I have an X and I am using a Steel Droid Rom with GB 2.3.7 does anybody know if I can flash a different kernel ???

[Q] [L7] need help for making kernel

Hi guys, thats my first post
I have ported an paranoid ROM to my l7. The Problem: It won't Boot up, so I need a kernel for this ROM.
So could somebody help me making this kernel?
Paranoid Version: 3.10 (4.2.2)
Ported from HTC One V
I AM A NOOB
If you need the Rom just write it i will upload it

hello,, u can use the Kernal for the base rom, just extract and combine it to ur port rom using kitchen

ok i have tryed it with the base cm10.1 kernel but it wont work.
is there any tut for doing this with the android kitchen?

I've also tryed With another Kernel it's stuck on the Boot animation
Is it possible To get a logcat?
Or should I use LGs stock kernel?

ur using a 4.2 rom,their are may roms avaliable in the forum,,you can extract a kernal from them ,did u replace the boot image fully or the specific kernal?

dude u just need to clear the dalvik cache and then ur rom will start!! :good:
