Top cm9/10 themes for nexus 7 - Nexus 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I was just Wondering if anyone knows of any good themes cause all I've been finding is bad themes that don't seem to theme apps at all and don't seem to be compatible with the nexus 7 4.1.1 jellybean.

There is a thread in Themes and Apps for this. I like Lucid the best by Sonny S - love the transparent black themeing on pop up boxes etc.

Theme chooser keyboard not applying

Does anyone know how to get the themed keyboard to apply from theme chooser themes? Somehow I saw it working on several different themes but no matter what I do I cant get it to stick.

I am experiencing this problem as well. I have looked all over the internet, and so far, you are the only one that has even mentioned this issue. Have you been able to find a solution?

Multi user and themes not working together well

Hello,
I just got my nexus 7 for Christmas and I rooted it. So far I've gone through Smoothrom, Paranoid Android and now I'm on CM10. I kept switching because I was having an issue with multiuser. Whenever I have a theme applied, specifically Goog Le Bean, any second user I set up won't work. If I switch to it there is just endless force closes. Is this something sort of known issue? Is there a workaround? I'd really like to use a theme and multiuser.

Worth noting, I have tried installing the theme on both users, and I was going to set the theme on both users but I noticed you don't have the option on the second user.
Same result, everything force closes. I've tried setting up the account, then changing the theme, and also tried having the account set up after I apply the theme.
Bump
Is nobody else having this problem? I can't find anything in Google.

I have the same problem...
Could not find any suggestions....
via nexus7
I'm also having issues with all Roms I've tried...
The main user is normal but any other user gives me a message saying the themes provider has stopped...
Can someone share some light for this issue?

Theme chooser support for multi users is not fixed yet on ALL custom roms. Unfortunately you'll need to use the system theme if you want to use multiple users at this time. Or just stick with one user and theme away!
When it is fixed, it will surely be clear as day in all the rom's op's as this is a very known issue.

Thanks for your reply... Hopefully they'll fix it soon...

[Q] Cant find Themes category in Paranoid Android 3.97

Hey.
So I cant find the option to change system themes under the settings menu...
I've seen there should be an option "themes" under Customization, but all Im seeing is Toolbars options, hybrid and lock screen..
Cant find any option to change themes =/
Gapps is 4.3.
Am I doing anything wrong?
Theme engine has been removed, due to 4.3 borking things. Miles has mentioned an alternative, not sure on its status though.

Does nobody read anything before flashing a ROM?

Why you don't read the OP, or search using google? Its faster than waiting for an answer

Nexus LG theme

I know LG let's us theme this device but they only have two themes stock. Anyone seen or made a compatible nexus theme yet? Or even just some other themes besides the two that come with it or the five that are with the Optimus G PRO?
Love the G2 but would like to be able to customize at the touch of a button!

Install Nova Beta.
Exactly the same only thing is that the bars are transparant.

Yeah, I thought it was a stupid move on Google's part to exclude this feature from the Nexus 4 as well as others.
If you are running Android 4.4 KitKat on your Nexus 4 go to this website, follow instructions. It should be pretty straight forward

Those launchers (including nexus 5 launcher) make header and footer transparent only on home screen and applications list screen. Black bars are most annoying when you're reading messages or documents, surfing internet, etc.. I really don't care about home screen. Is there any better way to get rid of this?
No, and that's how it is on the Nexus 5 as well.
