Thanks to its rom Jelly Time randomblame... - Desire HD General

Mr. Moderator, if this is not going well here, if not I apologize.
@Randomblame Hello, I can not write as developing your Jelly time, I'm writing here to thank you for your great work.
Sorry for my English, I write through google translator.
I've tried all the betas from the 4, and I encourage you to continue with this great work, regardless of unfortunate opinions.
Thank you very much, fantastic huge rom and your contribution.
A greeting from Spain.

Hello, you've installed the latest 13_13? I can not even how you work??? please.

I'm still in beta 7. I suppose that I will flash beta 14 .
Two spaniards speaking English between them, awesome

And another newbie who cannot Post in Dev Section.
Just flashed B13 and its amazing. Recognized the Camera bug, but nothing else yet. But I'm testing.
Great job randomblame! Thank you!

It's good in a way that Noobs can't post in dev section. Have you guys try using the thanks button. I think all devs know you all thank them for there hard work. Also it makes it hard to find out fixes and other problems when a thread is full of " thanks" . But you should just hit the thanks button or you can support by donation . Sorry to sound like an @$$

Xda thank all their tremendous work, I use the thanks button often, when I'm NOT going to use the donation, I am in crisis. On the new there is a saying new
"the most foolish pawn can teach you something every day"
Grateful for your reply sir. Greetings.

And another one that says a big THANK YOU.
I am following it since beta 1 and first installed beta 6.
What an impressive progress in this few weeks!!!
Great work again!

Support! This is my first JB ROM and it's been splendid! Currently on Beta 12 and it's just awesome. I can really feel the smoothness of the ROM as compared to when I was on ginger or ICS

It may be good most N00bs can't post in dev. section.
But what if you want to post a bug and/or a log for example.
I wanted to do so, when I first saw I cannot post in dev section.
And now I've got to post somewhere I do not want to post, to be allowed to post in dev section some time...

:good: to randomblame

I tried to flash this rom, but noticed that there are many green lines when tried to use panorama mode in camera. Any idea?

The rom is fantastic, it really shows how much better jellybeans feels when compared to ICS or even older versions...
So thanks from me too, if you fix the video playback issues (reboots) this will be my one and only rom...

one more
I join the thank given. Its my first JB rom and I was impressed so smooth...
thanks so much, keep good working!!!

Thanks to JellyTime I didn't upgrade my phone to the One X =)

imo, jellytime still isnt worth flashing. not rly convinced of it

All we got to do is thank those developers, 'cause HTC is giving a damn to their customers...

The greatest thanks that can be given to a developer is the knowledge that the people he/she shares their work with learned something and grew as a user. Want to show them real thanks? Dig in and make something for the ROM. A theme, boot animation, splash screen....something to show them you are learning.

Each to there own though mate eh.

RB you are my favorite JB master,Thank you very much for your hard work !
with AOKP JB since beta3,and it is the best thing that happened to my DHD,
with that said,i have a small bug Q:
has anyone still having trouble to keep swiftkey 3 as a default keyboard?
(always fully wiped before installation)

[ROM][ICS] i9100 Android 4.0 port (For real!..)The General chat and Q&A section

Hi guys
As i said in the post in the thread in android development i thought i create this thread so all you guys can leave any messages you want to the devs who are trying to port ICS for us on our beloved S2...I am only doing this to help them out so that thread does not get to cluttered with thank you messages and people asking how long its going to take for it to port or saying stuff like it will nice to have it the weekend and stuff..
Leave all your messages good, bad(not rude though)or just pointless ones in here and leave that one for dev talk...So that way they can speed things up and then we will all enjoy a bit of ICS if we do it this way....
Ive got nothing to gain by doing this all i want is just like everyone else the ICS on our handset...But this way by opening this thread at least we can have our chats here than on the dev one..anyway happy chatting and leave what you want on here for the guys...
Enjoy
If you want to follow the progress of the porting over just click on this link to see the thread....But DO NOT and i mean DO NOT leave pointless messages there only ones that you think might help the team speed things up with getting ICS to us.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1327600
EDIT:Looks like the guys have got stuck and they need the source to be able to carry on their work. I am no dev but if there is anyone who has been following my thread or the one linked to my post here please guys lend them a hand as they have been doing great strides to port it over....Much would be appreciated if anyone has more info to bring to the table and help the guys get back on track again..Many thanks
EDIT2:i have now put a link in my sig for people to read and to see if they know anything useful that they can come here and leave something useful for the devs that might help them get back on track with the project again...So if any of you know someone or you are that someone please follow the link above to the project and hopefully one of our devs can see the info..Or post it here and i try and pass over the messages...I am only doing this as i want to see the ICS as much as anyone on our handsets..so the more we can get involved the better
So just to be clear..If you have anything useful or helpful to say or give to our devs, either go to the above link and post your info or leave it here and i will try and either get them here to read it or i will PM them myself for you...Either way lets keep the project alive as we do not for sure when we will see ICS on the S2..thank you
EDIT3: Looks like the project is now dead since our devs have got stuck and need source now to carry on the work..Either way thanks to the guys for trying..
i will be the first one to say i want ics by the weekend.
Ehehe,
My thanks here ahahaha

Great idea for a thread - the other one was really getting cluttered with well meaning but ultimately useless posts. Pretty excited about this, and kudos to the devs for their hard work!
Noob question: Once we do have ICS compiled, if we wanted to flash one of the current modems (eg: on some Australian carriers, they need a specific modem to work), will that be compatible with 4.0?
just a question, i wanted to follow you on irc channel, but i can't see anybody... I put my pseudo, click join and now i can't do anything. If someone can help me ^^'

Its amazing to see how fast these things are going on...started with a fake topic from someone turned into real porting from hard working devs. Thx to any devs workin on it and if i got it right parra for sharing the missing dump. What about a donate button to the devs as soon as an alpha release is out?

Sounds good but someone will take an unfair share ... so maybe if it went in to a single pot and then divided equally between them after a set period of time eg 2month
Ps, not saying I don't trust them all, but i just don't want any arguments between them

thats what i meant..one account or pot whatever you want to call it and then the amount shared equally amongst them..but how do you go about setting that up though?
Well we need someone trustable who could create an paypal account. Im sure all devs have an account. After a period of time the one we chose will transfer the same amount of money to the devs...or the devs create a team together with one account...or idk...there are alot of opportunities...we just need to find the best idea...

As a suggestion, I would say use one of the two reserved posts for announcements. That way those don't get buried under the thread. It also gives one place to see what's new. You can always keep adding to the post (like a changelog).

Some of us for longer than others...contract runs out in December (possible upgrade in November) and from then on my wildfire will be little more than a rom tester for me, granted it's been a brilliant phone for just under two years now. I would post things into the development forum as I have tried many of the roms out there but having only just thought of making an account after two years I have found I cannot without more than 10 posts...
Then again, what's my loss will be your gain as I will definitely be posting in the development forums as soon as I can (end of contract) with any bugs or problems I find.
I need help with what to replace the glorious phone that is the wildfire, can anyone recommend a suitable replacement which is equally moddable?

Thank you developers

A bit uncalled for but I would just like to thank all the developers for all the hard work they have put into creating great roms. Without you guys I don't think I would still be with play, thank you for all the time and grant into building firmware helping boost the way we use our phones and what we can achieve.

No, but seriously, the number of people saying thanks or clicking the button here on the play forums is very very dismal.
I have an IncS & frequent that forum a LOT more than here cos the play is my wife's phone.
I post quite less but read through most of the threads in the dev section.
You guys have some really awesome developers & contributors and they have absolute zilch to show for it.
i think the devs thanks meter here should be quadrupled at least looking at the efforts & the time spent.
Plus there are loads of helpful members who actually help with the right advice.
the thanks button is there for a reason boys & girls, use it! it's free!
am sure you all feel happy to see your posts getting thanked, why not those who actually work for it?
in the IncS forums the number of devs are less & the number of 'super devs' are even more lesser.
it's like even if they sneeze there are like 20 thanks...
not putting anyone down anywhere but boy am sure the big boys here deserve a lot more thanks (and donations if you please )
anyhow thank you all - devs, ppl who contribute & help others and basically the play forum...
it looks like a happy family to me
keep it rocking guys

Totally agree with everybody here, big thanks to all the developers that have made our plays worth owning, it's obvious to see among the comments in some of the play threads that some people clearly have no idea the amount of work that goes into all the peeerty things that we get for FREE and the developers make for virtually nothing!!! I hope the donations cover the redbull required but sadly I doubt it :-( BIG THANKS TO ALL THE PLAY DEVS AND CONTRIBUTORS

Haha so you got the flash fever as well Custom android stuff is really interesting/fun to do, and it's also fun to make stuff yourself
I think we "the i9001 xda scene" have delivered like 95% of the total custom i9001 stuff available on the world. there are some other forums who also have roms, but XDA is just the best! the best source for learning for everyone.
Without this forum the i9001 would be crap!

don't compare the desire (ex htc flagship device) to the i9001 (pretty much nothing , just one little improved attempt mid range ex flagship) , makes no sense - it's like comparing nexus devices to zte's. we have almost fullcm9 , full cm7 is on the way , incredibly good gb roms , actually good kernels and a good start for cm10 . appreciate what you have and the people who made it happen - that on their on free time and for no money . compare this to galaxy w / r for the right justice .
thank you , devs . youguys are miracle workers .
