[Q] Networking via USB

Hi all,
I'm wondering if the USB port of TF101 would work with any form of networking device ? I'm referring to devices like RJ45 to USB or 3G USB modem or even P2P USB cables... Anyone had tried and came back with any form of success ?

Ethernet connection

Hi,
I was hoping to use a wired ethernet connection to my N7.
I was reading it was possible and I happen to have the cables from before. A micro usb to usb female and then a usb to ethernet adapter. Mine is based on ADM 8515 and it doesn't work.
I haven't rooted or done anything else yet.
I have seen reports that another usb to ethernet adapter works, based on AX88772.
Anyone managed to get this to work? Does it work out of the box with the AX88772? Anyone managed to get it to work with this ADMTek one, or any other chipset?

Bypass USB Problem.

Hello, sorry for my English.
You can use USB devices with high power consumption such as LAN adapters in the Galaxy Note N800?
Using a LAN adapter in a Chinese tablet from 100 euro without problems.
How is it that a tablet less able to do things that the N8000 does not it?
And 'possible to bypass the problem?
Thank you.
ADE-X1 /w N8000
Axago ADE-X1 USB LAN adapter doesn't work with my N8000.
I don't think there is any possibility to "bypass" the problem

[Q] sm- t530nu MHL/screen mirroring

Hey Everyone,
I just recently purchased a SM-t530nu,apple magic trackpad, apple wireless keyboard and a AUVIO Universal MHL Adapter. My goal was to be able to attach it to my HDTV and sit back and browse with my trackpad and keyboard. The keyboard and trackpad work great, no problems there. The issue i'm having is the MHL adapter does not seem to work for me. It has a micro USB plus and a "s" adapter that says it is for a Samsung galaxy s 3. I have tried it with and without the adapter and no luck. From the information I have read this model does support MHL. Is it simply the AUVIO one I am using or have I misread and this infact DOESNT support the MHL feature. It is the tab 4 10.1" as I am sure most of you know from the model number. Has anyone successfully used a MHL adapter to connect this model with a TV? If so could you possible share a link/ model number of the one I will need to make it work? Im also curious about the screen mirroring feature i've noticed in my settings. What would be the CHEAPEST device available to use this feature? Thanks in advance for the help everyone!

USB HOST is not supported yet, so nothing besides the USB Charging/Data cable will work
[Edit] Whoops I thought it said SMT230NU, never mind but I don't know though

connect Android with LAN - ethernet driver download

Hi,
I have a problem with connecting my Android device (Samsung Galaxy A5 SM-A510F (2016)) via a ethernet adapter and a OTG cable with LAN.
I bought an ethernet adapter and an OTG cable on ebay.
I rooted my Galaxy A5 successfully.
I downloaded the apps "BusyBox" and "Ethernet" (the app "Ethernet" should enable all settings needed to get USB ethernet). This app does not come with any drivers!
I also tried to connect my device using an active USB hub.
However, you obviously need the ethernet driver on the smartphone (which is not yet installed on Galaxy A5).
Does anybody know how I can get this driver?
Or does something else cause the problem?
Are there some better apps for connecting a device to LAN? (for example one which already comes with ethernet drivers)
Thanks for your efforts!
Best regards,
Simon
