my sony minipro with ics4.04 (root),
seems to have an prob. with vpn.
when i try to use vpncilla it brings me an error that the vpn.api is not
installed,
Exception Error:
Unable to find activity class
{com.android.vpndialogs/com.android.vpndialogs.ConfirmDialog); have you declared this activity in your AndroidManifext.xml?
Error: the devices Android firmware seems to have an incomplete VPN API.
an similar error i get with the NCP Secure CLient.
Is it possible that sony removed some Api`s out of the stock ics FW?.
How can i check and fix it?

I have installed an 4.01.15 ENG rom from http://lumpistefan.dyndns.org/.
And now I can't install any other ROM with the following error:
ERROR: GetDeviceData - An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote
host.
error getting devicedata
I know its a known problem however from what ive seen it only happens when trying to downgrade. Well I'm trying to install a newer version and this still happens.
What can be done?

Yes your right it's a well known problem bcz you used the T-mobile rom 4.01.16, You just need to flash back your unit using the Sd method.

The problem is taht i dont have an SD nor an SD reader/writer.

Im trying to update my Wallaby ( Gradiente Partner - Brazil) ROM with special edition ROM, but adaptrom trow a message "unsupperted language PTB". This because my ROM is a PPC 2002 in Portuguese Brasillian. So i picked up the source code of adaptrom to work on it. Installed pocket pc 2002 sdk, open the project and modified the includes and lib directories. But when i compile , i got these errors

Generaly they happen when utilizing a diferent libraries and/or target builds.
Someone could help-me on create a development enviroment to compile the source code?. im using Visual studio 2005 Express beta.
When starting GPS-app Copan.exe on my Windows CE 5.0 Core based device, I get
Fatal Application Error
A security error of unknown cause has been detected which has corrupted

Can anyone point me out why this error happens and how to overcome it?

I installed vpnc from code.google.com/p/get-a-robot-vpnc.
I followed an howto (in german) for galaxy s (ip-phone-forum.de/showthread.php?t=222417&page=1) and tried to connect to my fritzbox 7390..
But I get an error when I want to connect to my vpn.
Error: application VPN Connections stopped unexpectedly.
The application requires tun.ko, which already is in the modules folder - al least with kyrillos 5.7.
As I'm unsure where to find the error I first wanted to ask if anybody ist using this app successfully - eventually with the patches provided in the mentioned howto.
