Disable telephony? - Galaxy Tab 2 General

Hi!
I have a T-Mobile Multi SIM in my Samsung Galaxy Tab2 and i dont want to telephone with the tab... but when i receive a Call on my smartphone the tab is ringing too...
Can i disable the telephony?
Silent Mode or Flight Mode is not a possible workaround...... help me please!
Any App this blocked telephony or so...?

You can delete the phone.apk in /system/app/. (requires root)
Though I recommend doing a full CWM backup first.

Okay but the customer doesnt want root ....

I suppose you could root, remove and then unroot again.

No... the Counter for unsecure kernels & flash getting up.. thats the problem...
.. it looks like that i must living with the prob....

I think the only things you could do is call your operator. If I'm not mistaken you can set primary and secondary for multi sim

The Primary can set only for SMS receive and sending....

new samsung galaxy s3

Hello everyone.
I have just bought a new samsung galaxy s3 from china. I want to unlock it and install the newest firmware, all at the beginning before i start installing applications and changing settings the way i want them. For start the phone is sim locked and in Cyprus, where i live, i have to unlock it. The only procedures i saw up to now includes root of the phone which automatically means void of warranty. I don't really mind of it but is there any way to do it without this result? How about changing the phone CSC, is that going to help or this has nothing to do with radio?
I also want to install jelly beans but iam not really sure if the official rom for this model is on the market. Any help and any links would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Yeah you have a point here but the warranty is international and i think it is valid in Cyprus too. But anyhow as i said earlier i don't really care about warranty since most of the times i fix my staff.
Congrats on your new purchase. The best Galaxy ever!
You need root privileges to do an unlock.

I doubt it. Try reading the warranty card that came with your phone. It states that the warranty is valid only in the country of purchase, AND with a proof of purchase (such as invoice, fiscal document, whatever).
Besides, since your model was bought in China, it may not be a GT-I9300, but a variant (such as GT-I9300T, or any other letter after the "9300"). That info will be under the battery, in the labels in its compartment.
If - and only if - your phone is not exactly a GT-I9300 (w/o any letter after that), flashing an I9300 ROM or kernel to it may brick the phone.
Before doing anything to your phone, read a lot fo stuff in these forums, to minimize your chance of bricking your phone, and get a greater understanding of what and why you'll be doing to your phone.
Anyhow, forget about your phone's warranty: a rooted phone is a lot better than a stock phone.
Thank you very much i will keep that in mind. As far as i know it is GT-I9300 and for the warranty i haven't read it yet but i will.
Ok i finally recieved my phone but when i opened it i was really sad to find out that the software was completely chinese! There is not even a choice to insert my gmail account so i can sync my contacts. When i tried to change the csc with the usual way (*#2372....) the only option i got was the one already installed which is the CHY. So i tried to download the SGS CSC selector app to install a european csc but the only way to download it is by google market, something that i am unable to do since there is not even the google play app in the phone!! I am really unhappy cause i was waiting for this phone for a month and now that i have it, it's all messed up...
Any ideas????

No it's an original samsung's product. But i don't know why there is no sign of google in this phone.. And there are also a lot of chinese apps installed. Btw when it boots there is a chinese screen at first and then the normal samsung's logo appears. I wish flashing a rom will get rid all of these chinese things!
Jayden what information would you like to write down for the confirmation of it's international edition??

AMR-WB aka HD-Voice with MF8 FW

Hi,
I'm on stock and unrooted till now.
I heared about the HD voice feature from the S4 and wanted to use it since my carrier is supporting it.
I'm on the actual FW from Samsung MF8 and as I heard it is not possible anymore to enable it via service menu.
Can somebody tell me how to enable this feature?
When I need root for that, ok i think it is worth it.
But no idea what to adapt when I have root to enable that feature...
Please help

U need to flash s152 rom using sp flash tool. Then upgrade to s208. It will not void warranty if u use right procedure. But if u r not familiar with these n all better refrain from these stuffs. See the image above. i have Volte enabled and does need Jio voice app to use data and make calls.

I installed this 1st i downgrade it and again install 208 update for voLTE feature after that device still in warranty but we cant able to get updates officially and even we cant update it with manually by putting update.zip file in internal storage.
volte feature has still bugs, i noticed when you call from jio sim and if call placed successfully then you cant get last called number
some times volte disabled and when i on airplane mode and disable it its worked again. so it needs some improvement.
Use it your own risk
sorry for my BAD English.

Yes.
@shashankudupa, after following those steps, I'm facing few issues.
1. Phone update says I'm up to date.
2. If I try to make or receive a call, phone vibrates just to indicate call gets connected and even timer is running. After that, I can't hear anything.
3. If someone try to call me, phone doesn't ring, I can only see phone ringing in d display like in dnd mode.
4. 4g symbol won't disappear after closing the data connection.
5. Data won't work as usual unless and until, I go to flight mode and come to normal mode.
Don't know what to do. I'm afraid that I was well planned into a trap. I checked warranty using Lenovo companion, it says I'm in warranty. I even checked phone speaker and buzzer condition. Its fully functional. Due to this issue, I have to look into my phone most of time.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Active Unlock Bootloader

Hi, guys. I recently got a phone from my grandmother. It's a Samsung Galaxy S5 Active. It's network provider is NTT docomo. My problem is the docomo apps, I want to get rid of them. How can I do that? Please go easy on me. I'm just a beginner.
Root is nowhere to be found at first glance for the SC-02G, so you have to look around and try to root it without bricking. Next get titanium backup and freeze the bloatware. There is no custom rom either.
Oh. But if I flash a new ROM, will the apps disappear? Or do I have to root before flashing?

You can't flash another ROM other than the stock ROM, which contains the DoCoMo apps. I am somehow envious of you because you have an NTT DoCoMo branded phone but you use it outside of Japan, because here i am in Japan with an European SM-G900F. And as how root is nowhere, tough luck. You *may* want to compare your device with the S5 Active, but as i know DoCoMo devices, it will not be even close.

Unfortunately you can't. Odin will not let you flash it. You might want to search for root. Are you sure its bootloader is locked? Because if it is, again, you might want to compare it to the SM-G870A. Try Kingoroot or some of the one-click root programs and see if you have any luck.
How will I know if bootloader is locked? I'm sorry. I really don't know anything. Huhu.

to be honest, neither do i. I have only owned unlocked bootloader devices. let's assume the bootloader is unlocked. there are no custom roms, and i suggested you use a one-click root solution to see if you can root the phone.
Okay. What program should I use? I see Odin and KingRoot as the most recommended.
