I know how to deal with gumtree, regularly sell mobiles on there. There are some legitimate buyers amongst the scammers, I dont use ebay anymore because of the high fees.
Ive found a uk website with stock selling for £499.

I never said it was? Its a PRE-order page. Was merely highlighting the price in case someone wanted to save a little money.
Nothing wrong with gumtree so long as common sense is used. I.e. cash on collection, no postage of items, no paypal/western union. I've sold quite a few items with no problems.

Don't forget that the price is slightly higher due to the UK's higher vat (20%). The total price including UK vat and delivery as of last night is 480GBP, obviously its pre order though.

I traded in my s3 at car phone warehouse today and got 243 quid for it and my note 2 was 549..so only had to pay 300 for this.
Super impressed.. However bit gutted when I got it home and realised that I had read the USA specs for it which said 4G capable.. And the UK one isn't :-\

According to Three, they are locked and will cost you 15.32GBP to get it unlocked.

Anyone have more info if 3 have them locked or unlocked, I would like to get one from them but need it to work on O2.

My PAYG from Three seems to be unlocked... i put in a Voda PAYG sim, and it got onto the network OK. wasnt able to test calls since no credit on card... was one of the 1st batch on launch day, so they might lock later ones??

02 current brochure have note 2 16gb @ £479.99 dont know if unlocked but i know its not the lte version as thats not out yet...its coming out after oct 15th i think when EE starts rolling...hence why im waiting to see if it supports o2 frequency ready for next years o2 lte...before i buy the 32gb version.

You get international warranty from some sellers in amazon.com as well. Just search SA-I9100 in amazon and they are around $684. Although I don't know what is the difference between sa and gt models.

If you are on Sprint, then only the sprint version will work on sprint. You can't buy an international version and use it on sprint. So you don't really have a choice, unless you plan on switching.
The international version only works on ATT.

I've used 1SaleADay multiple times on multiple occasions. They are completely reputable.
That said, some of their information is completely wrong on the page. The phone being the Internation version means it does NOT support LTE. Simply go to Samsung's page for the Note or check it up on Google Search/Engadget/etc. Go there if you want to buy and don't know information.
Otherwise, it is a worthy purchase.

Cheapest Note II buy for the UK

When I was looking for a website to buy my Note II I came across this website that does camera equipment (some smart phones included) for cheap. This is possibly the cheapest I've seen the Note II, at £469.99 with free delivery in the UK. The shipments from Hong Kong, but the website has had nothing but brilliant reviews and they have a local warranty location based in London. Mine is just waiting to be shipped at the moment. The links below if anyone wants to check it out!

Yep, +1 for Panamoz. I got mine on the O2 deal on Hotukdeals for around £400 but the Panamoz deal is just as good because you don't have to rely on quidco or tcb.

Good luck with any warranty claims on those. Buying from outside the UK you are at the mercy of country of origin warranty or manufacturers warranty which may or may not cover you.
Got mine from Amazon UK. Paid a little more than those prices but I know I'm getting a UK spec device with a full UK supplier warranty covered by the Sale of Goods Act.

Actually they are really good when it comes to warranty, depending on your problem they'll swap you a new phone if they can't find a fix. Because you haven't used them or heard of them, don't make bad assumption of them. I used them for a while a long with my friends and there service is brill, i'm talking about Panamoz. That is why they recieved 4.8 out of 5 from 500 reviews.
£400 brand new from me, I've got my SIM free titanium grey note 2 coming tomorrow from Tesco on contract but I only need this SIM card since getting the nexus now

In China, N7100 is about £420 in Amazon and New Egg etc
Stick with a reliable source such as Amazon, with Amazon you have a 30 days return period. No questions asked policy. So if your device is defective keep swapping until you get a perfect one. For us Amazon Prime users they even send out a replacement the next day and have upto 30 days to return the defective phone now thats good.

So here is what I thinK Panamoz can sell it so cheap because they are goey market handsets g, if there is a problem they will replace it with another grey Markel but they don't Provide VAT receipts • for me it is not safe q chose to buy it from gumtree for cash With bill so that I Can claim Warranty. It's up to you but panama are pretty good as per reviews
+1 for Panamoz here. Excellent sales and after sales service, can't recommend highly enough!
Has anyone actually recieved the phone from panamoz. The deal seems to good to be true. Thinking i might return the one I bought from amazon for 495.

Nexus 4 - Singapore Thread

Anyone from Singapore spotted this baby in any of the shops yet?
I know it's yet to be officially released but I remember seeing the galaxy nexus in sim lim and some random neighborhood hp shop at least 3 weeks before actual release date... plan to go scout for this this weekend to try and check out the pricing for buying off the shelves here...

I want this piece also. But here in Malaysia i know price will be marked up more than 50%. Which is kinda sh*tty. Sigh. So i plan to get it in the US via playstore and somehow delivered to my mom who is currently visiting there.

Yeah. You're the lucky one. Sigh. I don't think so i could get from playstore as planned. Since it has to be bought using a US credit card. Oh well. I'm sure it will be very expensive. If Europe is anything to go by , LG will sell it with a RRP of SG$900+ (€599 in EU, even though it's only €299 in the Play store).
I think I'll be getting mine from Aussie Play store when I'm there in December. Might order 2 and sell one if I can profit from it.
