[Q] Nexus 7 - Android Phone Photo sharing? - Nexus 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi All,
Just got my Nexus 7 and all I can say is I am loving it.
I have an HTC DHD phone and I wish to store my camera shots online and then view them on my Nexus 7.
What are you guys using to do this. I have a Dropbox account and have just got google drive.
I would rather not use my Dropbox as I try to keep this for work only.
I have set up a google drive and copied some photos on to is but on the android app I can see file names and would see thumbnails.
My overall vision......
Use my phone camera for taking piccies.
Back these up to a cloud (only with Wifi (setting is important for me))
View thumbnails of photos on Nexus - download if required.
Any thoughts for best option?

Google+ with Instant Upload. That's how I do it. It's automatic.

You can send photos back and forth using bluetooth

[Q] IHeartRadio & Dropbox problems

Has anyone gotten these 2 apps to work on your hd2? The apps run, but data never connects...for iheartradio, it just sits on connecting...for dropbox, it won't let me log in...

[Q] unable to access xda developers from GNote and other issues

I got 2 main issues:
1) I cannot access XDA developers from my note, regardless of the browser I use.
2) I suddenly noticed that a large number of photos that I never uploaded or synced appeared on my GNote. I suspect they were downloaded either from Google+ or Picassa, I'm not sure.
a) How can I ensure I don't download automatically from any apps that I install?
b) How do I get rid of the files? This is more complicated because they appear in my Gallery under "Instant upload", but I cannot find that folder anywhere on my GNote (mind you, I don't have a file browser that allows me to do a search)
c) why can I not delete images via the my gallery app? sounds kinda moronic to me. a gallery app should have a 'delete function, in fact I consider it a mandatory function...
Any suggestions?
You need to check couple things first settings accounts Google untick photos picasso

Try using xda in market place

Given the strange behaviour of your browser downloading an anti virus software and performing a scan would no be wrong.

[Q] Facebook crash while sharing instant upload photo

Howdy! I'm new to this forum as I just got an N7 for Christmas (got one for my kids too) but I've been lurking on XDA for a while with my Nexus One and HOX.
Facebook is crashing on my N7 when I try to share a pic from the Gallery that the N7 sees as an Instant Upload from my HOX via Google+. I'm not sure if this is known issue or not - I tried the search and did not see anything similar. Sharing a pic that is local on the N7 works just fine. I'm guessing it's not really an "issue", just more like the way it is as the Instant Upload image is not locally stored on the device. But one would think that if the option is there it should work. I've not rooted or anything (yet - not sure if there's a need right now).
Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this? If it should be considered an issue, is it an issue for Facebook or an issue for Google?
Just to test, I was able to upload an Instant Upload pic to Instagram just fine. Must be a Facebook issue.

Google plus will upload private mode pictures

I need to get this independently verified enable auto picture backup on Google + then hide some pics and they will show up later in your Google plus photo section- mine seemed to ?

Gallery Problem - Android 5.0.1

I have searched the web, no one seems to have this problem?
So since the new gallery app, I think it came with Android 5. Whenever I download an image, from web or from Google drive it is blurred in the gallery, it is also blurred when I load it up full screen.
I have disabled 'Auto Enhance' I am not sure what this does but thought it could be the problem, this has made no difference. I have to edit every picture I download from my google drive, and enhance the 'deatil' option and 'sharpening' to fix each one. I don't want to be doing this as this is no doubt a drop in quality.
I also experience this problem on my Nexus 7 same android version. However my Nexus 10 does not seem to be doing the same, or if it is it is a lot less apparent. maybe just due to the higher resolution and screen size.
Any help would be appreciated....
Has no one got any ideas on this? I could post it in nexus 10 and 7 threads to, but don't really want to spam the forum.

Did you try to do wipe data and cache of this new gallery as well as the hidden folder /sdcard/DCIM/.thumbnails?
If that didn't work for you, you could try KitKat's gallery app or a completely different one ( see Play Store)
Happy new year, by the way
Yup, having this same problem with my Nexus 4 running Android 5.0.1
Screen captures are also blurry and pictures transferred from computer to phone are same.
Any solution would be helpful
same problem
I used to have the same problem in 5.0 . I even confirmed with quick pic and some other gallery. Ever since i updated to 5.0.1 problem seems to be resolved. Still searching for a good gallery app. The apps i for from play store are way too slow.
