Without knowing my specific needs if anyone could help with their best guess advice
Today is the last day, my 14th day for an exchange at T-Mobile
I have the 16gb white galaxy s3. Love the phone
The 32 gb was not out until a few days after i got mine
I have the 16gb plus a 32gb extSDcard
I normally think that is more than enough combined space. I, like so manynof my friends keep only curremt music on it, etc..not ALL my music
But one case where it does matter. If I were to use Music Square, which is an awesome feature, the music has to be on the phone
16gb gets crowded. Although I could continue to weed the music down to that amount
....as long as there won't be any other issues
Can anyone who has been in this scenario think of where, not the combined ammount of space matters, but rather the amount on your phone like the music square
Will I encounter any other issues that may encourage me to get the 32gb on the phone.
Your best guess not knowing me but knowing I have basic uses and 64 mb combined is probably enough to help answer this is greatlybappreciatedin either putting a mind to rest or getting me out there to spend that extra 53 bucks

To be honest Id spend the extra $53 for piece of mind. Better safe than sorry IMO. If you decide you need more space you'll spend more later trying to buy a 32gb after your 14days and the headache of trying to sell your 16gb. I dont dl music but i think for google music it caches it in the internal memory and not sd card. But in my case I play a lot of games and games data are stored in the internal. Right now I only have 6gb out of the 12 (I have the 16gb model for tmo). I also have the 32gb sprint but its been deactivated and it still has 19gb of space. There are times I wanna switch back to sprint just to have the 32gb again but I cant stand 3g. I would love to have the 32gb but I bought my tmo s3 at costco and they currently dont offer the 32 gb otherwise I wouldve jumped on it.

Well first they will charge a restocking fee. Second it should be fine with 16gb.. Of course it depends on usage. I personally have the blue 16gb with a 32gb class 10 samsung sd. Plenty for my needs. The only reason I would consider getting the 32gb is because the flash memory on the galaxy is WICKED fast... Loading times are great. I don't personally play too many games so for me the 16 is adequate. For music I have a combination of music in Google play and the rest is stored on my sd card.

Personally, I feel more space is always better, however, if you plan on filling the internal sdcard with 32GB of files, media, games, whatever, good luck if your phone takes a dive on you. I keep only games and apps on my 16GB internal then back them up with titanium backup on my 32GB extsdcard. I keep all of my files I don't want to lose there and backed up on my PC. As far as filling up your internal memory with games, the real question is, how long do you plan on hanging on to Plants vs Zombies? Just delete the games you're sick of and replace them with new ones. You'll have a newer, better phone before you ever start worrying about needing more space to save stuff on anyways. Besides, stuff on your phone that you haven't used or looked at in over a month should probably be deleted or stored away on a backup somewhere safe. Digital hoarding is a real problem a lot of us have to break.
think of it this way, it's ONLY $53 for double the storage. compare this to a few months ago and some other phones, they are $100 more for double capacity. i'd switch it if there are no other fees involved.
The real question should be whether or not you need more than 71gb of useable space on your phone. For the $53 difference plus $30 restocking fee you can wait for a good deal on Sandisk Ultra 64gb cards or buy it at normal internet price. Using external cards have the added benefit of securing your information in case your phone craps out our you mess up flashing a rom.
$53 these days can more than double your memory these days.
I have the 32GB version and glad I got it. Yes, $50 for basically 16GB is a rip-off compared to sd card prices. On the other hand, I'm already down to 15GB of free space. Now, I also havent' tried to save space. I have at least 2 full nandroids (one stock, and one customized), plus a bunch of games + data. I also haven't put in an sd card yet. However, I also haven't gone crazy trying to fill it up, so this is after fairly normal usage.
Disclaimer: if I had to pay another $30 restocking fee, I'd probably just try to live with it.
I went with a White 32GB from VZW. I got the day they launched, there was a promo through Best Buy Mobile that got 25% off. So it made sense to get it, it made it cheaper than the 16gb. but to answer the question, i wanted the 32gb. More storage, fast load times, and hope higher resale value in about 6-8 months..

You can never have enough space. Just go for it. It's one of those things where if it's on your mind to even consider a 32gb over the 16gb, just do it or it'll linger in your head and drive you crazy

I had an older phone returned where I was told they had a different size. this is a little different, but I may call or write Retention and see if it can be refunded
As far as some ideas to just go with the larger sd card in place of the phone storage, that was the initial problem, the reason is that I wanna put all the music on the phone, which is where it has to be in order to use the Music Square feature.....which I like
As far as the sd cards go, I hear different things. I hear that it does handle 64gb micro sd, but that the 32 is preferred, and you may have to jump thru hoops for it to work, at the very least format it on the phone
Is that right, the 32 is best?

I've got a 16 gig phone. Installed the all my apps on the internal SD card and I still have 10 of the 12 gig left. I doubt I'll ever have 12 gigs of apps.
I just bought a Sandisk 64 gig card, plugged it in and started copying file to it. No Hoops. The S3 can use native xD format cards. The card was $54 delivered from Amazon. So, 59 actual gigs on the Ext card, plus 12 actual gigs on the int card, that's 71 actual gigs. Is that enough? It is for me.
Also remember that internal memory is generally faster than external memory.

Get the 32gb if you haven't already. I was going for the 16gb but fit the extra $50 32 was more than worth it. You can never have too much space!

I hinestly have all my music on my ext card and i have no issues... thats the whole point of that thing fir me is to hold my music videos and pictures... got a 32gig which is plenty. My gs3 is the 16 gig and anything that was internal i have moved to the external (related to media) and i have no problem accessing it with anything. I use google music and the miui music player for audio. And then video. Its whatever came with the phone.. lol i think google play movies or something

Space to move on the phone helps the speed (question), but space on the sd card does not help the speed correct?
Like I said, i wanna use music square, where there is no choice but to have the media on the phone, not the sd card
I would consider using Google Play again, especially stored in the 'cloud' if you will (is that a generic term now), but when you play it from there it is considered 'streaming' and uses your data, correct? needs to be stored on the phone/or sd card to not be considered streaming and using data?

I just got my second 32GB TF (first one stopped responding to touch, even after hard reset) and this one has dust under the screen and light bleed...(I was a naysayer..but the problems are REAL and not just some over exaggeration).
Anyway...I'm going to return the 32GB to BHPhoto...and managed to order a 16GB from Amazon today.
I still have some time to cancel and was debating...is the 16GB the right call? I've had the 32GB until now (since it was easier to get) and it was kind of nice knowing I had that space if I ever needed it...but do I NEED it? I realize the 16GB is expandable due to MicroSD, but onboard is always better.
How do you guys feel about the storage space?
I honestly think 16gb is a better choice as you're very unlikely to install so many apps to eat up that much space.. and you can the $100 ultra to get a decent 32gb micro sd card!
I do wish you would make up your mind with your 'stories', because over on another thread you had already bought a tab 10'1 in NY and there's no mention of also ordering another AT from Amazon.

That's not true.
If you ever want to move files from device to device all you have to do is pop out the card on one device and into another.
I would hate to wait for 16GB worth of data to be moved through USB.
The biggest files are media files so if you plan on keeping a lot of movies on your tablet at one time, then the bigger storage is probably best.
Though, the way we are headed, everything will be streamed/downloaded through cloud anyway.

Exactly my way of thinking as well. Go for the lower end and make it even BETTER than the higher ended one by getting a 32GB CLASS 6 MSD Card.

I personally bought the 16 GB because the 32 GB was sold out @ BB. I figured that I could always expand my memory via micro SD.
to me it doesn't make a ton of sense to add more onboard memory when expansion is possible, cheaper and more convenient
16GB unless you really have tons of music/movies that you want to carry with you all the time. I already have a 32gb iPhone4 so I have no reason to store my music on the tablet. 16GB more than enough.
I personally went for the 32. Unlike a phone, the microSD and SD cards are accessible. I plan to use those like floppy drives of today. It's much faster to copy media directly to the cards from a computer and stick them into the pad than to try to sync or copy them via the pad. At one point, I was thinking that I can just upgrade. However, there will always be some apps that cannot be moved to the microSD.
Also, Amazon currently has the 32 for $499 and 16 for $449. $50 difference for onboard 16 is a no brainer.
I just bought a 16gb with the same mentality as some of the previous replies. I went with the cheaper alternative knowing that I could easily upgrade the storage with a Micro SD card if I started running out of space.

Does not follow that it is better. 48 may be more then 32 but it is less then 64. You don't think that people that buy the 32 gb model are then going to say "Aw I don't need a 32 gb Micro SD card, I have more then enough internal already". No they are going to say "I wish they had 64gb Micro SD card I can put in this thing".

Given Google music, and rentable movies that either stream or delete themselves after you watch them, I think Steve Jobs is on the right track. I have WiFi 95% of the places I go. 100% of the time on work days. With the Google music beta I have no music ON my tablet, but access to my entire collection with a network connection. The 16gb tablet has room for several movies, but once netflix and android market movies are fully functional I don't see the point of even bothering to rip a DVD into a format that will play. My conclusion? 16gb saved me $50 or more over the 32gb version. That pays for netflix for 6 months or so.
Got the 16gb, and got a 32GB microsd at 90$ (patriot 32gb class 10) looks great
If you really (x10) need memory, go for the 32GB model, otherwise, the 16GB model will do just fine.

Let's think about what you accused me of (starting a post about getting a tab 10.1). Was that me? No.
I decided to keep the 16gb from Amazon. External storage is all I need. Do any of the current folio cases have pockets to hold micro SD cards?
Problem with going low and using cards is it's a pain to maintain a desktop like atmosphere if I have some on board and some on a card and swap cards for something else and need access to what was on the other card. I have a mydocs folder under mysugarsync folder and sync it with my home computer. Considering a majority of my files are media/Office based, and mt TF replaced my laptop, I have a more complete setup without having to swap cards. I also had a bunch of gift cards and paid about $300 for the 32gb after returning the 16gb one so it wasn't a tough choice. I like card access, but swapping cards more often is not really my idea of efficient. Plus the slots are always open for use. Still wish the tablet had full size SD. Hate the trend towards micro on devices that have no justification for it. Considering the TF is wider than any other 10.1 with nothing else really under the hood in comparison, a full size SD should have been a no brainer.

I'm thinking of ordering a Nexus 4 but I'm confused about which version to order. Would 8GB actually be too less? How much actual storage space will I have, considering the space the OS and other required components will take?
I'm not planning to store any movies in my phone, nor store too many HD videos. Just some HD games and 4GB or so of music.
Any suggestions? Will I regret taking the 8gig version?

As they say when purchasing a TV, go one size bigger. But honestly for $50 more you get twice the storage. As apps update, some of them will also increase (maybe dramatically) in size. You want to make sure that you will have space for your favorite apps and the media you want on it.
You don't want to go down the line in the future and say to yourself "Why didn't I buy the 16GB!?!"
Those are just my thoughts on it. I bought my 16GB with that in mind.
I make 8gb work. Could I use 8gb more? Yes. I don't have very many apps on my phone (23 on Google Play), roughly 4gb of music playlists saved for offline and I have a gigabyte left of storage to download more apps or keep some more music. I do everything online and that is how I make it work. I also don't play games on my phone. It also helps that I'm rooted and probably have stripped 500mb of system apps from the stock ROM. I was on a tight budget and I'm happy with my phone, although at times 8gb cuts it very close after formatted memory, haha.

Yes there's nothing wrong with future proofing yourself if you can afford it as this phone has no SD card slot
I think the general rule is that if you ever doubt yourself in this situation, it's a safer route to stick with 16gb.
I have an 8gb and I was worried about the storage space. I'm amazed at how much you can save with 8gb. You have to learn to not save a bazillion nandroid backups and save as much as you can on some type of cloud or something. I'm using box.com and have hundreds of pics and files saved there. I've learned to just not save useless things. With that said if you play games a lot get the 16gb it can't hurt. BTW I ordered a 16gb on play store on the 13th which I've still yet to receive so I got a 8gb from craigslist for a price I couldn't away. I'm now planning on selling the 16 to a buddy of mine when I get it. I'm perfectly happy with my 8gb I am fully rooted and have a custom recovery which happens to take most of my used space and I still have Lil over 3GB.

I bought a 16GB because that's the smallest tier storage I've ever bought in all my phones, but I rarely use more than a couple gigabytes. The main reason is to not worry about storage at all vs managing your storage sometimes (like deleting Google Music Cache, disabling YouTube preloading etc.)
Besides the resale value, there is honestly no use for me with the 16GB.
It all comes to how you plan to use the device and consume content. I used to have 4GB of music, but honestly only listened to maybe 100MB worth at any given time... so once I truncated that, I've never had space issues with 8GB devices unless a long trip and I wanted some movies (but now I have a tablet for that).
As the title says, is it a bad idea to wait around for the 32gb S4 if I want to be able to flash a custom recovery and install custom ROMs? I've had my SII since release day and I've found that the 16GB internal storage is manageable, but leaves me constantly having to decide which apps are really worth keeping/constantly having to dig through files to clean up unnecessary files. With the S4 being so much less than a full 16GB I feel like this struggle for storage will be a constant annoyance. Is it a huge gamble to wait around for a 32gb version? Is it likely that AT&T will blacklist the current software preventing me from flashing back to an unlockable bootloader? I guess I'm also wondering how many people are in the same boat as me and if anybody has any inside information?
I'm not sure if it's a bad idea for you to wait, but I say yes. I got the S4 16gb model, with a class 10 32gb memory card. I'm happy with it. You can always increase the memory by purchasing a 32gb or 64gb memory card. Just know, the 128gb mem card is around the corner. Also, the SG S5 will most likely be available next year around this time, and able to handle a 128gb memory card. So you can wait or just the S4 that's available now and be done with it.

Google Music lets you upload and store like 22,000 songs for free. Use dropbox, box, Google drive ect for photos..
I don't even use SD cards anymore as when I purchased my Chromebook Pixel it came with 1TB of Google Drive space..
But as far as apps go, is the 9 or so gigs of useable space enough?
And I rely on the cloud for music and an SD for pictures so that isn't really an issue for me.

Damn...just looked up the hyperion (which I assume you have) and you've got me beat on that too... I do really like the note, but a 6" screen (as rumored on the note 3) is wayyyy too big for me. Cloud is only your friend when you have unlimited data and your not an audiophile...I would use up my 3gb data plan in a day if relied on the cloud...I only listen to high quality audio files nothing ender 320kbps but usually flac or occasionally wav...I have some music files that are over 800mbs (mixes) listen to that mix four times and my data is done...so in my case cloud is the enemy as it seems to be taking away sd cards from many phones
Ok...and to the op, I would wait until the day the unlock process is released...if still no word on the 32gb than get the 16gb. My reasoning behind this is you have nothing to worry about until the unlock process is released. Once its released than you have to start worrying about it because thats when they start working on a patch

I have unlimited data grandfathered in so that isn't a big issue for me. I tend to keep my audiophile qualities confined to my computer as that's where all my FLAC is stored. I mostly use my phone's music for the car which doesn't have a premium sound system so I can deal with lower quality streamed music.
My biggest concern with the wait was in fact a bootloader patch so it sounds like I have nothing to worry about. I'm impatient so I was almost hoping somebody would talk me into just going out and buying one now but I highly doubt I'll regret waiting for a higher capacity S4. Thanks for the advice.

Just put your music on the SD card?
The partitions in the GS4 are jiggled so that there's a lot more allocated for apps. It'll be tough to fill it up with apps as long as you put your music and videos on the microSD card.
Rumor has the 32gb coming out in a few wks. Plus Google I/0 is coming up soon.
I honestly would wait & then make decision.

You can always increase the memory by purchasing a 32gb or 64gb memory card. Just know, the 128gb mem card is around the corner. Also, the SG S5 will most likely be available next year around this time, and able to handle a 128gb memory card. So you can wait or just the S4 that's available now and be done with it.

I agree. I been waiting fir the 128gb card. The way cell phones are spitting out. By the time my 2 year contract is up the galaxy s6 will be out lol. And a 2oogb card.

I respectfully do not call something such as the cloud that requires data use (2GB data caps), drains more battery and requires a data connection always to use, a "friend". As an option, sure, but if choosing that over local storage, the cloud is more like a distant acquaintance you never really liked, but are stuck with them on a bus ride and can not escape from them
BTW, the actual usable storage ranges from 8 to 9gb and not 10. You need to leave about 500mb free so apps can update. If you are a gamer, or use large data file apps, the 8gb (aka 16gb) version is a poor choice. A 32GB S3 is a much better option, IMO. 18gb more free app storage and no annoying cloud tagging along on a bus ride.
So I pre-ordered a 32GB white version from Best Buy. They didn't have it on the 10th so I went ahead and bought a black one to tide me over. But I'm getting impatient for my white one.
Still not in at Best Buy. I'm told that they won't be in next week either.
But they have a white 16GB. I'm seriously considering buying it along with a 64 GB micro SD card and just call it a day.
My question is, is there any performance difference between the 2 storage sizes? Or does it just affect strict storage space.

There isn't any performance differences between the two. Unlike the nand that is used in SSDs, the storage used doesn't necessarily degrade when getting filling it up.
Just storage space. I'd hang for the 32 if you can. Don't do something rash just to have it today when in a few months you'll probably wish for more space.

Han... I agree with Wing on this one... I have a 32 gig note and I'm utilizing 10 gigs of it as of today. By the way, none of which are pictures or video, or for that matter too many games. I have a 64 gig sd card that I put my movies and pictures on.
So again, I'm utilizing 10 gigs out of the 32 gig storage that I have, that's just me, but if I were you I would wait for the 32 gig version

I would just have them ship it to the store and have them call you when it gets there. That way you don't have to pay for shipping, and can take advantage of the Best Buy return policies. There wouldn't be a performance issue based on the storage size. You've waited this long for the tablet to come out, what is a couple more days to wait for shipping? Play some GTA or watch some football till then. Life doesn't seize to exist because of a tablet.

Why? The 16 will be a lot cheaper and you can just throw a 64GB card in it for less than the price difference. Unless you anticipate NEEDING 96GB of storage instead of 80 somehow, lower built-in storage + external card is always the best option.

I disagree. It's $50 difference between 16 and 32 GB. You can break it down like this; If you keep and use the tablet for 24 months, it's an extra $2 a month!
I don't like moving apps to external memory, since not all apps support this feature. When I had my 16GB S4, I was constantly removing apps to make way for new apps. I hated that..
Also, the note does not have 16GB available to the user; it's more like 10GB.

So store all your files and whatnot on the external. You'd have to have hundreds and hundreds of apps to use up the full internal just on those.
Fifty bucks. You can get a 64gb micro SD card shipped for that. Keep all your media on there, apps on the internal, and for the same price you have 2.5x the storage.
The only way I ever filled up my s3 was downloading all my rdio music onto it. How could you possibly be filling up the device from apps? I've never in my Android life had so many apps I needed to move them to the card.

Not at all. I'm saying that MOST people have no need for 96GB of storage and could save money by getting the 16 and a card of whatever size they'd like. It bugs me when people are stubbornly insisting that they NEED to spend more money on something when they don't.
Okay, so you install Vice City and five more copies of it, and that still leaves you with about a gig and a half to do whatever with. Put all your music/movies/downloads/documents/whatever on the external and bingo bango you saved money AND had more space.
What SHOULD happen in Android is that they embrace external storage and make it easier to put stuff on the external card. What happens INSTEAD is we end up reinforcing the "tiered storage size" model like Apple and next thing you know more tablets and phones have NO external storage, and it costs $100 extra just to go up 16GB in size.
I'm not arguing this just because it's the internet and I like being contrary, it's because I really do have a reason to be promoting people getting the smaller model plus microSD.

dude, you're posting on XDA, not android4newbs. Most of us are power users who want and use more space.
If 16GB works for you, then cool. If someone wants to spend $50 for another 16GB, I don't see how that would bug you.
I'm the biggest fan of removable storage - That's why I choose Samsung, but preaching to all that MOST don't need more than 16GB because YOU don't use more than 16GB is just silly.
Also $50 is relative. To me $550 vs. $600 is not that big of a deal.

You're 100% right. I was speaking more toward someone who thinks 16GB isn't enough and wants 32. If you want 32, save a couple bucks and get the card. If you need ALL the space, then yeah get the 32 and a 64 card, but unless you need 96GB why spend the extra money?

There's an added benefit, too. Let's say I buy a 16GB model and a 64GB card. Then in a year a new model comes out. I can once AGAIN get the 16GB model and stick my card in there. So not only did I save $50+ on the current one, but I saved it on the next one. It's savings that add up, and afford me the opportunity to get new devices! :laugh:
But again, it's about getting what YOU need. I'm sure some of you guys really DO need massive storage, in which case I really look forward for the day when these bad boys can take 128's.

I had a lot more typed, but then I thought back on it and you do make a damn good point. Once you're over $500 it starts to turn kinda irrelevant, LOL. No matter how you slice it, I have NEVER been happier with a tech purchase. I actually was unsure I wanted a tablet AT ALL before I got the 2012 version of the Note 10.1, and that was awesome enough, but the new one? Sublime. 16 or 32, whatever. Buy it, enjoy. Is it perfect? Naw. Better than any other tablet I've played with? By a long shot. I used this thing side by side with the Nexus 10 and don't wish I'd gone the other way in the slightest.

Im so glad I sprung for the '14 model. The Samsung perks was a nice touch as well.

You made the right choice, yeah. Is it just me or does the Nexus 10 feel like a Fisher Price toy by comparison? The 2014 feels like an executive briefcase to me, the Nexus 10 is a high school backpack. I hate the rubber back on it and the rounded corners. Seriously I opened the box of the 2014 up and was just like "oooohhh god I want to hold it even when it's not on."
I sold my Nexus 10 two weeks ago to get this and I'm so glad i did. This is definitely THE tablet to get now and it's a night and day difference compared to the Nexus 10.

Too many apps just don't take advantage of SD card abilities. SNote and Evernote are perfect examples. My Lecture Notes folder on my SD card is already at 1GB. After taking the system into account the 16 you should have 10GB available before use. That's really not that much. The 32GB model only gives you 26GB to start with. And yes I also have a 64GB card.

I'm getting one tomorrow and was also debating the 16 vs 32 question. But then I was checking out local stock in my area online and most stores are only selling the 32GB version. Problem solved, lol.
I should just listen to my own advice - I always tell people it's better to have more storage than you need, rather than "just enough". And in this case, a $50 difference isn't really that much.

I've had my 32GB Nexus 6 since 11/19 and am really liking it. I have over 25 GB still after loading all my typical music and apps. At this point, I'm not really sure I want a 64 GB--though I had initially wanted one--even didn't try to buy a 32GB the 1st week looking only at the elusive 64's.
How many of you 32'ers out there still want more memory?
I've always had either a 8GB or 16GB phone, 32GB is already a step up for me. Even with 16GB I never filled the phone up. I'll typically have some pictures and music on my phone, I don't have a need to keep a bunch of stuff on there that I'm not using. If I needed to go over 32GB's there would be a lot of stuff on my phone that I never use.
I was originally pining for the 64GB, but just to have the best of the best.
My Nexus 7 is 32, and I've never come close to filling it. I'm sure that's different for everyone, but with cloud services galore I need very little storage for shot vids and pictures. With all apps installed and 20+GB to spare, I no longer regret my decision or want a 64GB model.
The 64 would just mean 32gb worth of extra crap wasting room.
I don't store much locally other than backups, so I have plenty of room.
I had a 32gb LG G3 with a 64gb Micro SD in it before the Nexus 6. I used approximately 5gb on the card and maybe the same on the phone. More than 32gb is overkill for me since I don't put music on the phone and I don't download tons of games.
I haven't pulled the trigger on the N6 yet, awaiting to see how VZ will screw me over...
On the side though, currently using a GNex, I never filled it up either, have about 10Gb free, however that said, I haven't loaded games or a lot of apps onto it, only what I need, and if not used often I uninstall basically to not have to deal with any background processes that may run due to an app being installed.
But given the choice, and I hope I am, I'll likely settle on the 64Gb, because I typically only have one phone at a time, and keep it longer then what most of us here would consider normal, I mean, I'm hitting three years on the GNex, and figure I'll be doing the same if it is an N6, so for a few bucks more grab the extra storage, easier than wishing I had it IF I fill up a 32Gb ...
Got my 32 blue today and it is more than enough. I don't store movies or play games and i only store about 2-4 gigs of music and it gives me enough space to do a ROM backup, etc.

I have had a Nexus 5 with 32 GB for about a year, and it almost always has > 20GB free. I figured if I never used all the memory on the N5 I sure didn't need twice as much on the N6, so I went with the 32. I'm sure it will be more than enough.
Would I have loved getting a 64GB? Yes but the 32GB will do just fine for me. Coming from a Note 2 I barely used any space on the internal storage and I really only used about 15GB on my 64GB micro sd card. I mostly stream my music so I won't have to worry about that. I also don't keep numerous roms on my device storage either. Worst case scenario I'll just by an OTG flash drive if I really need the space.
Well I was going to wait for the 64 version from ATT.....then my local store received a big shipment of one last night...so I impulse bought it lol. I didn't have an issue with my N5 16GB, so I think I'll just stick with it.
I have more than 21 GB available, so I'm sure I'll be just fine with the 32 GB.

now that I found that you can use an external micro usb sitck as external storage... I connect the usb stick, when on the wireless charging pad for additional power draw of the stick, and use it just for nandroid backups and tibu dump site. then remove it, relieving the 32gb onboard just to do phone stuff. plenty of room now.:good:

It depends how you use your phone... personally i have no issue what so ever with 32GB... in fact i had 8 GB free on my 16GB Nexus 5 , so 25GB ( usable ) is a **** tonne for me
I use Spotify for music and plex for movies , so a lot of streaming on my end
I returned my 32gb and ordered a 64gb... But I'm getting tired of waiting and may just cancel my order and say screw it and just use my iPhone 6.. T-mobile's order process sucks.!
