1. Goto Development Thread
2. Read...
3. Decide what features you want
4. Download, install, try....
imho: Wanam Lite

Try as many as you want, it's all about personal choice - one rom doesn't suit all. But, they are all good.

It's so subjective it's impossible to answer. Each to there own.

go to the threads and watch the videos or read the descriptions that way youll get what you like and not what anyone else does but i like wanam ROM

Please download and flash and see which one you like.
Opinions are going to vary and more than likely this will cause an argument.

ROM to flash

I'm new to android. Just got a S4 l337 few weeks ago. I've my phone rooted, CWM loki'd. I'm now not sure which ROM I should be installing. I want clean, smooth and stable ROM. Pls suggest me one. I'm using T-mobile BTW. Thanks a lot
Touchwiz roms are located in the Android Development section and aosp roms can be found in the original development section. Read upand try out a few (assuming you've already made a backup).
These "which rom is best?" threads are usually shut down quickly. It's best to just form your own opinion on which rom works best for you.
Cheers

No one can answer that for you. You'd have to try out both to see how they fit to your liking.
Carbon or LiquidSmooth all the way!

[Q] Im new. THE BEST ROM?

wanted to know which is the best rom note 2, without failure, better battery usage, performance, and features of note 3 (this is not as necessary) from already thank you very much
Hurricane v5 is the best.
If yoy want even more smoothness and stability, then go for an mj5 rom for example ditto note 3 v2... but you will have to flash the new bootloader... if you dont mind it then ditto note 3 v2 is the best

Kindly know that,
1) No 'Best Rom' questions in XDA
2) Wrong section to ask a question
Each ROM is a result of a developers hard work, hours of toiling, brainstorming and bugfixing. To condemn a ROM based on a users opinion is wrong, and "Best" threads aren't permitted on XDA
Try each ROM, who knows, maybe you'll fall in love with an unexpected one. To each his own

LG stock Rom is complete beast.
I had Sony Xperia Arc and the device got slower and slower for each official update. Marketing strategy.

Best threads are frowned upon.

currently my opinion is du and mahdi. Houston, omnirom and mokee. Their all in development but are pretty stable and fun to test. The first four have stocklike batterylife. Which is really good. And great performance.
I recommend to try them on for size, at own risk.
granted stock is awesome also

What is a good stock based rom with tweaks like debloated and stuff? I want to be able to tether unlimited like I can on my wife's note 2.
Sent from my SGP311 using xda app-developers app
So this means i must flash stock back and stock is the best for G2
Oh yes can somebody tell me what is the different between D80210E_00 and D80210A_00 i know D80210E_00 is newest but what is new in this update does anybody have changelog?

Something almost everyone can agree is that stock is the best on term of stability. Rest of stuff that people tell you why stock is the best is just their opinions.

"What is the best ROM" "Which ROM do you use the most" etc are bad thread topics and will result in this thread being locked, Ask a moderator if you don't believe me.
Mahdi rom is the best for me, give it a try
As you can see, everyone has their own opinion of "Best" and this is why these threads are closed and not allowed
Only YOU can decide what is BEST for YOU by backing up and trying a few.

Samsung galaxy s5 custom rom

Hi guys newbie here, why should I install a custom rom such as cyanogenmod on my phone?
Sent from my SM-G900F using XDA Free mobile app
Simply because stock roms contain lots of bloatware and that would hinder the performance of gs5. And custom roms like cyanogenmod give you a bloatless rom and pure experience of android. Also, there are lots of customization we can have on it.

"Best" or "Recommend" ROM / Kernel threads are not allowed on XDA.

Read about the ROMS yourself. Research youself. Everything is to be done by you and see whats suits you the most.
Each dev have something unique in their rom, so take the pain and do something youself.
Nothing in this world comes without a little pain in the a$$.
Press Thanks if I helped
