After Careful Analysis of Trends and Rumors, here is what I think of the S3 / Note 2!

Well, after cross-referencing other sources, it is very well likely for the below specifications to appear on new models this year. Applicable to S3 and Note 2. - Cheers!
Next Month Samsung will be announcing who knows, how many new devices. One of the expected models is the Galaxy S3 and possibly, Note 2.
I can say the S3 will have the following after doing a careful analysis of trends and rumors,
4.5" SAMOLED HD Pentile or RGB/Plus Display with 3D (also known as Super AMOLED III) with 1280x720 Resolution, Lotus Glass
1.5 GHz Quad Core Processor 32nm (Exynos 4412 with Mali T604)
2gb LPDDR2, DDR2 or DDR3 Ram (Dual Channel)
16 or 12 Megapixel Lens Rear Camera (Samsung Technology)
3.2 Megapixel Front Camera with Face Detection
16gb or 32gb Built in Memory Expandable up to 64GB
Bluetooth 4.0
Built In NFC
Ice Cream Sandwich
2000mAh Battery
HzO Technology--water-proof technology
ETA--Late Spring, 2012

I can say the Note 2 will have the following after doing a careful analysis of trends and rumors,
5.3" SAMOLED HD Pentile Display with 3D (also known as Super AMOLED III) with 1280x800 Resolution, Lotus Glass
1.8 GHz Quad Core Processor 32nm (Exynos 4412 with Mali T604) or 2.0GHz Dual Core Processor 32nm (Exynos 5250 with Mali T604)
2gb LPDDR2, DDR2 or DDR3 Ram

A 4.5" inch screen is more probable. I agree.
Well, a possible release date of Jelly Bean has yet to be confirmed. And if released in August this year, this certainly will not be in the Note 2. Jelly Bean will first arrive in Nexus 4 and it will take developers a few weeks to overlay their UI's on newer models
Touchwiz 5.0 is obvious for new devices coming out with ICS, so no need to include that in the specifications. Existing S2 and and Note will have ICS soon, but with the existing Touchwiz 4.0 interface.
16MP looks promising since sensors were already introduced late last year, Oct. 2011
Battery seems to be appropriate for the S2, since the battery compartment size will be able accommodate larger batteries due to the .2" inch increase in screen size.
3D may or may not appear. What remains suspicious is how Samsung decided to refer their new AMOLED displays as SAMOLED 3. HEY, YOU NEVER KNOW!
HzO is a possibility, but seeing that Samsung has to shell extra money out of their pockets puts this feature into question.
2GB will be able to accommodate more processes to run in the background, and since the CPU will be bumped, 2GB doesn't look like too much.
The Exynos 5250 (A15) that you are referring to may be featured in Phablets and or Tablets. This we will have to wait and see.
I think a lot of these updates are obvious, so as the clock ticks, we sit down and think.
Just dreams

What analysis? Have you been tracking CPU developments and historical lead times for flagship phones? Very cool if you have been.
Upgrading S3 to Nexus size makes sense. But 2.0ghz is a big jump. Is that equivelant rank/cost of 1.2ghz when S2 was new?
Note 2 going quad... well of ALL the phones on the market this would make most sense. Note should be first with Quad.
2GB sounds nice but doesn't smell right. I hope my phone doesn't turn into a bloated POS like windows that needs 1GB RAM and 1GHz CPU just to run!
3d... who knows. If they think it will make them money then sure. They are using all their ammo on Apple and not saving stuff till later like many companies often do. Let's hope they make it as good as they can and save nothing for the S4 / Note2 ;-)

Sad, but true, I have been following the CPU development and historical lead times of flagship phones in a way that presents itself more practically.
It would sound logical to bump the speed to 2.0 GHz since Exynos 4210 can be overclocked to 1.8 GHz stable. Samsung comfortably bumped the Note to 1.4GHz--gives every reason to believe another speed bump is likely for later flagship phones from the company.
I wouldn't be surprised though, if Samsung made USB 3.0 debut on the Galaxy Note 2. There are initial reports that USB 3.0 will be introduced in mobile phones later this year. If the Note 2 releases in Early Fall, then there is time for Samsung to make changes to its PCB diagram in order to accommodate USB 3.0

I would bet, but that would be just stealing your money.
1) No 3D... Sorry Samsung hasn't committed to it and WILL NOT until 3D actually matures
2) HzO is possible... but highly IMPROBABLE. Why would Samsung cut out of its own Profits for something that isn't quite necessary in the 2012 year ??
3) Battery sizes are way off. The SGSII should be lower (~2,000mAh) and NOTE2 should be higher (~3,000mAh) from my estimates
4) Camera performance is wrong. Samsung makes the best lenses in any smartphone (besides Nokia) but they do so in small increments to just match the competition and not completely overwhelm them. 12MP is what will be released.
5) 2GB RAM is way too much. Its just a waste of resources. I am telling you now that it will still be 1GB RAM or 1.5GB, nothing more.
6) Processors. Samsung has proven this last two releases to be superior to the competition but not by a large margin. 2012 will see tricore and quadcore A9's and possibly a dual-A15 before the years end.
Quadcore makes no sense for Android.
Tricore is much better (same performance, better battery life).
But the chip makers are not making any tricores, so indeed the SIII will have a Quadcore A9.
The NOTE successor (if there's one in the works) should get a beefier Quadcore A9, otherwise it will be one of the first to get the next-gen A15 chip.
7) SGSIII won't have a 4.65in screen. That would inflate the device's body larger than the SII. I think a more modest 4.5in screen will arrive.
8) You failed to mention OS, which is just as important as those specs. Obviously the SIII and NOTE2 will come with ICS. But Samsung is making a new version of TouchWizz (v5) which may debut on the NOTE2 (if your lucky on the S3). Remember Android 5.0 JellyBean will be out around August bringing a few "Groundbreaking" features that were left out from ICS.
I like your ideas, they would make a good successor but you don't know this industry that well.
Have you noticed the shift from Nexus One to Nexus S?
-much more polished, fluid, easy experience but not really an upgrade compared to the competition (eg Galaxy S)
Or the shift from Nexus S to Galaxy Nexus?
-modest upgrade but a SII is still in the same league and the NOTE is superior to what is suppposed to be "Androids best".
I will post a more accurate description of the successors (if any) soon.

Some of your points I agree with; some I do not know enough about to comment on. This one however I disagree with. It's true that 2GB would be a waste of resources given the current demands of Android and common apps, but in the consumer electronics and computing industries they don't always go on what a device needs.
External platter-based hard drives do not need USB 3.0. LCD TVs do not need ridiculous 600Hz refresh rates. If it costs very little to increase the hardware to a level where they can market it further, that's often enough for them to do it. RAM is so cheap to manufacture right now that it wouldn't surprise me if they did start using 2GB or even more in Android phones. That's not to say it will happen; just that the fact it would be a waste doesn't mean it won't.

Please please please no 3d.
I'll take a higher quality 2D screen over a 3D screen any day.

I'm sure if 3D is implemented, there will be an option to disable / enable it. Not a biggie, lol. I think the chances of 3D is 60/40.

Those points I agree with, you should update the OP (first post).
I also want to add:
-At 4.5in the SIII will have the same phsyical size as the SII since the Navigation buttons will be replaced with the on-screen ones
-There's new additional features for the SIII (LTE, NFC, Barometre, etc etc) which also takes up space in the phone
-Therefore, the increase in battery capacity will be limited to current technology (which is why 2,000mAh seems more plausible)
-Note: it doesn't cost much to bump 2AH to 2.3AH material wise, but it costs much more for the machines that make those batteries to properly stack the cloth of lithium.
-Apple and Samsung are direct competitors for cameras. They both try to match each others specs (not to surpass it). The difference in performance of 16MP and 12MP isn't much different but as a marketing tool it is.
Samsung has many lenses 0.3MP, 1.3MP, 2MP, 3.2MP, 5MP, 8MP, 12MP, 14.1MP, 16MP, 17.3MP for mobile devices.
So marketing wise, Samsung is more poised to choose a 12MP rear lens.
We know the SIII will be released before the NOTE2, and the fact that NOTE is supposed to be a beefier and larger version of Galaxy S.

Thing is, if the A15 performs as well as ARM claims, a dual core 2.0GHz Exynos 5250 should handily outperform a quad-core Tegra 3 (at the current 1.3GHz multicore speed) in CPU related tasks, in addition to being cheaper to manufacture and much much easier on power (28nm die size)
A15 is supposed to be 40% faster than A9 at the same clock speed, and the 5250 is being launched at 2.0GHz, which would give it TWICE the performance of the current N7000 Note (or Tab 7.7), CPU-wise.
That's not what I'd consider "low-end" for 2012.
^^^ I'd figure since Samsung plans to refresh its entire Galaxy Range of Products
5250 won't appear in devices 'till late this year--probably Q3
Unless Samsung makes an ultra-portable camera (smaller than compact) for mass market then 16MP that was introduced late last year, is reasonable for such a thing. However, since 16MP sensor is intended for mobile devices, and Samsung is already ready to put forward this to mass production-- chances are, we might see this in high-end devices this year, regardless. Just a thought...

Singapore's review on it...
Samsung's new Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet is demonstrated in New York. (AP Photo/Mark Lennihan)
When the original 5-inch Galaxy Note was first announced, it was harshly criticized for its larger-than-usual size as well as its stylus, an accessory that was rendered mostly obsolete by the advent of capacitive touchscreen displays. Samsung ultimately sold millions of the device, proving that there's a market for humongous phones. Today, the company officially launched the Galaxy Note 10.1, and just like its predecessor, early reviews of the device are mixed at best — Engadget's Joseph Volpe even bluntly says that "the Note 10.1 looks and feels kind of cheap" with its plasticky design.
The 10.1-inch Note runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with Samsung's Touchwiz skin on top. It's designed to be even more artist-friendly than the original Note: It still comes with the S Pen stylus that fits snugly inside a dock, and it now has 1,024 levels of pressure sensitivity thanks to Wacom technology. The new Note is better at detecting if your palm is resting on the screen so it make the marks you make with your hand disappear as soon as it detects the S Pen.
Drawing on the 10.1-inch Note is obviously more comfortable than drawing on its relatively smaller predecessor. But as you might've guessed, even with the increased levels of sensitivity, you can't exactly replace your dedicated graphics tablet with it. Reviewers complain of missed presses and lines drawn, and accuracy is a constant problem. As Wired's Nathan Olivarez-Giles puts it, the S Pen and the S Note app are fun to use and are good enough for casual doodling, but a "pencil or pen and a sheet of paper remain the better option for professional-grade work" in the absence of professional graphics tablets.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 has a relatively low-res screen — especially when compared to the new iPad's Retina display — at 1280 x 800 pixels, but PCWorld's Melissa J. Perenson, in particular, thinks Samsung might have done something to boost the new Note's display. "The sharpness and color of images is dramatically better than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, and my high-resolution images in the Google Gallery had sharpness and detail that came close to what you'd find on the high-pixel density displays," she writes.
One unique feature that's garnered generally positive feedback is the tablet's multiscreen function that gives you the power to split the screen between two apps. The downside is that the feature is limited to merely a handful of apps — just six, in fact. As Mashable's Peter Pachal says, though, it's still a "pretty cool trick, and it's great that Samsung ensured it works with the video player." Anyone who's ever used a tablet for more than just casual web browsing or content streaming can tell you that it's a nightmare trying to multitask on a tablet, so for a device that's focused on drawing, multiscreen is a great addition.
Other than the features mentioned above, the 10.1-inch Note also has an infrared blaster that turns it into a fancy remote control thanks to the Peel app, 2GB of RAM, a 1.4GHz quad-core processor, and a microSD card slot. These features sound great, but at $499 for the 16GB version, the Note 10.1 costs as much as the new iPad with 16GB storage, and far more than the universally lauded $199 8GB Nexus 7 that already comes with Android's newest operating system. Its price is the very reason why many reviewers think you should focus your tablet-buying eyes elsewhere.
"At $499, meanwhile, there are a host of other tablets with sharper displays, equal or greater built-in storage, and quad-core CPUs," Volpe says. Gizmodo's Brent Rose agrees and even advises people not to get to 10.1-inch Note at all: "The only possible exception would be a graphic designer absolutely convinced that the S Pen can be tamed... At a $500 starting price, this is a very clear pass for everyone else... the majority of things on this device don't work as well as they are supposed to."
Pachal, however, believes there could be a market for the new Note: "[T]he Galaxy Note 10.1 isn't really an iPad alternative; it's more of a tablet specialist — the tablet you go to when you need something very specific, which in this case is drawing, note-taking and multitasking. Just like you wouldn't go to a general practicioner for surgery, you don't get an Apple product if you want to use a stylus. You get the Galaxy Note 10.1. For anyone who ever wanted the digital equivalent of a legal pad, there's nothing better."
Samsung Android tablets are not matured enough to take on Apple Ipads yet..

Is the note2 what we all thought the phablet gona come, or is this the one rumored
The resolution of this device is a pity considering the screen size. Definitely not gonna buy it for the time being as it's really not worth spending my money for. Probably will buy it in 1 year to add it to my collection.....

[Q] Samsung Galaxy Note 3

The mid-range variant of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 leader has been affirmed with a large portion of the characteristics with which it has been since a long time ago supposed, including Galaxy Note 3 outside configuration with a somewhat littler, 5.5-inch 720p HD Super AMOLED showcase, the business sector's first hexa-center processor for the Galaxy Note 3 Neo LTE variant, a 8-megapixel Polaroid, 2gb versatile RAM, 16gb inner stockpiling with microsd, a 3,100 mah battery, and Galaxy Note 3 S-Pen characteristics.
All the more particularly, the Galaxy Note 3 Neo 3g variant characteristics a quad-center 1.6 Ghz chipset, while the Galaxy Note 3 Neo characteristics a hexa-center chipset with A15 Dual 1.7ghz and 1.3ghz Quad A7 processors. Systems administration and connectivity incorporates Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS with GLONASS, Hspa+ 42 mbps, LTE, and NFC.
One characteristic not wanted is that the Galaxy Note 3 Neo runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and not the as of late discharged Android 4.4 Kitkat. On the other hand, this falls in venture with the Note 3 Neo's prerelease depiction of a Galaxy Note 2 inner part and Galaxy Note 3 outer surface half and half. The unit likewise emphasizes the Note 3's advanced S-Pen with the Action Command alternatives: Action Memo, Scrapbook, Screen Write, S Finder Window Pen, S Note, and Multi-Window, and in addition the new characteristic Easy Clip, which permits clients to use the stylus to effortlessly edit a picture.

Samsung Galaxy S6 review: the iPhone 6s killer

The controversial new Samsung Galaxy S6 sheds its plastic construction, removable battery, expandable storage and environmental protection for slicker looks.
Samsung Galaxy S6: Learning a new design language
No two ways about it, the Samsung Galaxy S6 is a stunner, framed in cool-to-the-touch aluminium, and with a coloured Gorilla Glass 4 rear and front, it's a beautiful phone to behold. It's clad in Gorilla Glass 4 front and back, and the way it gleams and glistens in the light is quite entrancing. The S6 is available in "White Pearl", "Gold Platinum" and "Blue Topaz", but we think it looks best in "Black Sapphire", which you see pictured here.
As you'd expect from a modern smartphone, the S6 is extremely slim (6.8mm) and light (138g), and it feels surprisingly compact in the hand, especially considering there's a 5.1in display up front.
In our view, the S6 delivers the perfect compromise between screen size and one-handed comfort – in fact, it's slightly smaller overall than the Samsung Galaxy S5 – and it combines that with impressive build quality and attention to detail. Even the volume, power and home buttons feel like they've been upgraded: everything about this phone feels perfectly on point.
There are some downsides to the design, however. First, in order to produce such a gorgeous work of art, the removable rear panel, replaceable battery and microSD slot for storage expansion have been consigned to the dustbin.
Second, neither the S6 nor the S6 Edge has an IP rating, so they're not not water and dust resistant like last year's Samsung Galaxy S5 was.
And third, the glass rear of the phones picks up fingerprints like they're going out of fashion. It's easy to clean, but if you own one of these phones, you're going to be spending a lot of your time wiping it on your jeans or the hem of your T-shirt to keep it spotless.
Samsung Galaxy S6: Specifications
The fact that Samsung has gone with its in-house Exynos processor for all global versions of the Galaxy S6 signals the company's growing confidence in its ability to compete with top-tier technology firms such as Qualcomm. The Exynos 7420 SoC has four 1.5GHz ARM Cortex A53 cores and four 2.1GHz Cortex A57 cores, allowing the phone to strike a balance between performance and power consumption for all kinds of tasks. There's 3GB of RAM, which is standard for top-end phones now.
With no microSD card slot, Samsung has made the Galaxy S6 available in multiple storage configurations. The strategy and pricing follow Apple's precedents, but the base model comes with 32GB rather than 16GB, which seems like a direct shot across the bow.
Like last year's Galaxy S5, the physical Home button has an integrated fingerprint sensor, but now you don't have to swipe your finger across it - a simple touch will do. The heart rate sensor on the rear is also still around. We found the one on the Galaxy S5 gimmicky and ultimately forgettable. This one is positioned to one side of the camera hump, making less likely that regular usage will become a habit.

I think you forgot to mention why is it "the iPhone 6s killer". I think you need to compare them meaning you do need to mention about the iphonr
Not to be a party pooper but, this phone came out months ago. We have had the device for a months. A review now is kinda pointless..

This review is considered old. The latest devices in the market boast 4GB RAM and 4K display. The S6 was a great phone at its prime but it has now lost its footing to the Note 5 and other more powerful phones out there. While the camera is a game changer, most of the things you find on it can be found on other phones as well. Furthermore, most developers are put off by the Exynos processor as there is no way to develop custom ROMs for phones with Exynos processor without proper documentation from Samsung.
Also don't forget to mention that the STOCK Galaxy S6 multi-tasking and UI smoothness is... well, not good.

honest review about Galaxy F41 please; Does it have custom ROM?

Hi,
I was looking for a non-Chinese phone with 6gb RAM at a good deal.
Now, I have doubts about my decision.
I have just ordered a Samsung Galaxy F41.
I was wondering if I could get an honest review about the phone.
Also, after the warranty expires, I want to load it with a custom ROM. Are there any right now?
Warm regards,
Hitesh KH

Obviously you can use custom ROM also but the point is there is only few ( No ) ROMs Available yet because no device tree , kernel tree & vendor tree not available or not open source yet , I guess we should request Samsung to make it public source for custom ROM community.
