Power and Performance
Galaxy Note II marks the U.S. debut of Samsung’s Exynos™ 1.6 GHz quad-core processor optimized for LTE networks. It has 2GB of internal RAM; and comes with 16GB of onboard file storage and supports up to 64GB of additional memory with a microSD® card. Collectively, these deliver easy multitasking, lightning-fast screen transitions, powerful browser performance and minimal app load time.
The Galaxy Note II is the first Samsung smartphone to launch with Android™ 4.1, Jelly Bean, which brings stunning graphical capabilities and an upgraded Google Now service, including new features such as contextual search. It is also a SAFE-designated device, which means it has additional security features to safe-guard sensitive data and communications.
The Galaxy Note II has a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED™ touchscreen with 16:9 aspect ratio, the standard for true HD video viewing, and comes with a 3,100 mAh battery, which is 24 percent larger than the original Galaxy Note.
Despite the much larger battery, the device weighs slightly less than the original Galaxy Note. As a result of a narrower bezel on all four sides of the screen, the screen is larger but the overall device is narrower. The Galaxy Note II is available in Marble White and Titanium Gray color options.
Create and Collaborate
At the heart of the Galaxy Note II and the ability to create and collaborate is the S Pen™, which has been ergonomically redesigned to provide a more precise and natural writing and drawing experience. The new S Pen can sense 1,024 levels of pressure sensitivity, four times more than the original S Pen.
When the new S Pen is removed from the Galaxy Note II, it automatically launches the S Pen menu, which opens a new home screen that allows one-touch access to most-used S Pen applications. Keeping track of the S Pen is simple now too because a visual and audible alarm appears if you forget to put the S Pen back inside the device.
The S Pen’s advanced features provide the ability to capture ideas, inspiration and information instantly, and to combine handwriting with any digital content directly on the screen, such as adding new calendar appointments by writing the event details directly on the day of the week, signing or adding handwritten notes to an email.so you can just use the spen to write and it will convert it to text
Key applications of the S Pen include:
Easy Clip feature allows you to instantly outline and crop any content on the screen in any shape to save, share or paste. Once done cropping the image, you can freely edit the cropped content through coloring, shading or their own personal handwriting.
Air View allows you to hover with the S Pen over an email, calendar entry, image gallery or video to preview the content without having to open it or wait for screen transitions. This feature also enables you to preview Web site content without opening the full site. Air View provides a title description for unrecognizable icons in various applications.
Quick Command, the S Pen quickly activates applications and services people use most often. The command pad appears with one upward swipe on the screen with the S Pen button pressed down. You can send an email, make a call or search a location with pre-registered and customized S Pen strokes marks made on the command pad.
Idea Sketch allows you to easily add illustrations by handwriting keywords on the S Note. It provides illustration images that match the handwritten keywords. It’s a fancy illustration match function that will allow you to express, organize and visualize ideas in a more innovative and creative way. You can even customize and add in their own illustrations library.
Multitask and Share
The Galaxy Note II takes multitasking to the next level by enabling consumers to launch multiple windows on one screen, including high definition video. Multitasking features include:
Popup Note lets you open an S Note instantly as a pop-up window to jot down a quick note during a phone call, checking email or watching a video.
Popup Video extends the concept of ‘Popup Play.’ While watching a video, with the touch of a button, the video will become a floating window on the display. The video will continue to play and it can be re-sized or repositioned to any part of the Galaxy Note II’s screen. This versatility means that you are free to load other applications beneath it to browse online or work in other apps such as email, calendar or text messaging.
Popup Browser launches a new browser window when you click on a link embedded in an email.
The Galaxy Note II contains many of the popular, real-life content sharing features introduced in June on the Samsung Galaxy S III including:
S Beam: Tap back of Galaxy Note II against another S-Beam-enabled device to share large video files, documents or S Notes in seconds without using data service.
Share Shot: Seamlessly share pictures taken with Galaxy Note II’s 8 megapixel camera to other phones from up to 200 feet away.
Burst Shot/Best Shot: Capture rapid-fire still pictures with zero shutter lag; choose picture with optimal colors, lighting and clarity from Best Shot image recommendations.
AllShare Cast™ and GroupCast™: Both have been expanded on the Galaxy Note II. Share premium video content, mobile games and movies and TV shows from Samsung Media Hub wirelessly with Samsung Smart TVs, laptops, tablets and other consumer electronics

Those are just the cases.. The flip ones that are attached to the removable back cover. They come in many colors, just as they did for the original galaxy note.

I got burned purchasing the Samsung Epic from Sprint and vowed to never purchase their product again but this is looking awfully tempting. I think i may wait to see if the Note 10.1 will have phone capabilities like the one in the UK has. Has any one heard any info on that?

Don't count on any tablet having phone capabilities in the US. the only thing i can think of off the top of my head getting gimped by US carriers was the OG Galaxy Tab 7, the international edition would do phone calls while the T-mobile version would not.

The guy I quoted said he wanted the Galaxy Note II, but might wait and get the Note 10.1 if it could make phone calls.
I didn't even mention the Note II, so what exactly did I misunderstand?

I wonder if the Note2 will not allow you to load Apps onto the SD card like the S3 or if that will be remedied since it's a new OS and archetecture, being the quad core instead of the Snapdragon chip? I'm holding off getting an S3 now in hopes of getting the Note when it first comes out.

samsung introduces the galaxy s iii, the smartphone designed for humans and inspired by nature
may 4, 2012
effortlessly smart and intuitively simple, samsung galaxy s iii reveals a new concept of smartphone
london, uk—may 4, 2012—samsung electronics co., ltd, a global leader in digital media and digital convergence technologies, announced today the third generation galaxy s, the galaxy s iii. designed for humans and inspired by nature, the galaxy s iii is a smartphone that recognizes your voice, understands your intention, and lets you share a moment instantly and easily.
this sleek and innovative smartphone has the enhanced intelligence to make everyday life easier. with samsung galaxy s iii, you can view the content like never before on the device’s 4.8 inch hd super amoled display. an 8mp camera and a 1.9mp front camera offer users a variety of intelligent camera features and face recognition related options that ensure all moments are captured easily and instantly. samsung galaxy s iii is powered by android™ 4.0, ice cream sandwich, with greatly enhanced usability and practicality to make life easier. packed with intuitive technology, the galaxy s iii delivers a uniquely personalized mobile experience that refuses to be compromised.
“with the galaxy s iii, samsung has maximized the consumer benefits by integrating superior hardware with enhanced smartphone usability,” said jk shin, president and head of it & mobile communications division at samsung. “designed to be both effortlessly smart and intuitively simple, the galaxy s iii has been created with our human needs and capabilities in mind. what makes me most proud is that it enables one of the most seamless, natural and human-centric mobile experiences, opening up a new horizon that allows you to live a life extraordinary.”
introducing natural interaction
the galaxy s iii enhances the interaction experience between the device and user. smart enough to detect your face, voice and motions, the galaxy s iii adapts to the individual user to provide a more convenient and natural experience. with the innovative ‘smart stay’ feature, the galaxy s iii recognizes how you are using your phone – reading an e-book or browsing the web for instance – by having the front camera identify your eyes; the phone maintains a bright display for continued viewing pleasure.
the galaxy s iii features ‘s voice,’ the advanced natural language user interface, to listen and respond to your words. in addition to allowing information search and basic device-user communication, s voice presents powerful functions in regards to device control and commands. when your phone alarm goes off but you need a little extra rest, just tell the galaxy s iii “snooze.” you can also use s voice to play your favorite songs, turn the volume up or down, send text messages and emails, organize your schedules, or automatically launch the camera and capture a photo.
in addition to recognizing your face and voice, the galaxy s iii understands your motions to offer maximized usability. if you are messaging someone but decide to call them instead, simply lift your phone to your ear and ‘direct call’ will dial their number. with ‘smart alert,’ the galaxy s iii will also save you from trouble by catching any missed messages or calls; your phone will vibrate to notify missed statuses when picked up after being idle.
easy and instant sharing
the samsung galaxy s iii is more than a personal device that can be enjoyed by one user - it wants you to share and experience smartphone benefits with family and friends, regardless of where you are. with the new ‘s beam,’ the galaxy s iii expands upon android™ beam™, allowing a 1gb movie file to be shared within three minutes and a 10mb music file within two seconds by simply touching another galaxy s iii phone, even without a wi-fi or cellular signal. the ‘buddy photo share’ function also allows photos to be easily and simultaneously shared with all your friends pictured in an image directly from the camera or the photo gallery.
with ‘allshare cast’, users can wirelessly connect their galaxy s iii to their television to immediately transfer smartphone content onto a larger display. ‘allshare play’ can be also used to instantly share any forms of files between galaxy s iii and your tablet, pc, and televisions regardless of the distance between the devices. under allshare play is also the ‘group cast’ feature that allows you to share your screen among multiple friends on the same wi-fi network; you can make comments and draw changes at the same time with your co-workers, witnessing real-time sharing on your individual device.
human-centric design with uncompromised performance
the galaxy s iii not only presents features with enhanced usability, but also provides an ergonomic and comfortable experience through its human-centric design. its comfortable grip, gentle curves, and organic form deliver a rich human-centric feel and design. inspired by nature, its design concept is the flow and movement of nature. the elements of wind, water and light are all evoked in the physical construct of the galaxy s iii. in its essence, the minimal organic design identity is reflected in the smooth and non-linear lines of the device. available in pebble blue and marble white at launch, samsung will introduce a variety of additional color options.
with a 4.8” hd super amoled display, the galaxy s iii offers a large and vivid viewing experience. samsung mobile’s heritage super amoled display even enhances to hd and 16:9 wider viewing angles. to ensure faster content sharing and connectivity, the galaxy s iii offers wi-fi channel bonding which doubles the wi-fi bandwidth.
the galaxy s iii also sports a range of additional features that boost performance and the overall user experience in entirely new ways. it introduces ‘pop up play,’ a feature that allows you to play a video anywhere on your screen while simultaneously running other tasks, eliminating the need to close and restart videos when checking new emails or surfing the web. its 8mp camera features a zero-lag shutter speed that lets you capture moving objects easily without delay – the image you see is the picture you take. with the ‘burst shot’ function that instantly captures twenty continuous shots, and the ‘best photo’ feature that selects the best of eight photographs for you, the galaxy s iii ensures users a more enhanced and memorable camera experience. hd video can be recorded even with the 1.9mp front-facing camera, which you can use to capture a video of yourself. improved backside illumination further helps to eliminate blur in photos that result from shaking, even under low lights.
mobile payment is also accessible with the device through advanced near field communication (nfc) technology. the gaming experience is enhanced through ‘game hub,’ providing access to numerous social games, while video hub brings users high quality tv and movies. furthermore, samsung music hub will offer a personal music streaming service. game hub, video hub and music hub will be introduced in select countries initially and soon rolled out to global markets.
the samsung galaxy s iii will be available from the end of may in europe before rolling out to other markets globally.

Wasn´t the Nexus S close to us$800? After the insane success of the GS2 it wouldn´t surprise me at all if this phone would cost something like us$850...which would probably drive me towards the HTC One X or a Skyrocket HD LTE.

Shame it has no 802.11ac wireless support, with routers now coming out that have this new wireless technology, next gen phones like the S3 should support it.

why ?
is 450 mbps not fast enough ? i highly doubt you have that speed on your internet connection.
anyways even 450 mbps is not the actual speed, on my sgs2 i get around ~30 mbit and that is fine, i do have a 100 mbit internet connection, but 30 is fine for the phone.

Singapore's review on it...
Samsung's new Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet is demonstrated in New York. (AP Photo/Mark Lennihan)
When the original 5-inch Galaxy Note was first announced, it was harshly criticized for its larger-than-usual size as well as its stylus, an accessory that was rendered mostly obsolete by the advent of capacitive touchscreen displays. Samsung ultimately sold millions of the device, proving that there's a market for humongous phones. Today, the company officially launched the Galaxy Note 10.1, and just like its predecessor, early reviews of the device are mixed at best — Engadget's Joseph Volpe even bluntly says that "the Note 10.1 looks and feels kind of cheap" with its plasticky design.
The 10.1-inch Note runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with Samsung's Touchwiz skin on top. It's designed to be even more artist-friendly than the original Note: It still comes with the S Pen stylus that fits snugly inside a dock, and it now has 1,024 levels of pressure sensitivity thanks to Wacom technology. The new Note is better at detecting if your palm is resting on the screen so it make the marks you make with your hand disappear as soon as it detects the S Pen.
Drawing on the 10.1-inch Note is obviously more comfortable than drawing on its relatively smaller predecessor. But as you might've guessed, even with the increased levels of sensitivity, you can't exactly replace your dedicated graphics tablet with it. Reviewers complain of missed presses and lines drawn, and accuracy is a constant problem. As Wired's Nathan Olivarez-Giles puts it, the S Pen and the S Note app are fun to use and are good enough for casual doodling, but a "pencil or pen and a sheet of paper remain the better option for professional-grade work" in the absence of professional graphics tablets.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 has a relatively low-res screen — especially when compared to the new iPad's Retina display — at 1280 x 800 pixels, but PCWorld's Melissa J. Perenson, in particular, thinks Samsung might have done something to boost the new Note's display. "The sharpness and color of images is dramatically better than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, and my high-resolution images in the Google Gallery had sharpness and detail that came close to what you'd find on the high-pixel density displays," she writes.
One unique feature that's garnered generally positive feedback is the tablet's multiscreen function that gives you the power to split the screen between two apps. The downside is that the feature is limited to merely a handful of apps — just six, in fact. As Mashable's Peter Pachal says, though, it's still a "pretty cool trick, and it's great that Samsung ensured it works with the video player." Anyone who's ever used a tablet for more than just casual web browsing or content streaming can tell you that it's a nightmare trying to multitask on a tablet, so for a device that's focused on drawing, multiscreen is a great addition.
Other than the features mentioned above, the 10.1-inch Note also has an infrared blaster that turns it into a fancy remote control thanks to the Peel app, 2GB of RAM, a 1.4GHz quad-core processor, and a microSD card slot. These features sound great, but at $499 for the 16GB version, the Note 10.1 costs as much as the new iPad with 16GB storage, and far more than the universally lauded $199 8GB Nexus 7 that already comes with Android's newest operating system. Its price is the very reason why many reviewers think you should focus your tablet-buying eyes elsewhere.
"At $499, meanwhile, there are a host of other tablets with sharper displays, equal or greater built-in storage, and quad-core CPUs," Volpe says. Gizmodo's Brent Rose agrees and even advises people not to get to 10.1-inch Note at all: "The only possible exception would be a graphic designer absolutely convinced that the S Pen can be tamed... At a $500 starting price, this is a very clear pass for everyone else... the majority of things on this device don't work as well as they are supposed to."
Pachal, however, believes there could be a market for the new Note: "[T]he Galaxy Note 10.1 isn't really an iPad alternative; it's more of a tablet specialist — the tablet you go to when you need something very specific, which in this case is drawing, note-taking and multitasking. Just like you wouldn't go to a general practicioner for surgery, you don't get an Apple product if you want to use a stylus. You get the Galaxy Note 10.1. For anyone who ever wanted the digital equivalent of a legal pad, there's nothing better."

Is the note2 what we all thought the phablet gona come, or is this the one rumored
The resolution of this device is a pity considering the screen size. Definitely not gonna buy it for the time being as it's really not worth spending my money for. Probably will buy it in 1 year to add it to my collection.....

NOTE 2
NOTE 2!!!!!!!!!!
If you watch videos during long train, subway rides regularly, playing video will even be a major leap, than a minor one.
Because of the Galaxy Note 1's 16:10 resolution, if you prefer video to be uncropped, you only used 4.77" of Galaxy Note 1's 5.3" screen when playing a 16:9 resolution video. Pretty much all TV shows and movies are encoded in this resolution today.
However, on the Galaxy Note 2, you will be using all 5.5" to play 16:9 video.
That is 0.73" gained diagonally when playing video. Very significant. But again, only if you don't like cropping to fill the Galaxy Note 1 screen. I personally hate cropping and have never cropped a video on my free will in my life so this is a big deal.

This is for the International version right? I really hope all versions have 1700 mHz support. Or that T-mobile has its 1900 mHz network up by the time I get this phone (if I ever do).
The Note 2 also has a backlit sensor like the GS3 but unlike the first Note.
Given the similarities with the GS3, it seems likely the Note 2 comes with the Wolfson DAC but I haven't seen any confirmation of this.
I can count a total of 10 improvements (11 if you are interested in the 64GB model):
Edit: Supercurio has confirmed the Wolfson DAC which makes it the 11th hardware improvement on each Note 2.
1. Quadcore
2. More RAM
3. Bigger battery
4. Improved Spen
5. Gorilla Glass 2
6. NFC
7. RGB pixel arrangement
8. Notification light
9. Bluetooth 4
10 Backlit sensor
11 Wolfson DAC
Overall I think it's an impressive upgrade and I am not sure why some people were unhappy. I think there was some disappointment with the reduced resolution but it's just a 7% reduction in DPI and is more than compensated by the newer pixel arrangement. And we haven't even mentioned all the software goodies.

Sweet. I wasn't aware of the RGB pixel arrangement until you mentioned it. Everyone just assumed pentile from day 1 and I hadn't heard it was different since. Thanks for pointing that out. Now I want the Galaxy Note 2 even more.

Thanks - updated 1st post.
There's no reason not to call it RGB since each white pixel has an R, G, and B subpixel.

Consumer Reports scores GNote as high as iPad 3.

This post is not to start a pointless "GNote is better than iPad" flame war. For what it intends to do, the iPad is an excellent product. Until I got my GNote, I was jealous of my wife's iPad 3 (maybe that's partially because I had a Thinkpad Tablet... fellow TPT owners will understand, ha ha).
I'm offering this against the myriad of scathingly bad reviews of the GNote, many of them from arguably pro-Apple sites. Consumer Reports prides itself on being an independent consumer research agency. As most of you probably know, they accept no promotional considerations for any product they test. Each review is based upon a unit/item which their staff bought 'off the shelf' at a local or online retailer, not a free unit from the vendor. And they do not sell ads, again to avoid any influence on their ratings.
So, if you want to reference a very good review for your GNote from an organization which has good credibility, here your are...
In their review of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, Consumer Reports scores the GNote as an overall 83 points out of 100, the same as the iPad 3. It is the first tablet to equal the iPad in their reports.
In the overall scoring categories of portability, ease of use, versatility, touch response, and size, the GNote and iPad were rated equivalently as 'excellent' or 'very good' in each case. Only in display rating did the iPad best the GNote, with a mark of 'excellent' to the GNote's 'very good.'
The only con ("Low") they noted was that at $500, it is at the more expensive end of the scale.
Here is the URL for the review, but you may need to login as a subscriber to access the full review. I've pasted the text from the review below the link. I've also attached a screenshot of their side-by-side scoring of the GNote vs. the iPad.

Reviews & Recommended - Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (Wi-Fi, 16 GB)
CR's Take
The Galaxy Note 10.1 is very innovative and fun to use. It comes with a stylus, recognizes handwriting, and can multitask, unlike other tablets. But because some of its most useful apps aren't very intuitive, expect to spend a good amount of time getting up to speed. Battery life was very long.
Highs
• 1.4 GHz 4-core processor
• Battery life longer than most
• Very good display quality
• Screen coating reduces fingerprints and makes cleaning easier.
• Voice-typing feature
• Keyboard can use "Swype" entry method
• Can be a remote control for TVs or other A-V devices
• GPS mapping
• 5-megapixel camera, higher resolution than most
• Screen uses high-durability "Gorilla glass"
• File manager preinstalled
• Full access to the Google app market
• Photos can fill entire screen height
Lows
• At $500, relatively expensive
Detailed test results
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (Wi-Fi, 16 GB) was easy to use for a wide variety of functions. It was easy to move from screen to screen using finger swipes, and to move app icons among screens. Samsung includes an enhanced user-interface. Home screens have useful custom widgets. The on-screen keyboard may be used in "Swype" mode to type by sliding between letters.
Photos can be displayed full height without interference from the navigation bar. Turning from portrait to landscape while reading a book worked well. A voice-typing feature lets you dictate emails and text documents. You can sync and transfer files to and from a PC using USB. A built-in file manager app makes it easy to transfer files from a memory card.
The display quality was very good overall. Colors were accurately reproduced, realistic, and natural-looking because they were undersaturated. The screen was among the brightest we've measured and readability in sunlight was good. Viewing angle was quite wide in landscape orientation, making it easy to view photos or video with another person. Viewing angle was quite wide in portrait orientation, making it easy to share the screen with another person.
Touch response was excellent. The capacitive touchscreen responds to a light finger touch, and allows multiple fingers to perform gesture actions. Moving objects and using finger gestures is easy and precise. Icons were easy to move and place precisely. A special coating on the screen resists fingerprints and makes cleaning easier.
This tablet has a very good set of useful features that make it convenient and versatile to use - see the "About" section for more details. There is full access to the Google app market, with a large and varied selection of apps. There is also access to a large media market through Google, for downloading movies, music and books. The tablet can send pictures, video and music to another "DLNA" (Digital Living Network Alliance) capable home entertainment device, such as a TV. You can program the tablet to act as a remote control for home entertainment products like TVs and receivers.
There are a variety of sensors to provide positional and environmental info to apps and games. These include a global positioning system (GPS) receiver to locate the user geographically and allow the use of navigation apps, an accelerometer to give motion feedback to apps, a gyroscope to give rotational feedback to apps, a magnetic compass to give directional feedback, and an ambient light sensor to reduce the screen brightness to extend battery time. There's a stylus included to enable handwriting, precise drawing, or using the tablet with gloves.
This is among the most portable tablets in the 9- to 12-inch category. Its battery life of 11.1 hours lets you use it all day without recharging. It's very slim and compact for its screen size, and at 1.3 pounds, it's a very lightweight tablet for its size.
About - Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (Wi-Fi, 16 GB)
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (Wi-Fi, 16 GB) is a larger tablet computer with a 10.1-inch screen. It has a screen resolution of 1280 x 800, which is typical for its size. The rectangular screen is a better shape for videos than for photos, and it utilizes toughened Gorilla Glass for durability.
The tablet has a 1.4 GHz Samsung Exynos processor with 4 cores. It runs on the Android 4 operating system. It has 2GB memory and is available with 16 or 32GB storage. You can add an Micro SD memory card for more storage.
There is a headphone jack with a volume control, a built-in microphone, and stereo speakers. Internet connectivity is via Wi-Fi. It has a 1.9-megapixel webcam, and a 5-megapixel camera with a flash.
The tablet measures 10.3 inches long by 7.1 inches wide by 0.37 inches thick, and weighs 1.3 pounds.

Yes my dear fellow, I do understand you very well, me too .
Actually Samy should pay to Lenovo for encouraging us TPT owners (by bad Android implementation) to buy GNote 10.1. Or at least to make some "switch" advertising, would be very funny.
I love the SGN10.1 from a hardware standpoint; however, much of their software (S-Note I am looking at you), doesn't seem well-thought through and half-done. Hopefully the JB OTA will improve upon this.
I suppose my biggest issue is that the things which would make S-Note truly amazing are not revolutionary or dramatic. They simply need to implement features already found in competing products as well as a few new ideas.

The difference is that CR views things from a populist perspective. The tech media are snobs and think the masses make decisions based on CPU, GPU, and benchmarks. You'll notice CR used adjectives rather than benchmarks to describe performance. The Note's an all-around great tablet and the S-features provide a lot of real-world benefits and improve usability. When talking to non-techie's about which tablet to buy I say many of the same things to them CR wrote. And while not FHD, the Note's display is the best I've ever seen on a 10' tablet when it comes to color reproduction and accuracy. And that includes the TF700's higher res display.
I'm really getting tired of the price/value double standard that gets used by reviewers.
The cheapest current generation iPad is 16GB for $499. You can get last year's model for $399 - but you can also get a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 for $399...
The Note 10.1 is $549 ($499 in Canada) and has 32GB of storage, which would cost $599.
Yet, for some reason, if any tablet OTHER than the iPad comes in at $500... it's too expensive. You never hear anyone call the iPad 'too expensive'.
Retina display? Fair enough - Note has Wacom digitiser.
In every other way the Note meets or exceeds the iPad's specs.
Simply put, the Note 10.1 is a better VALUE at a comparablet price than the iPad.

[REVIEW] Lenovo K3 Note

Lenovo's K3 Note is one of the newest Lenovo's smartphones. This budget 4G Android Lollipop device has 5.5-inch Full HD screen and octa-core processor. I purchased one for myself to figure out if it is as good as it looks like.
Specs
4G
Android 5.0
MTK6752, 64bit 1.7GHz Cortex A53 octa-core processor
5.5-inch IPS Full HD (1920x1080) Screen
16GB ROM (about 10GB free space)
Micro-SD support up to 32GB
2GB RAM
3000mAh battery
Wifi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0
Dual SIM
Design
Lenovo K3 Note has simple but elegant design. The phone is available with white and yellow back cover, I have white one. The rest of the phone is shiny black. Silver colored power button and volume buttons are on the right side of the phone. Unlike the most of the phones, K3 Note has its micro USB port on top next to the 3.5mm earphone port. Phone's large 5.5-inch IPS screen is clear and you can watch videos and pictures with good quality because of the 1920x1080 resolution.

Performance
K3 Note's processor is 1.7GHz 64-bit octa-core (MTK MT6752) and the phone has 2GB of RAM. That sounds good considering the price of the device and it really is awesome. I ran Antutu benchmark on the phone and the result was surprising. The score was over 45000. It means that this phone beats for example OnePlus One, Samsung Galaxy S5 and Google Nexus 5 in this test. Only very few phone models has got higher score than this. I was able to notice the excellent performance while using the device: everything works like clockwork, smoothly and steadily. I can play all the newest games on the phone with no lag at all.
Software
Android 5.0 is running very smoothly on this phone. Multitasking works nicely and new cool notification bar and lock screen notifications as well. Google Play and some other Google apps are pre-installed on Lenovo K3 Note, but it also has some other pre-installed apps that someone might dislike. I personally just ignored them. In addition to Android 5.0 K3 Note has Lenovo Vibe 2.5. It brings some new features to the phone as well as takes something away. I want to highlight some awesome features that K3 Note has. First one is gestures: For example the screen can be turned on by double tapping it or you can snap a picture while screen is off by double-pressing the volume up/down buttons. Second one is smart switching. You can make you phone for instance go silent mode or turn the GPS off when your phone connects certain wifi or at the time when you go to sleep.
Cameras
Lenovo K3 Note has two cameras: 13MP back camera and 5MP front camera. Both cameras take very high quality pictures in both low and high light. Front camera records 1080p video with 30 frames per second. I took some sample photos to show you how well the cameras of this phone works. Please notice that pictures may have been damaged in upload process.
Summary
I am absolutely satisfied with my Lenovo K3 Note. I have a phone with a good performance, large and high quality screen, very good cameras, long-lasting battery, newest Android and lot of space for apps and media. I bought my device from Pandawill and I'm satisfied with the service and fast shipping. Pandawill wanted to offer you a coupon for Lenovo K3 Note. You can get 10$ off by using coupon code Lenovok3 (expiration date 23.5.2015).
If you have any questions, just ask it and I will answer as soon as possible. Thanks for reading the review!
Edit:
Pictures are invisible for everyone but me (I guess) for some reason. I had uploaded the pictures on my xda-developers gallery and then linked them here but they aren't shown. You can see them here for now until I get this fixed.
Edit 2: Now everybody should be able to see every single picture.
Does this phone have touch key backlight?
how about its sound ? it is ok !
Hi!
There is no touch key light but it is ok in my opinion. And I have nothing bad to say about the sound quality, I think it is surprisingly good.
Hi, i want this phone really bad, but i need some help. Some sellers put in the desription that this phone (k50-t5) has wcdma 850/900/1900/2100 and others only 900/2100 , can someone enter into engineer mode and check the 3g bands?? I can live wihtout 4g but not wihtout 3g
Thanks!!!
will this phone work on t-mobile in the US? looks like it doesnt support all of the LTE bands, but not entirely sure.
Lenovo K3 Note Network Selection
Thanks for Your Post..
But There is one question.? Can i select Only and only 2G in both sim or may me in sim 1 which is 4G/3G one more thing (Not 3G)because i am so far from City so there is problem of 3G signal even i cannot get 3G signal.. i had one phone when i put in 3G/2G (Auto Mode) then my phone battery discharge quickly .so i worry about 3G Signal So i prefer only 2G signal... so could you help me for solving this problem..??

For the game problems, download the stable vibe ui, i made a test on it, and the cpu has the best stable clocks on it.

Lenovo's K3 Note is one of the newest Lenovo's smartphones. This budget 4G Android Lollipop device has 5.5-inch Full HD screen and octa-core processor. I purchased one for myself to figure out if it is as good as it looks like.
I have one but have probSpecs
4G

Edit:
Pictures are invisible for everyone but me (I guess) for some reason. I had uploaded the pictures on my xda-developers gallery and then linked them here but they aren't shown. You can see them here for now until I get this fixed.
Edit 2: Now everybody should be able to see every single picture.[/QUOtt
