Install Guide:
- Download Rom and put it onto your tab!
- Turn your tablet off
- Go into CWM-Recovery
- In CWM-Recovery go to install zip from sdcard ---> choose zip from sdcard
- choose the rom and install it
- After install is done Wipe data,cache,dalvik cache

camera can't work till ics official upgrade by samsung
Final Update and it's better than ever see the OP!
Wierd problem. I did a wipe user/data, installed the rom and it boots up fine.
1- bootscreen is only glowing "android" logo, not samsung.
2- on main screen, there is only the TW-digital clock and icon for Internet. Everything else shown in pics is missing (also standard ICS wallpaper, not TW)
3- Settings top bar is pure black, not themed TW-ux style
4- Missing almost all Samsung widgets, bar the digital clock one (No social hub, music player etc)
And also tried the v2 of the rom.
It is missing almost everything except the blue wallpaper. Not even digital clock widget is there, let alone _any_ apps. And that means no Google Play or anything.
I might say, this version is close to worse rom i have tried.

Then Please, Enlighten us with the proper way to build a rom.... Better yet, why don't you make the rom yourself!!! Show some respect to the Dev.. This guy is trying to bring you an alternative to a sub par stock rom and you complain about a free rom!??!

He's not a rom dev, he's a rom modder, all he's doing is taking some apps out, themeing the framework and adding a different launcher, we can all do that, Kallt_Kaffe and Pershot are devs

I was just disappointed by the rom. It just doesnt do what is claimef

Of these, there are no touchwiz widgets and hardly any real worthy change over stock CM9.
Does this have the Samsung keyboard? for best compatibility with the keyboard dock, biggest issue with all unofficial ICS builds for me, not all keys work correctly.

Honeycomb 3.2 ROM for Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 3G (GT-P7300).
[UPDATE]
Thanks to clicka the update is now working. Forgot a small change in the builds.prop that is necessary for the P7300 tablets.
Updated the ROM with small enhancements.
This update can be used only if you already have a Ganbarou GT V0.5a ROM installed. If not, please install first my ROM. This would be a Ganbarou GT V0.5a for Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 GT-P7300.
Changelog:
Added Recovery reboot to PowerMenu
Browser with UAstring options in the settings menu
6 ROM versions available for 10.1 (P7500), 10.1N (P7501), 8.9(P7300), with original Samsung icons and with AOSP icons
The bug with the mouse pointer not visible is fixed as well.
The versions with the Samsung icons have now the colored icons in the settings.
As a small add-on I included the Photo Browser coming from the Acer Icona tab. Really fast and fancy. Check the video on youtube.

With the help of MikeO and dg5fdg from Android-Hilfe forum I could get my P7500 ROM working on the 8.9er tablet.
My support for this ROM will be limited, as I do not own a Galaxy Tab 8.9. But with your help I think we can solve the problems.
I guess this will be the last Ganbarou GT ROM based on Honeycomb 3.2. As everybody else I am waiting that the CM9 ROM or an IceCreamSandwich ROM from Samsung is coming.
This version of the ROM is based on the XXKL4 stock ROM released for the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Italy. It will not change your kernel or recovery. You need to flash them by yourself if you want to change.
You need CWM installed to flash this ROM.
Reminder:
Be aware that this is only for the 3G version of the SGT. I cannot test on Wifi, LTE (4G), or 10.1v versions of the tablet. I guess it will not work and you will get into problems.
You flash this ROM on your own risk. If you damage your tablet with this ROM I take no responsibility for it.
Start SuperUser once after 1st boot to make sure its working correct!

wifi not working
just finish installing your rom the rom feels great but found out that wifi not working.
Upgrade to monley kernel, wifi still not working.
P/s: not working meaning can scan but cannot connect.
wifi is just working fine here, no problems so far.

MIUI Launcher V4 & themes and MIUI Gallery are linked to the first post
MIUI Boot-animation added in first link. Here are the instruction.
Installation: 1
1.Place the bootanimation_miui.zip in root of your sd card
2.Boot into recovery.
3.Install zip from sd card
4.Select bootanimation_miui.zip and flash.
5.Reboot. DONE!
If this is not working for you. Install it by second procedure.
Installation: 2
1.Take backup of your Boon Animation.
2.Using root explorer go to system/media
3. Place bootanimation.zip in to system/media.
4. Reboot. Done.
Sweet! Just the bootanimation I wanted, would have been better if the MIUI text was orange instead of blue, and the background black instead of white, but overally its great!
I would request more MIUI apps, but that's asking too much

Everything works fine on the PerfectPeso rom yeah!
Performance is great! No lag what so ever! Speed, great too! Fast as! And as for battery consumption, its all round good!
I actually have CM7 6.5.8 on my sdcard, and it runs fine aswell
Just try it, theres an old baseband fix!

I had almost uploaded it when i started making new thread but i found some problem in the ROM. So, i thought i will first fix the problem then complete the thread

ACESIII is based on CM9 and S' Series is ICS based.
damn, i wished it would be based on 2.3.6 XWKTM (because its the latest, and the best. DDKQ8 has lockscreen bugs )

ok thx. on normal usage and sync with 4cyl engine i was on 3 days and 5minutes on battery. then i was on 3% of battery life. pure vanilla and windows phone rom script also included!
I wonder if 4cyl and supercharger can work side by side without conflicts... doubt it though
4cyl turbo nos and entropy lag reduce can only work side by side it's written in the thread of 4cyl plus good work with the rom.... But this rom is stock and shaman already put up a rom earlier which is of xxlqb and has many tweaks and stock kernel tweaked with the rom.... Whats the major difference between both please highlight? Other than the beats audio... And S4 widget

When shaaan put up his ROM, I was 90% done with this... So I wrapped it up, and posted it ... Nothing wrong with extra choice now, right?

Why is that? filecloud allows you to download at full speed... Just scroll far down and click request download ticket... and then click download
My download top speed of this is 10 kb/s...

Naaah well if you could try and port some more s4 apps and make it more customized then it will surely be much more great.. But still good work I do like the s4 widget

well as i ve been saying we have many roms 4.4.2 with similar features but at same time different..so questions for users are:
wich one is the best? --i cant say..its user choice for his needs.here you can see most features of each rom and choose.
what makes this/that rom unique? --see screenshots and video reviews.
wich bugs do they have? --report here some more or all you find.
wich one haves more free ram? --see screenshots.
and so on..
i have choosen this roms,so users can say what they think and report bugs (if any) besides cm11 bugs.HDMI,video recorder laggy,stock web browser super laggy.

GOOD: many user friendly configurations,excelent battery life,great themed on red.super smooth and super fast!! usb mount working 100%,only one until now.
BAD: sometimes freezes on some features,nothing big.*too red for my taste,if it was blue better for me only!!!

GOOD:navigation bar inside the rom fully working,no landscape for gaming.:good: super fast,great ram,battery life is very good,equalizer with many option.carbon wallpapers inside directly from server (wifi connection required) but great little feature.
BAD:no music player,no HALO feature.

yes,its a WIP thread...i think we gonna have more kk roms and better ones..so this all can change..anyway users can express on any moment wich rom they prefer..best one is a bit hard...i ve tried all and i cant say..i like all,but for now Carbon rom latest release is my favourite...and last week it was Hellkat alpha..so this is always changing..but we can see all bugs and better features on any rom more unified..and keep following all changes that is been made for OP on their roms and its more visible for all developers see their work spread.

you can change..all this roms are good..in this moment im using carbon for more tests..but they are new roms coming and updates..so report bugs that you see on rom used or suggestions for KK roms.:good:

i will do new updates and reviews also with gaming performance on kitkat roms..but at this time no big differences from last releases and only carbon have a new nightly build mainly fixing some little bugs..but ive tested yesterday and no big difference performance wise.
so keep following,new reviews are coming and more complete.:good:

From jb 4.2 2.6 kernel had problems with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and needed hacks to work... I guess kk will create more problems... And I doubt any dev will do all that work just for fm... Too much work for one feature...

Thanks for the summary.
I am currently using Polygon KK with mounts2sd. Very smooth and stable ROM, but I am ready to check other ROMs. Specifically I am looking for a ROM with more Xperia Z1 looks and features.
I think it is time for the ROM developers to include something like int2ext4 or mounts2sd built in to the ROM installer because storage space is almost the only problem for our Arc now (the other problem is processor speed.)
