first of all thanks for your forum , I really think, this is the best forum in the world.
I have a question , I installed MIUI 2.4 on my HD2 ago, actually I tested a game (Splinter Cell Conviction) on it, but some objects such as walls and doors was invisible on it, so my question is 1)which version of Androids is the best for play 3D games? 2)which version is the best (graphic , design , battery , speed and so on...)

I don't meant to hate @OP but this is true.. There are HUNDREDS of the same thread in the general section and Android Q&A asking "what is the best rom"..
I started out as a complete noob a year ago and still figured out my way around by reading, then you can too..

Not when you've created a useless thread, for a question which has been asked hundreds of times before, originally in the wrong forum section, and then a follow-up question asking for a download link which would have taken you no more than 20 seconds to find? If I didn't point all of this out, then I can guarantee someone else would have done so.

You can find it on the first page. This rom doesnt require a lot of knoledge of hacking. Everything you need is included. Also, the developer responds very fast.
Only thing I dont like is resolution of the screen. The rom is customised and the author likes smaller density of the screen. Everything is very small but there is an instruction how to change it.
You say dont feed the animals, but your the f**king animals.
Dont like a thread? Dont respond. If its going to get removed, a moderator will remove it. If you have an answer, then give it.
Dont sit there and massflame, nufags.
I suggest MDJ's CM7 2.3 release. Its quick, and as far as Ive seen, troublefree.

haha fagbag...i like that! whats worse that a fag.....a bag of fags. haha. hey you bag of fags!!!! haha that might be the only useful part of this whole thread. yall are right flaming doesnt help, but neither does answering the question in the wrong section. its not that ppl would rather flame than help, i think everyone on this site is here to get help or help others. i do both. I have also doine my fair share of posts in the wrong place and been flamed for it. heres the catch though, xda mods and staff have put a lot of effort into making this site as efficient and helpful as possible. When ppl just randomly post stuff because they didnt bother to search or try things themselves then you end up with random stuff posted all over the place. and the site would be a huge mess....trust me i have seen it. just go into some of the other forums and see how they look.....a mess. No its not nice to flame ppl but............in that thread there are 14+ posts and 1200+ views in less than 24 hrs. so had the question been answered nicely and no one flamed him before it got moved then all those ppl that post the exact same type question in the Q&A will see instead of waiting for an answer in there they can just mnake a post in here and it will get answered by someone as yourself. INSTEAD he got gently flamed and maybe he and the 1000 newbs that saw it learned not to post here. DONT TAKE IT PERSONALLY.

True and I feel its very disrespectful to the developers because they put their heart and soul in these roms. This far in android development all roms are super smooth and fast. It's just a matter of preference. I tried a lot of roms both gingerbread and sense hd and believe me some of these roms run close to if not better than native android devices. So please close this thread and go find some better to do than to insult the great devs of xda.

That is simply not true, there is a lot to be done in terms of Sense Roms. However, many dev's are working hard to change that and it is only a matter of time to see Sense Roms as smooth as Stock/CM/MIUI roms...

Actually I think what thread starter is trying to do is to see which is the most popular ROM. Not which ROM is the best, smooth, fast, battery life etc. So I think it is ok. Most popular ROM does not mean best ROM and best Rom does not mean most popular ROM. Hence it is really about preference. No correct answer.

i think also that this thread is "wrong" i think.. the title is wrong.. i'd used something that "what rom do you prefer according your taste", i think that some people at first flash can found here the first rom to try, only the first, because is needed to try all of the roms.. because all roms are great. i change rom every 2 days.. when i found a rom that i prefer.. make a donation.. and use it for a few weeks! by the way... congratulations to all dev for their great works!

hi i have miui 1.6 installed on my hd2 and i have saw fruitninja on marketplace and i love that game but i dont wanna buy can someone tell me how to play and install any thing i mean like on miui some installing files or something that i can play that please help thanks alot in advance ......
You can always check Fruit Slice. Almost identical. And you can install it for free .

I like Barebones CM7, but it's up to each person. You can just test each of them and see which one do you like better.

I'd suggest you read through the threads to find what others are saying, it is hard to say one ROM is the best because in most cases there will be enough satisfied/grunting users on each case to make them mostly equal, as with any tablet/e-reader: the best will be the one that matches what you are looking for

I glanced at this post a couple of times today, but passed it by. Better to spend the time/energy/keystrokes on the "lost and seeking guidance" crowd rather than the "I see the spoon, but feed me" bunch. Otherwise, it's just endless enabling, but hey... venting is worthwhile from time to time too.

Come on... you've been here longer than I have. You're just a few handful of posts away from being a senior member at XDA. I've looked at some of your posts and you've been criticized before for doing the same things in other device forums. The junior member with just 3 posts (he spent one of those on you) even told you to do some reading to see what would work for you. You can hardly call yourself a newb... this "babe in the woods" routine isn't going to work.
There are ways to ask questions that will get you helpful responses and there are posts that will draw venom from members. If you can't take the time to read over the descriptions for these various ROMs and ask direct questions about them, you shouldn't expect someone else to draw up a comparison chart on your behalf.
Let me leave you with this thought: If you write a 5 word question that demands a 5 paragraph answer.. you are doing it wrong!
That's my venting for the day.
We understand that and there isn't much to criticize. Just try each of the ROMs yourself and decide on your own which one do you like the best.
You don't have to stick to a single ROM for life once it's flashed. If you don't like what you flash, then wipe and flash another.
No one better than you to tell you what you like.

Hey, that's me, I actually been roaming the forums for some time and I usually read a lot before I try something, I just keep searching and trying until I hit a really hard roadblock, and then I try to search some more, when I definitely have nowhere else to go then I go back to square one and do it all over again, if I haven't got the result I am looking then I ask a question (turns out I have not had the need to ask questions here, which means I've been able to get my results all by searching and trying)

there was a rom in development section but the developer of the rom got bored because of the members who ask for eta a lot and accusing him of detching his own rom development then he upgraded his mobile phone and moved along and leaved a reply in the rom thread that if he was able to fix problems in the rom he wouldnt do it because of those people who just think developers are machines they dont get sick they dont get tired they dont have real life and this is completely wrong they are not bound to update their roms or make another updated but they do it because they like to do it and for the sake of the legend (HD2) to get the most out of it

In other words, Sbryan was sick of douches like you (kslakhani) who just kept asking him to fix things and make the ROM work. You really don't appear to understand XDA at all, you probably shouldn't come on here too much.
First of all I hardly asked anybody to fix things.
I always appreciated their efforts and u know its up to them whether they wanna do it or not.

There's no real Sense 4 ROM for HD2 yet, but there is one for Desire. All we need is one man who would like to spend his time porting that **** to our device. Want it? Do it yourself or wait for someone else who wants it too and will do it for you.
