For some reason my notification light stopped working when I get a sms or a missed call. Is there any way to check it.

I am running an android build (froyo v2) on my stock hd2 rom. I have had a few issues but they have all since passed. The only thing I miss is the notification lights. For example if I had an unread sms it would keep blinking. This doesnt seem to work on the android build. Another problem I have is that when I charge, the led light doesn't stay on, it only blinks if i unlock the screen and touch the notification bar, but it never stays on....
I did a search on google and on the forums and couldn't find anything.
Is there something I am doing wrong?

I have the same problem. My LED light no longer stays on.... I cant find any solutions after searching the forums...
this is not an issue that only u have...this is a known problem and still devs working on this..!read every time u download a build.. that led lights still not work properly!works only for someone when battery is charging..but when u have a text message or a missed call its not blinkin..thats normal..!i hope they will fix it soon..!
Hi. Is this issue resolved yet? I am using daniest v4.2. I went to display to enable the led notification option for miss call and sms but it is still not lighting up. However it lights up in red when on low battery.
some release use some libs that break led notification.. i use a release like that and i've solved my problem with "led me know".. it's an app that activate led notification. sometimes don't work fine but is well.

After trying out led me know for a day, it seems very stable. No issues at all. Blinking of led stops once missed calls and unread messages are dismissed. By the way i had the compatibility mode enabled.
I think only one rom has LED notification lights that works properly. Mine always blink once and that's it.
Has anyone else been able to get it working properly.
Anyone else have this problem? For example I will get an SMS, get light notification, unlock phone and read SMS, turn off phone and still get light notification.

Yes,
You have to read that message to stop he light.
It's a incompatibility issue and may be fixed soon.
Hey all, I have a AT&T GS4, with BeanStalk 4.4.4 ROM installed. Recently, all LED notifications stopped working (calls, SMS, mail, you name it). The LED is fine, as it's lit up when charging, but no notifications work anymore. I tried Light Flow and a few other apps, and none of them worked either. Am I missing something or did a ROM bug surface somewhere??

Try to disable stock led notification from settings
The notification LED light at the right corner of the screen only works when the phone is charging. I tried turning on notification light for some apps but it still wont blink or light up when the screen is off if I have a notification. Does anybody know how to fic this?
It seems like notification LED only works for SMS messages and missed calls on this phone under MIUI.

You have to enable it in settings. It runs ok for all apps.
