Yeah your one of my best friends on XDA as well, but i wont be leaving xda just N1 community, but i will remain active in Off-Topic/Lumia 800 forums. I actually considered the Sensation, but fell in love with windows phone

I remember when we had our herocs you and fixxer got into it lol. I think the both of you got temp banned (or just him) and ol fixxer came back as smoother hahaha. I don't remember exactly how it happened but it was funny.

Welcome aboard, themes and apps, general, q&a, and general are for either phone. The development section is split for 4g and the nexus s for obvious reasons. Congratulations on your move, I'm sure you'll be satisfied with the speed increase leaving sense behind among other things

sorry just vanilla android, which is what you have before all the manufacturers put the unneeded skin and fiddle with the frame works to make their phones different from one another(these same modification also hinder the speed up that their phones can be updated from each android release)
Its funny actually all these great developers here can get the source code the day its out make a almost fully functioning rom/port while these big name companies stumble around for god knows how long to make an update when they have full access to the drivers and such
While I will admit from froyo to gingerbread was nothing monumental in way of adding lots functionality but security updates those were needed(still waiting to use my nfc to buy sodas from teh coke machines in the mall though)

welcome, and you have definitely made a good choice, it will last you forever, or until some accident happens
this is the best phone you can get at the moment, with the most development going on around it
however the only shortcoming of this phone is the missing MicroSD support.

Hey people I'm new to posting at xda ... I bought my EVO 4g about a year ago and within a week came onto xda n learned how to root it... Then learned to flash roms, kernels, themes... Witch was hard cause i didn't know any of my friends that was doing this kind of stuff ...so all i had was xda and YouTube ... And Ill have to say xda is a awesome site and all the devs are very talented people .... Well thanks for reading and ill put some screen shots up ....

Well I finally got fed up with sprint since they decided to change our contract and charge me for the free line on my family share plan. I have switch over to Verizon and I now have a galaxy nexus. I just wanted to say buy and thanks to all the developers for all the hard work. This was a good community and everyone on here are great people. Especially swamp goblin and mobile_sensei. I still have my nexus s 4g so I can help with testing if anyone want me to help . If anyone have questions on rooting or anything like that feel free to pm me. Thanks again everyone.

I knew about it but I can't deal with sprints crappy ass network getting worse and making me pay more money on top of that. I'm very happy with my switch and loving my phone. Once sprint fixes those network issues I may come back but for now I'm food where am at.

i agree with u 100% , ive been considering the move too just havent really decided where to go yet.
I've been working testing and working on a couple of HD games on x8 and failed many times...so now...i've decided to buy a better phone than x8...well,goodbye x8
Even I'm thinking of buying Live, its the same price as X8 when I bought it!And of-course better specs!
My uncle bought the Live 2 days ago....good phone, nice look and feel but not better than my Nexus S(ofcourse, the range does matter).
My dad bought a live a month ago
