I visited a local mobile vendor in Chicago (not going to say which one) to get my gNote last October. His first batch had just come in and they all sitting on the floor to be boxed and shipped out.
I showed him CA$H and said I wanted one of them now! He stopped boxing and said "EF IT! I already got this guys money! He'll have to wait for the next batch." and he took the other guy's preorder receipt off the box, took my CA$H and sold his Note to ME!! :angel:

By the time it ships it will be <$400.
Plus delivery times after that, I've had weird shipping time total from deal places like that and 1sale ect, almost a month after purchased.
Never ordered from them but I read up on these places and it's known they take 2 weeks plus to ship anything or never ship or **** defective things...

The Gnex has dropped a lot in the past month. I was thinking of getting one in February and the cheapest was around $600. I know the quad phones coming up are tempting, but the Nexus S i9023 is still around $350 new.

AFAIK, best buy will not get them on the 3rd, it can take 3-5 days for them to receive their drop shipment from the supply warehouse. This was my experience when I was looking into getting the tab s on the day they were supposed to be released. It may not be the case with every item at best buy though.

I hope this isn't a repost, but I have yet to see any post about the status of Google Play Store Nexus 9 Preorders and I figured it would be great to have a thread to consolidate this information when it becomes available.
I preordered a 32GB WiFi Nexus 9 in Black on Wednesday, and it still says shipping on November 3. I saw that Best Buy started to send out tracking information already so I was wondering if anyone has received tracking info for Play Store preorders yet.
The Play Store has an estimated ship date of 1-2 business days now, so hopefully that means everything will ship out smoothly and on time.
I'm hoping they have them in store so I can just swing by and get one on the way home from work tomorrow.

look on your email receipt from google. click on the status and it will tell you all that info.
i pre ordered this nex on oct 20. shows shipping from warehouse on the 3rd also.

I simply does not make sense for me to purchase a phone at full retail through the GPS or Motorola, when I have no intentions of leaving Sprint. If I know where I'm going to be for the next two years, why spend more money? I'm not saying that other people are wrong to buy the phone outright, but why put down the rest of us for doing something that works for us?

A little clarity would be helpful, as to when you got approved, etc.
You have yours approved? The day the offer came out I ordered mine and sent in the rebate but they called me a week later saying I needed to wait for the phone to ship in be activated before they would look at my rebate form so I re-submitted it on the 17th of March when I got the phone and I haven't gotten mine approved yet ;-;.
