Jelly Bean - Galaxy Tab General

Is some developer working on jelly bean (android 4.1) for GT-P1000 (unofficial)? Will it be compatible for GT-P1000?

We already have plenty of topics on this already, use search.
To answer your question, yes ofcourse you will see a rom for it. JB is only small updates on top of ICS, its not a big upgrade or rewrite.

sure?
cause the libaudio's and graphic drivers are upgraded from jellybean.
u need to merhe them with the kernel drivers to get them working

I would imagine JB might be worked on, after we get the 3.* kernel ported in a somewhat usable state

[Request] Android Jelly Bean 4.1

Guys, I Hope someone will work on JB rom for u8800/u8800pro when codes will be released.. it's all I can say..
The source code for Android 4.1 Jelly Bean doesn't is available for now, you can see if the source code is available here: http://source.android.com/
I know man, mine was just a request/hope for the future, 'cause i was thinking to sell my u8800pro and buy a Nexus s, but if someone could make me sure about JB on our mobile i won't sell it. I know maybe, my request is a bit inappropriate..
I think in time there will be people working on it, so don't give up hope...yet ...actually there is already an sdk port

This has been posted before but untill we have working drivers for ICS we cant get JB to work on our devices, and even with drivers the Audio Hal has changed in JB so we might need to re-work it to ger sound. I sure we will have it on our devices but its a matter of time. Lets wait for source or the devs to get drivers for ICS.

Android 4.2 !!! xD

Guys good news the latest version of android released on Google io 2012 October is 4.2 and not 5.xxx.
yeppy now we can expect the latest android on our phone .....
*you are not nice*
its a good news isn't it. ?? Google didn't launch android 5 ,which is for sure too much for our device... ( x8 can't run android 5.xx)
We dont know if this is good o bad news...coz there is no spurce for android 4.2

doesn't always mean that its gonna run 4.2 .. Our device can barely run 4.1.1, and with the multiple accounts featured on the 4.2, i don't think any of the developers would even try and port 4.2 for our device, and honestly, even 4.1.1 is still WIP and has bugs..
h'm.
4.2 has better chance than 5.xx right???
so this thread was just to inform people that 4.2 is out and not 5.xx....
p.s - you already knew Google will release 4.2 instead 5.xx??

Are there any non beta jelly bean roms?

Curious if there are any non beta jelly bean roms (built on final release of JB), or ones that I should look out for in development. Is there a daily driver jelly bean rom where everything works yet?
I use my thanks button!
Non beta jb? Ics roms or barely non beta. So in other words no. But if you are patient they can be used as a daily driver
Not sure what you would call them other than beta, but I mean aside from the jellybean roms that were out before they shipped the final version of jb on actual phones.
All ICS and JB ROMs on this phone are "beta", since there is no official ICS/JB for it, hence no official kernel sources, hence problems with kernel.
Gotcha, I misinterpreted what they meant by beta, so there will not be any optimizations with any more recent jelly bean roms now that it's officially released on phones?
