For the Noob like myself to flash and add calling to your Tab

Hi everyone I have readed all the threads regarding flashing/hacking/fixing
first of all i have try to do this odin and with the the flash but found out it wasn't that eazy first
when i went to get my tab into downloading screen the computer can't find the dumb tab thats connected.
if you have that problem what i did.
first i disconnected the usb fromthe tab and click on setting/applications/development/ and click the usb debugging check mark it will not let you check it if you have the usb plug in (Im dumb so i found out the hard way) then installed the samsung kies ( i don't knwo if that helped or not but i just did everything that i could find to try to get this to work which was to connect the tab to the computer when the tab is on downloading mode)
now i started odin3 and it show that the yellow box showing it was connected.
started the with the normal p1 hidden pit /gt-p100/modem p1000
i was thinking yes i'm on my way but hold on it freezed on me. and just stop with a error and odin tells me it fail. but on my tab it show that its at 50%
so what i do i hard reset my tab and now the next problem
the famuse 3 icon the phone/ <!>/ computer Icon
i was oh ****. so what i did form that screen i turn on my odin and it show its still connected. so what i did was try to do the same thing again but nothing just error.
so the next thing i did was open odin and just run modem.bin file which is the modem_beni9000 file and with that i was about to get a splash screen the Samsung Tab ... and nothing else. well from there i figure ill try to finish the process. when i got the samsung tab screen i was able to get into the download screen again with power + down volum and i'm in the download screen and still the tab is connected to the computer and the odin still reconize that its connected so i ran the P1000XXJK5 and bam... i was able to get my tab back and was able to get the phone icon and working. i might be lucky that it work but if your in the same problem as what i was in i hope it help. i no expect after the 2 days of reading and trying stuff i'm no noob now still call myself noob PM if u need to ask quest ill be happy to help as much as possible ^^

Samsung Note 3[SM-N900] [Fix] [Help required] (Problem (Black screen) (ota) (kies 3))

I have got a samsung galaxy note 3 (sm-n900) recently. When i wanted to software update the samsung by using the settings it said "Your device has been modified" or something like that and i did try to remove the custom status on the phone but i couldn't. That lead me to kies 3 which was the samsung application which i used to update the samsung galaxy note 3. I did what it said"Do not remove the plug/usb wire off the samsung note 3. The update was successful but when i turn it on it only shows the boot logo (Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900). After that it would show only a black screen. I already did what i can: Wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache partition. PS: The android system recovery works because it showed me a android with a gears really qucikly and then showed me a android on the floor with a red exclamtion mark sign. Then it would show this: http://imgur.com/BDkmq1M
Please help me. :crying:
Thank you for helping.

Download mode stuck + dead display... need help for information backup

I WAS proud owner of Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo - GT I9301. Before 2 days i accidentaly dropped it and broken its display (black screen). Because of that fact i bought another Samsung gAlaxy s3 neo, but there was problem - all of my information was in the old s3 neo which as i said was with broken screen. I've done my best to recover the info (my phone was bootlooping but after some times it started and even my laptop detected it as a flash drive) with program named "Wondershare Dr.Fone for Android".... My attempts were in vain because nothing happened and was very dissapointed. I've downloaded program named "Samsung Data Recovery" but it said that the phoned must be turned on. I've tried to do that but nothing happened. This time the phoned doesnt want to call the starting "signal.... I've opened again the Wondershare Dr.Fone for Android and realised that the s3 neo was stuck into download mode. How i can get my information when my phone is stucked into download mode and it is with dead display?

Need some help to get tab 4 7. st230nu running again

Hello every one,
I'm looking for some help I have a samsung tab 4 7.0 sm-t230nu that was running 4.4.2. (My 15 yr daughters) and got the tab back from the cop shop it came back wiped and wont boot! gets as far as samsungs logo and stops. Has twrp on it. I have tried to load stock rom as of right now I dont see this going to happen as it sits. I linked tab to my computer running win 10 and odin sam drivers down loaded and computer does not see this tab I can link the wifes tab 4 and it sees hers so I know usb and computer, drivers, Odin are good to go. One question that I have is can I back up the wifes tab on a sd card and reboot my daughters tab with that sd card? or do I need to get in to down load? I have spent 5 days on this site looking for answers that I could not find in other posts before asking for help.
Thanks for any info you could give me.

Tab A SM-T355Y in Bootloop, cannot access Recovery. Help (please)?

So I gifted my mother a Galaxy Tab (SM-T355Y) a few years back and it was behaving fine until a few weeks back. Now it gets in an infinite bootloop when we try turning it on (I see the black screen with Galaxy Tab written in white, and it boots again and again) and it simply won't budge. I cannot access recovery in this state as pressing the required buttons still keep me in the loop.
Now flashing the stock firmware on Odin would be the logical go-to in such case, but I cannot get Odin to recognize the device when plugged in on Download mode. I keep getting a message saying 'Windows doesn't recognize the device', but it recognizes my S10 perfectly and I did install all necessary drivers when I had plugged in my S10 for the first time.
I think the drivers for both S10 and the Tab should be the same. Am I missing something here? I hate it when I'm not able to fix an android device myself, but I seem to have hit a roadblock in this case.
PS: I don't come from a tech background and I've learnt all things android on XDA, so excuse any gaps in my understanding.
Cheers!
