I went to the nearest retail store today to ask if they knew when they would be getting the 32gb version - all they could guarantee is that they will have the 16gb on the 27th (which supports what the flagship store here told me last Thursday).
They said they haven't been sent a barcode or anything for the 32gb version yet and have no clue when it will actually launch.
Have you guys heard anything different from your local stores?
I doubt they will sell the 32gb in stores. It's a web only purchase though T-mobile website even though they are out of stock at the moment.
Just got off the line with customer service and they said that the 32gb would be available sometime this week in the stores. No clue how accurate that is but she said they typically don't sell off-contract phones over the phone that is more than $350 and that the retail store is my best bet at getting the full retail phone. And she was aware I only wanted a 32gb and not the 16gb.

Okay just called the one in three stores in Colorado that had them in stock (all sold out of course) and asked and the lady said it was a 50/50 of whether or not they would get them in for the 27th. She thought that they would only be sold online. Conflicting stories on both ends so who knows. Hopefully they will get them in stock.
the local non flag ship store told me they would only be getting the 16gb in both colors on the 27th anand wouldn't be getting a 32 any time soon if not are all.

It really ticks me off that Samsung partitioned it into 12gb/12gb. Now I would have to have three locations to store data. I see why people are saying 16+64 is enough for storage. I don't have to want to deal with 12+12+64 partitions. i don't think there is a way to repartition the internal storage into one chunk at the moment.

I'm not sure now if the 32gb makes practical sense for me with the partitioning.
T-mobile web site is now showing "buy now" for the 32gb models if people are still tracking this.
They told me on the 27th.
i'm currently logged into my TMO account and i'm shopping for new phones for shizzle and giggles: the 32GB phones DO NOT appear for me. the 16GB blue phones do show availability & immediate shipping, but the white version DOES NOT.

yeah. i was using the actual order page for upgrading or buying a new phone for a current TMOUS account. but i see on the page you linked shows the white 16GB available for purchase. but the 32GB phones are also showing "sold out" just like i saw on the upgrade page.

Apparently, the 32 GB model will be available online via the Web only—not in stores or via Customer Care. At the moment, it shows out of stock.
And bad news for me and possibly others: because it's online only, those out of contract or on a Value plan will have to pay full price, up-front—no Equipment Installment Plan).

He just means he's not committing to a year of service, so he's free to cancel and sell the phone at anytime. If Verizon offered contract-free pricing, I'd do this too but since they don't the one year price sounds like the best bargain.

You want to chose the month to month option. This will allow you to purchase the phone at full retail price.
I pre-ordered mine through Best Buy. I like their warranty program better. It cost a little more, but there is no deductible. Just bring in broke phone, walk out with new.
Pre-ordered mine first thing on Monday morning. Switching over from the dreadful AT&T service.

Hi guys, I pre-ordered mine on the 19th but they still haven't charged my card. Should I have been charged or are they waiting till it ships to charge me? Has this happened to anyone else? I just want to make sure I'm not the only one.
Most stores when you preorder something, it won't come out til it ships. I just ordered mine last night, gonna go the route of not paying my whole bill for a few months, take a couple late charges.

being that it comes with a months free unlimited service, he didnt really overpay by that much and he wont have to sign a new contract or renew his original one. not really that bad of a deal if u do the math..............................

Yes. Free unlimited tethering, calls, data, and messaging. Pretty much anything except international calls. The trial runs out June 20 according to the Sprint flier that came with it.
I pickedi t up today at 10AM! First impression when i opened the box was holy **** thats a big screen, so far i LOVE the phone its sleek the screen looks amazing and is SUPER fast absolutely no lag. Now i can have a phone that'll make people with iPhone's jealous!

The reason i ask is because I asked my seller about that form and he said that he didn't have it. he said that it might be packaged with the phone itself. He never opened the phone's packaging. So I told him that I'd just find out when i receive it.

Well it depends on where he would have gotten the phone from. Sprint $450..you can say he probably overpaid, $500 RS....you can say he overpaid, BB...I don't think he overpaid. i think its a great deal if you think about it.
Free everything for a month, no contract....etc.
And plus I'm sure there will be big shortage of these phones when they release. I stopped at the bestbuy by my house earlier today and the Rep there told me that this is the biggest preorder they ever had. I'm not sure if he was just talking about this particular store or Bestbuy in general. Just like the Incredible and the iPad this will be backordered. And if you think paying $670 is too much ....wait until June 4th
I think if you really want the phone, you saved up for the phone or whatever if you got the money then go ahead and get it. Because getting one on the 4th is not guaranteed.
Not to reign on some peoples parades of cost, but depending on the store, they may not sell you a phone off contract. I Lou of holding out for new customers and upgrades. Happened to me when I wanted a pre had to hold out a month for when online orders came around
If you want to preorder your GS3 you can do so now at Best Buy, only for T-Mo/AT&T/Verizon. No special packages or freebies announced at this time and a $50 deposit is all thats needed.

Not for me. My family and I are on a 4 line family plan, i'm opening a 5th line to get this at the discounted price that way when my daughters line is up for upgrade (in July) I will just have her plan ported over to the new line and drop her old line so we're back down to 4. I'd rather handle this at a local store/branch just in case any issues arise.

Same here....I called Best Buy Mobile a couple hours ago to see if they could give me an order status and maybe a solid launch date...I got neither. Oh well, I'll follow up on the 21st and go from there. I'm done wondering and worrying
AT&T site had trouble with Premier preorders for the first hour or so then they fixed the site. I was struggling to get my order through and had worked with both chat and phone support to finally get the order after about an hour of effort.
Today I saw a screen cap of another persons order and it showed the Free HTC Media Link HD Wireless HDMI Adapter. My order only has the phone and the sim.
I called AT&T and they said you must not have selected to add the free accessory. I told them there was no option to do it and I have the chat record from the person walking through the order. They basically said too bad - your mistake. So I asked for a supervisor who also pushed back saying all I could do is cancel and reorder but that would move me to the back of the line.
After logically walking through the issue she offered to add a note to my account saying if the Media Link HD came back in stock within one month they would ship it to me for free but I would have to follow up to see if it is available....
So if you are on a Premier account I suggest you check your order status to see if you got the Media Link HD.
or just call them again since you ordered the first 1-2 hours when it was buggy and its not your fault. just be assertive and persistant. be calm and theyll give it to ya
When I preordered from the ATT website on the first day (around 1630 EDT) the media link was automatically added to my cart, and $90 removed from the cost of the phone to make up the difference. There was nothing for me to check or uncheck.

Are you sure you ordered it from the premier website? I noticed this happened when I mock ordered from the main AT&T site, but the premier site adds a note that says you need to specifically add the Media Link to your order.
I also ordered from the premier site at about 9PM EST on the 4th. By then, the Media Link was out of stock. I called AT&T, but didn't have any luck in getting it added to my order.
im a premier account holder and it ordered my media link fine. it was sold out the first day they opened preorders and i was able to order the evening of the 5th. the first day i tried it said i had to add the media link manually and when i got to that step it was sold out. when i tried the next day it added the media link automatically and showed it in my cart right before checking out.

There was an issue that I noticed with the premier site when it first went live late that afternoon for the ability to order. There was no Media Link about 30 minutes later all the accessories for it were added including the Media Link to select and get free. You are correct it was not in your order and you will not automatically receive it unless you added it.
I called AT&T and they explained the HD Link is sold out so you can't add it to your cart for the free discount.
We have 3 days left for the promotion and here is what I did:
Call a local AT&T store and ask if they have an HD Link in stock. If they do, go there and pre-order the HTC One and they will give you the HD Link as part of the promotion. I did this today and they gave me the HD Link, but alas, they would not give me the phone so it will ship to me.
There are two things that differ from ordering from a store instead of Premiere site:
1) You get charged the full sales tax of the no contract price if you buy in CA. That cost me another $28 in taxes (for the 64GB model).
2) Store cannot give you the $25 equipment discount that the Premiere website gives.
I basically ended up paying $53 for the HD Link. I also learned an interesting thing today. If you have a Premiere discount to your phone/data plan there is one catch. If you add another line with a phone you already have (for example, you buy a dev version of the HTC One), the new line is put on a 2 year contract with the same penalties as if you bought the phone form AT&T. I was completely unaware of this because all my phones so far where purchased from AT&T with the contract discount.
BTW, the HD link is nice since it comes with an HDMI cable and extra charger (just like the one with the phone).

Thats quite subjective, its 11/28 over here already and I'm sure the rep would let it pass by being only several hours if you're on the west coast. You ordered weeks ago.
I wish I could get it when I buy it from T-Mobile tomorrow, lol.

Just my opinion but with as bad as this launch has been, Google should be offering this promo to anyone that was able to even buy a N6.

They really should be. Mine hasn't even shipped yet and they've already offered a better deal.

Is this just through Google when you purchase your phone or do you get it also when purchasing from a carrier?
Yeah Google and Moto failed at the N6 release. I just finally got a working N6 today. I should be able to get the $50.00 dollar Play Store credit!

I got mine from AT&T and so far it's fine. I've been going back and forth with the Edge. O would like that credit.

I just asked two representatives, and they both said that this was only valid for Google Play Store purchases.

i had that opinion as well, and emailed google about it. they were having none of it. denied after 3 attempts. f them
That is technically a $50 credit to make up for Sprint charging $50 more for 32GB version... if Sprint is dropping the ball Google felt they do not want to drop it and offered this.
If someone orders via Google Play, then great, but all who purchased devices from google play should be eligible since return policy still applies until 14 days are up... but, who would return the phone back because of $50 credit...
I may sweet talk their rep into getting the credit since they are shipping me the replacement due to Vertical and horizontal lines banding on my initial phone I got...
Besides that this phone is an absolute phone of today's market!!! Must have, and yes it is big
I called google about this a few hours ago. I told them I had ordered my nexus on Nov. 5 and just recently saw the $50 play credit. They transfered me to a nexus 6 device rep and he wasn't able to give me the $50 because i got it before the promo but he hooked me up with a $25.

Sprint doesn't charge more for the 32GB version anymore.
