Because I use Touch recovery..it will not work on the other recoveries...
flash the recovery via Odin and Flash the ROM..
then you can flash back the other recovery on the top of it to have your backups..
[Edit] try it on your current recovery once..I think it will work as it uses Edify scripts..do let me know so that I can edit the OP

Why dont you try flashing a stock firmware via Odin first without bootloader checked and second time with bootloader option checked..then flash any other ROM..it is know to cure Wifi problems when moving with leaked JB ROMS..

WiFi is working just fine here

You can install stock roms in their tar form using mobile odin. It's by chain fire and there's a free version on xda

Do we have official clockworkmod recovery?

Got an update notification from the Play Store on rom manager app and then the newest update it says supports Loki. When you open rom manager and go to set up recovery it actually has the AT&T galaxy s4 in there. I was wondering if anybody use it or it safe to use?

Ram manager has always caused for issues then it has been worth. I would stick to doing things manually. This way if something goes wrong you know it was something you did.

If you don't want to use rom manager do it manually. It looks like standard and touch are both available.

The download files are Zip's. You'll need to flash them in a custom recovery, ie twrp or cwm. Do some more research before you flash anything. This thread isn't very good for someone not familiar with flashing.

Read up first. Odin is for installing stock firmware. There are no short cuts. Plenty of threads on this.

The img files are used in goo. I'd download the zip file, recoveries on the download page and flash that in my recovery. That assumes you have a custom recovery and you want to update it.

[FIX] Rooting Of Galaxy Grand GT-I9082

Originally posted by Chotu222 and KSHHH
In this thread I am not going to show you how to root your GT-I9082. This post is for those buddies who are not able to get the Custom CWM Recovery Mode even after properly flashing the CWM via Odin.
Okay! So now to begin with - first of all download the "Fix-Recovery.zip" from the link given below and place it in your ext. sd card (Remember it should be external memory and not the phone memory). Now, this time when you flash your CWM via Odin do not check the "Auto Reboot". After the CWM gets flashed and you see the word PASS in your Odin just remove the battery from your phone and now enter the CWM Recovery Mode.
Now in the CWM Recovery Mode install the zip "Fix-Recovery.zip" by choosing "install zip from sd card". Now also install "UPDATE-SuperSu-v1.25.zip". Now reboot your phone.
Thats all. I hope you have successfully installed the CWM Recovery and rooted your phone!
Senior Developers as this is my first thread i thought of posting a revised thread in a detailed form. Please comment below to guide me if I went wrong somewhere.
:good::good::good:Hit Thanks If I Helped:good::good::good:
Download Fix-Recovery.zip from here.

How did you install it? Via ROM manager (free or paid version)? If you used ROM manager free version you get only the version without touch... alternatively you can download the touch version from website and then flash it using galaxy s4 flasher for free from play store...

Where did you get the recovery? As far as I know recoveries of official cwm site are in .IMG format thus you can't flash them through custom recovery because you can only flash .zip files. I downloaded 6.0.3.6 from cwm site (touch version) and then flashed it via SGS4 flasher and it worked well..I didn't try 6.0.3.8 but it should also work....I will try it later and then I will report the results.....

Yes it appears to be broken on the S4. I build the recovery myself and created a flashable zip but the touch function doesn't work.
