Adrenaline Engine is (if I'm not mistaken) for Galaxy Mini. I think the Adrenline Engine on this section is a port.
+1 for V6 as it is stable and customizable. But if you'd ask me, Chobits NitroSpeed tweaks is better as my phone is smoother with NitroSpeed Script than V6.
You can simply extract the script from the ROM if you don't like to flash Chobits, but hey -I don't think the developer would like that

Best one for me is: 2.1.1.Clean.0.0 by pfonck, fast, clean, no lag, no bugs
Favorite one is: GingerCruzt for Arc Launcher and features, but laggy and battery drain...
GingerXperia V10!
Thanks all for comments, but Gingerxperia v11 is more lightweight, stable and faster than gingerdx v18?
I havent tried GingerXperia yet but maybe 2 weeks from now after i fully evaluate GingerDX. Im using stock kernel + GingerDX v18 + addons with OC to 710Mhz + Supercharger + Build.prop Tweaks and Init.d Tweaks + LP Sense UI,NTSense Theme and Agile Lock. So far so good.
At least im not getting those errors other people are getting. Came from Froyobread v23 with the same setup so it was a smooth transition. For now i'd say GingerDX. 2 weeks from now im trying GingerXperia with those setup except without Supercharger as i read somewhere that GingerXperia uses JUWE ramscript.

The best is to try both. You cannot really rely on what people might say as it is obvious that even though we have the same device we have different experiences.

whoah, you're off-topic. Title is which one - between the two - not Which rom..? from xda. Then:
Have you EVER tried XGin , then, or FroyoPro - waaaaay beter than alessio's Linuxperia. And in any case Linuxperia = GingerXperia is a perfect copy, themed. Look inside it, tweaks are only edited from "Ginger" - to "Linu".
But to come back, the title really is a comparison between the two. What do you have to say about that?
Gdx is better...currently using froyopro!!!! awesome ...rom. 1890 antutu score at 691 mhz.. alfs gdx v08

for once i agree with Mika, you need to try the roms rather than ask "whats the best rom" everyone will say this one or that one. you might not like either of them and prefer Haka's rom for example.
I use a custom build of MiniCM7
try firedroid 1.1 + alfs v07

hey hey,
All roms are CM based, so from this point of view, nothing can be said.
But your tweaks:
Open your V8, go to /etc/LinuXperia, and edit that file, you will find in the first code lines:
#!/system/bin/sh
#GingerXperia Ultimate Tweak
speed=2
sleep="sleep $speed"
unknown=0
ran=0
So, why get angry about?
Not to mention others, like:
/init.d/07sdcardtunes/ - edit and surprise:
#!/system/bin/sh
#
# Sets sdcard read cache size and does several other initializations needed by MiniCM
# Mod for GingerCruzt
if [ -e /system/bin/log ];
then
LOGI="log -p i -t mountsd --"
LOGE="log -p e -t mountsd --"
else
LOGI=echo
LOGE=echo
Yes... Tweak settings gingerxperia... but i am using superchange.. no copy..i am angry.
No copy. Fitting. Do not Slander. Respect. I do not want to hear such a thing again..
only, linuxperia tweaks(gx tweaks) in v8. etc/linuxperia...
For me MiniCM7-2.2.0 is really better. Why? Because it's faster, more "clean" (more CM7 in CM7 ) and also works with awesome nAa-11 Custom Gingerbread Kernel. But ROM choose is your choice, and first test MiniCM and GingerDX, you'll find an anwser
For me MiniCM is better.

V6 SuperCharger by zeppelinrox, is anyone using it

I have SuperCharger on my SGA and decided to give it a go on SGNote.
And for the first time I got +4000 (4157) quadrant score running stock lc1 firmware and cf-root kernel.
Original thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=991276
----
Edit
----
I do not know if this will work on custom kernels. I keep switching between franko and speedmod kernel but these kernels have some built-in tweaks so I decided to test it on cf-root kernel.
Good topic, I'm interested in exactly the same, thanks for posting .
I'd be especially interested if somebody uses this script with the speedmod-kernel.
Not that one blows something with it as the custom-kernels do have their own memory-tweaks.
I am on cf-root. I'll try it with speedmod tomorrow.
Why don't you give it a try ?
Maybe this evening after dinner, and after a backup .
I'm currently on speedmod K2-8 with CheckROM V6.
These where included in the thunderbolt tweaks that several of the notes custom roms used on GB
TB doesn't do much for launcher redraw tho.
Many users thatuse TB also use V6 SuperCharger instead of TB's LMK addon.
Having said that, TB is probably the only tweak (that's not by me lol) that I can comfortably recommend.

Hi! I am currently using the latest version of the script with ics stunner and it works awesome! I know it is a beta fw the lc6 but the script helps on getting the device lag free and very stable

Use the latest version of SpeedMod. I had problems with init.d scripts. If it does not get executed automatically set init.d scripts to run at boot using script manager.

With older superuser application (the one with black and white icon) integration of init.rc might cause problems with superuser permissions. This will not lose root but in my case applications used to get superuser access without first time prompt.
Chainfire's SuperSU does not have any problems.
I use Ram Manager Pro, which I believe does the same thing.
It's not even in the same league.

V6 SuperCharger Pro is for free,

Look at the poll in my thread.
Most replies are that V6 is the best mod EVER.
Takes balls to ask that question but not really - since it's true.
What you should ask is, "Why did I pay for false advertising and snake oil?"

zep <3 You make my phones even better then they are!!! Thanks for your work mate!!! I really mean it
When i have Desire HD i was in a ROM team.When new sense arrived the real free memory was terrible.We decide to used SuperCharger as default script and WOW!more free ram, smoother, no battery draining, no problem at all!
Awsome scripts from an expert.
Pikachu, developer of Thunderbolt too once said that RMP only tweaked LMK and didn't do much optimization.
Lets put this aside. We know what is real and best. Thanks a lot Zepp.

New kernel (not on our device ), hardware acceleration, new UI and ofc lots of improvements...
The biggest difference is the UI..
Once you use ICS you will begin to love its UI..
On our phones ? Not much. Try getting a phone like, lets say an S2 or a Nexus S which had both GB and ICS and you will see the difference
nothing special really.. but of course eye-candy improve a lot in ics but performance is indeed lower..
Bootloader Unlocked + nAa 14 + PrimeHd 10.0 + Cypress Digitizer + 787Mhz Overclocked + 8Gb Class 4 = 894 Antutu 3d Score + 2688 Antutu Benchmark
Hope developers will made nAa or Alfs kernel with 192mb of ram too or more,like in JB!:laugh:

I test naa ics and jb, have 185 & 186 respectively, and alfs v9c have 187 mb of ram. This isnt better in jb, because of huge usage of RAM on a fat ROM.
The cause of many ppl use ics or jb is the ui, the best, but on our phone its slow. Even better a gingerbread rom with jb ui: GingerDX, smooth and beautifull :thumbup:
gingerbread and ics differences
the differences is:
1.the firmware and the UI
2.the kernel which kernel are u use????(stock,alfs,nAa and anastasia)
3.the launcher
4.the apps install(sometimes walkman ics not work on my gingerbread)
5.name(of course )
6. the android version(u can type the android 4 times to check the differences between them)
7.gb is heavier than ics(without custom kernel u cant try ics like a boss)
8.busybox(my friend told me if busybox for ics minimum is over 800kb and gingerbread is over 650kb :v )
hope if it's useful :highfive::good:

I like jellyblast custom rom this rom is stable and beautiful. But i love stock rom then custom rom
Rom: Repencis v.3
Very nice ui. Has adw launcher by default. Speed and performance is a bit better than stock. No problems with wifi but I had to some fixings with the sms bug. Its kernel is one of the best as well.
Rom: Hyperion 7x
Comes with savie's kernel so the battery and performance is top notch. Its not that heavily themed, so I loved the simplicity. The only prob I had with it was it can't download anything using any browser. Other than that, superb.
Rom: NeoX Blackstar X.2
The ui of this one is somewhat similar to hyperion since I think most themes like this has been very popular for most recent custom roms. It's fast as well but have problems with phone reboots while on calls (quite rare though). No wifi or sms probs. Though the kernel that comes with it only has 4 frequencies, but not bad though.
Kernels:
Savie's - this one comes with hyperion 7x and its actually where I first encountered handling governors and sio. Battery saver and good performance.
Kernel: Ryanjms07
I flashed this one today to replace the kernel that came with neox blackstar so I can have the full 5 frequencies. So far so good.
Hope ya like it!
Creed 3.5!
As a noob
1. Jelly Blast 3 was great but heavy on battery - fell in love with Custom ROMS
2. Hyperion 8, excellent but still to heavy on battery
3. Nemesis One HD, awesome but sms was messed up, use Go Pro but don't like to use data mining apps.
4. Nemesis HD OTA 2, so many bugs. Couldn't figure out why Avijit messed up such a good ROM. Gave up on them reading all the problems others encountered on the OTA updates.
5. No longer a noob - Hyperion 8 revisited, still uses too much battery so will try some kernels, but I love it's simplicity, it is fast, very intuitive interface. UC Browser runs like greased lightning on it = best browser. Games run beautifully and use so little battery. Very fast boot and media scan.
Can't live without Nandroid Backup, MadTeam CWM, ROM Tool Box. Link2sd, Super Back Up Pro, and SuperSU Pro.
Next phone will be LG Optimus 2X, as good as an S2 but a 1/4 of the price in Hong Kong where phones are so cheap.
This forum is such a valuable, helpful and friendly place to noobs that I can now fix my friends phones so easily. Maybe my new career!
