Untill last week I was able to get it on my Galaxy Nexus 4G but the updated it so that it is incompatable again. I haven't seen a fix for the Galaxy Nexus yet so I wouldn't bet on there being a way to put it on The Razr M.
Personally, I'm done fighting with google. If they don't want to take my money I'll find another app like Square or the Cyanogen Mod app to do it.

The razr m is not supported for Google wallet I tried to side load it yesterday and I would not even install. Got it to install on my Gnex though will see if it works on Thursday.

Complain to the FCC that Verizon is blocking access to the app. The phone meets Google requirements.

What to do with the wrong phone?

So a little while ago I bought a "Droid 2 Global in Black" on Amazon... but it turned out to be a LOCKED CDMA Verizon device. They won't take it back, so I'm stuck with it. I rooted and installed CM7, but I really can't think of a use for this phone. I don't think I want it as a media player or anything.
Any suggestions?

You could donate it.

You can use it as a home phone, land line replacement. Put a google voice number on it and set it up to work over wifi then just leave it at home.
That's what im doing with my droid when I place it.

That's a great idea, but sadly I can't get google voice in Canada.
Same problem with donating I guess. No one around here can use it.

Alot of devs could use a d2g. Even if it's not a working phone.

OK good to know, I will definitely keep it in mind. The phone works great, it's just useless to me since it's locked to Verizon.

I'm sure bikedude880 on rootzwiki would love a spare d2g.

Unfortunately it is not free. There is an in app purchurase, to unloc a key of the app. The funny thing is that for Apple users is free. I personally used the previous version, but Thanks to this I will try a new app to perform this function. Definitely lost a customer and sincerely hope that many others go away to.
Same here... Am enjoying watching the ratings go down for it... people are angry....

How does the anywhere access thing work? If I let's say i go on Vacation do I have to leave my computer on the whole time in order to access it?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Yep to the above.. you have to pay by the month or year for that access.... that is why most people are pissed... try teamviewer...

Yes you have to leave it on.
So does the old splash top HD still work, since that didn't require a monthly fee? Edit: yup still works even over 3G

[A] Solution for Amazon and Xbox Smartglass on N7

I moved Amazon.apk and Xbox smartglass to my nexus and they work. I thought I would post them as a solution for some people who are new to the N7. Is it ok to post them via drop box?

Only if its not a paid apk.

Pretty much if it feels like stealing, or smells like stealing - XDA is not the place for it.
Everything else (if legal) seems OK. XDA is pretty good at self-policing, and if needed the Big Guns come in.

Thanks, I wasn't able to find that out. I guess I wasn't reading thoroughly.

Microsoft Smart glass is free but for some reason Microsoft did not mark the N7 as a compatible device.
Amazon app store and shopping app are both free. Not sure which one that second apk is.
Edit: misread the post but anyways, those two are not paid apps

Amazon hasn't released a tablet version and xbox smartglass won't be available for awhile.

Microsoft surprised everyone and released Smartglass early... so it IS available...
Works fine on Nexus 7, just download the APK above.
thanks for the apk!
The Amazon apk can be downloaded and installed normally via the Amazon App Store. For many, that would be a better option, as they'd still receive updates rather than having to try to keep up with sideloading newer versions.

It was more of a temporary fix than a permanent one.

HTC One to Verizon on May 22

http://androidcommunity.com/verizon-htc-one-talk-returns-as-the-htc-pn073xx-surfaces-20130516/
At least announce it may 22
Its not official yet but it makes complete sense (no pun intended). HTC phone coded HTC PN073XX was spotted and combined with the fact Verizon has listed the DNA free with upgrade, along with the timing it is a logical conclusion.
I am bitter sweet about this. I have the S4 preordered and is suppose to arrive on the 23rd. Add in the fact that I stopped at an ATT store and checked out both devices and am kind of leaning toward the One now. I guess more options are better

The only thing that scares me about this announcement is there is no way vzw allows the bootloader unlock and when the phone comes out HTC remembers that they are "supposed to" lock down the at&t model as well.
If this is all true, I will be back on Verizon that day. Unless legitimate Moto X rumors start rolling out.
I'll be getting it if it does come to vzw. Its time to retire the galaxy nexus. I'm still unsure about the capacitive buttons though. I like the way the nexus is set up.

I saw the Verizon One.
The HTC logo was removed from the bottom and replaced with the Verizon logo. The beats audio logo was also replaced with the 4G LTE logo.

Yes u can install it, but the tap to pay is disabled. I assume this is what the OP is talking about. There is a very extensive thread on Google Wallet here in the G2 forums somewhere.....
ok cool thanks. i'll check it out. would love to be able to use tap to pay still.
