery charge of 97% is a magic number which stops re-charging. If you dropped to say 90% the TF would start charging again to 100%. This was implemented as a way to lengthen the life of the battery caused by continuous mini-charges of the last 3%. So I expect that if your dock was still plugged in it is fully charged.
Yeah the tablet is effectively seeing the the power connection as being on mains when connected to the keyboard.

battery not charging to 100%

After my phone had been on the charger all night I pulled it off the charger and noticed my battery immediately went to 98% after I unplugged it. What seemed to correct this for me was I had to turn the phone off let it fully charge then for safe measures I unplugged it and plugged it back in again till it said 100% again. After doing this my phone now fully charges and stays at 100% after I pull it off the charger.
Just thought I'd share...

The reason for this is for battery health. The phone will actually slowly leech a charge down while plugged in once it hits 100% and then recharge. The reason for this is because it's bad to leave a phone at 100% all the time. It's normal for that to happen with phones. Some phones are more accurate with displaying the proper percentage than others.
Thats odd. My phone charged to 100% yesterday and after about 30-40 minutes of rarely any usage it was still at 100
yeah it happens from time to time. But its easy to remedy.

[Q] Nexus 4 "pretends" to charge

Hi,
I have a really weird problem with my Nexus 4 for a few weeks now:
I connect it to a charger and it tells me it's charging, it even goes up to 100%, however, it doesn't actually charge. At some point a few minutes after disconnecting from the charger the battery percentage suddenly drops to a low value (somewhere around where I would expect it to be without charging).
As example what I mean here are some things that happened during the last few days:
One day I had it connected to my turned off PC (USB provides power anyways) and the next day it was turned off and when connected to a power socket charger it showed 0%.
Yesterday evening I plugged it in and after a few hours unplugged it because it showed 100%, this morning it then showed 30% (it's highly unlikely the battery drained this much doing nothing in 6 hours).
About one hour ago I rebooted it because it was only showing 13% (I "charged" it about 1 hour, before that it showed 10%) and after that it said the battery has 2% left.
However, sometimes it actually charges, but since I can't tell the difference between charging and fake charging it's starting to really piss me off.
The charger is not the problem, my Nexus 7 charges whenever it is connected to the charger and also it didn't work when connected to my PC either.
Is the firmware capable of interfering with the loading process (I have AOKP installed) or is the Nexus 4 simply damaged?
Any other idea what could be the cause of this problem?
EDIT: As previously said it says 2%, but it definitely isn't at 2% for real since it's like this for hours now. This sucks...

You can try to wipe batterystats.

Battery Charge Time

I got my G2 like amonth ago, lost the USB cable that came with phone the first day. Bought long cable off ebay and I am using it with wall charger that came with the phone. The problem is yesterday when I got up (I usually leave my phone charging overnight) it was at 75%. This morning when I got up it was 27% and it was charging all night. Checked battery usage graph and it shows like phone was not charging at all tho there is a sing in notification bar that it is charging. Tried few other chargers from S3 and S4. Doesn't matter what charger I plug in it estimates that battery will be charged to full in 30 HOURS. Can anyone help me how to fix this ?
Thanks
