Epic fail sprint, facepalm!

okay, introduce something new, hmm, not 4g lmaoooo, the reason being they want to get it out asap lmfao...carrying on...no front facing camera, same 1 ghz snapdragon that was used on the evo just updated, whipdy doo, after 8 months of technology we use the same clocked speed processor. back camera is lower than what people consider the standard for top smartphones now, im sorry i can keep going, this is an epic fail, disagree if you'd like but of course this is only my opinion. Granted i'll still see it in person but cmon man, ruined my night...
and one more thing, what the hell was the point of david blaine!

Not gonna lie, just turned on 4g hoping it would connect and when everyone realized they had 4g, Sprint would say "Did you guys really think we would leave you with that p.o.s.? Happy new year, here's froyo for Epic and Gingerbread for Evo as well!"

Yes, the ipad is nice and pretty... That said I wouldn't trade my galaxy tab for it, I have what the ipad have plus flash and widgets and I can take it anywhere in my jacket pocket.

can't imagine what kind of pocket she had
a photographer dude that use its camera for actually taking pictures, and actually prefer using iPad instead of his cam coz iPad have a longer battery life and he doesnt have enough money to buy extra batteries for his camera (wonder how much he got his iPad)

Just reading the comment about it being lightweight - from my use of the old ipad in the store afyer a while it began to get quite heavy (thats partly why i got the tab) i doubt with the ipad 2 apple have made it dramaricaly lighter (doubt it). either that or i have feeble arms (not the case)
and re it being small - i doubt it will fit in a pocket unlike the tab (thats what samsung claim and it will fit in my jenes pocket)
and re it being fast? Its 1.8ghz in total whilst the xoom is 2ghz so the xooms faster.

I agree with you. I would get it for my wife as well. She has an Optimus S now which is her first Android device and she's still figuring out to work it after having it for 3-4 months. her phone is basically stock...smh lol.
She was in love with the iphone 3Gs but I convinced her to switch to Sprint so that I could get the Nexus S 4G and possibly the Evo 3D...lol.
But yeah, I'm definitely not getting an iphone.

I MOST DEFINITELY will be switching. Without I doubt in my mind. I went from G1 > iPhone. The only reason I switched to sprint is because of the employee discount. It would feel good to go back home...

If they add LTE to the version coming out later this year with a bigger screen ill definitely consider getting one. **** loyalty to a brand I like my phone to work.

This makes sense and it will be interesting to see how this Android v Apple battle plays out when the iPhone is available on every major US carrier. I had an iPhone in the past and while its a fantastic device, its not the phone for me. My wife may be interested though...

It would have to have a 4"+ screen and android being boot locked and watered down for me to consider it.

Wouldn't even consider it without a 4"+ screen.

Starting to understand. I have a couple of those who finish your battery coming in a few days mate.
In some years when i need to entertaint them i will remember what i must not install from market.

Sure there's plenty more games that do the same. I'm not a gamer myself, and my oldest has my old SGS for her games, but the kiddy-game market is growing. Apologies for my 11-post jibe, it was unnecessary.

Well, let's see... on three occasions that I fornicated with my wife, three offspring came out nine months later. I was there during all three of said occasions, and delivered the middle offspring (the gamer) myself.

However, I'm right and you're all wrong. All these lavasoft games - Restaurant/Farm/Zoo Story really do drain battery quickly. A combo of wifi, bright colours and eager progeny is hardly conducive to prolonged battery life. They certainly drain it quicker than my boy's other games (e.g., Cut The Rope, Angry Birds).

My kids would get an old phone, which you can only use for talking and sending text messages and for gaming a Nintendo DS.
Think about this instead of battery live! The cheapest solution isn't always the best

I don't let them surf the net alone, under any circumstances. My middle kid is 7, and he's not getting a mobile before he's 10 (there's 6 year olds where I live tooled up with mobiles, which is ridiculous).
Any online games he plays are on my phone, always with me present, and no invites/social interaction without me vetting first. He has a DS and a Wii, and I don't allow online play with them.
Sad but true - as a parent you can't be too careful.

Yes, especially regarding internet. Too bad there's zero parential control in Android. I remember a father reporting, that his kid used in-game market to waiste 99$
A few weeks ago I saw a less than 10 year old girl in a bus with a Galaxy ... some parents don't seem to know, what they are doing.

No. Wife likes to go out to people watch and get a few things, my nieces stay over and watch my daughter.

One thing I notice... people give up after standing in these lines... but I do not see anyone turning away when they first get in the door...

Just heard on the police scanner there is a large fight at one of the local Walmarts. Cops that are there are asking for more backup.

I should download a scanner app and see what's going on around here. Still in line, have a while to go. Luckily they price match competitor ads... but not until the time they start at the other store. I was worried I would get through the line before midnight.
