What is up with so many people thinking the N7100 is LTE? Please guys, for the record, there is no LTE on this device so please shut up about it. I thought with being early adopters I'd find some smart dudes here, but geez... I miss the i9300 forum where everyone knew their shizz.

think the confusion with some was when they showed it off at the IFA they stated that LTE would be built in hence the usa getting same quad core cpu as international but with added LTE capabilities....
roll on a months and we now see internationals dont have LTE unless you get next revision up N7105.
so you could say it was bad communication
but we all know better now and if not you will reading these sites... lol

I must say i did not know that my version was light years thinner and lighter then all the us models untill i played with all 3 models anyways my question is what would you have picked? the real Uk Gs2 or branded GS2 now my uk version gets 4g but on Att only but im on tmobile and i keep my clear wireless on me at all times so im never on edge but witch model do you guys like? The exnoys Cpu is a beast and faster then the S3 i hear but again was my choice a good one i love how thin this device is and the fact its not tied to any network so the Ics update should come with no problems and theres tons of roms and development for the uk gs2

Also the AT&T model is the same as the international model lmao (same thickness except it has 4 capacitive buttons). So you obviously didn't play with AT&T model and you got ripped off. Oh yea and its pathetic that you have to carry a hotspot with you at all times just to get 3G speeds.

My choice, I would have bought the cheapest, and not asked for opinions after buying it in the wrong part of the forums.
i9100 is $560-580 right now.
well also here in ontario i purchased a new device rather then those of "kijiji" or "ebay" b/c of some people bs'in about things and products and with tax of 13% i paid about $700 but with that i got a leather case + a protector and also from a wireless store and got their warranty + 1 more year on top total of 2 yrs. so yeah i looked @ my benefits but now whether it'd be galaxy galatica or note or sgs3 come out im 150% on my device + no contract either .. so till death this device is with me and i know yeah LTE and all this bullcrap but i don't need that sh** nor am i tempted to get htc raider or sgs 2 lte or w/e is out b/c all of them have same specs xcept maybe "screen" which is useless you might as well carry a tablet or a laptop ..and nfc which is no biggie b/c unless ur a doosh and lazy to carry a wallet then u might as well grow up and start carrying a wallet..lol no offence anyone plz don't start a bashing contest cause ill laugh and thats just that and as far as speed you can overclock sgs2 to 1.4 or 1.6 anyways with dual processor. now lets be nice and enjoy what we have and how we have it and so on..

You have to realize that perhaps this person doesn't research hardware and software the same way some others do. Maybe he/she thought Tegra3 was a software not hardware, or maybe they thought that the chipset might be replaceable hardware.

Tegra 3 is the next iteration in the line of Tegra CPU/GPUs (code name Kal El) that are not only in most Android tabs, but quite alot of phones as well now.

If so does anybody here know if let's say I purchased a Tegra 3 tablet say next year with Ice Cream Sandwich the Operating System, could I then somehow flash with a ROM to Windows 8 ARM?
I'm new too, go easy still learning but willing to read links and anything else you advise.

Its actually quite likely that you will be able to get win 8 on even out Iconia.but of course there is always issues like drives and for the Iconia in its present state the issue of over coming the boot loader.Ms is known for having huge systems win 8 might require a boot partition much larger then the boot orR recovery partition of the Iconia.
So the short answer is Totally unknown until microcrap gets win 8 arm out.

Whats "everything points to 5.0 needing 4 cores." I think your saying that to operate/run key-lime pie you would need a quad core? tab 2 wont be updated beyond 4.2.2!
and yeah, english may not be his native language..even if it is, u dont need to get all over him for that!
I dont appreciate Samsung's plan of stopping on 4.2.2 since the first galaxy tab is also getting the 4.2.2 update.

Samsung wont update beyond 4.2.2 because they would rather you purchase their new Tab range that will carry 5.0....its pretty clear and obvious...Samsung isnt a charity at the end of the day...
Yes, this is true that the original Tab range will be getting the updates as well but thats partly due to the fact that they carry some pretty decent hardware specs such as Tegra 2 and Exynos...both of which are more pronounced in the performance department when compared to Tab 2 range of TI offerings...
