Before you start modifying your terminal, it is recommended that you adjust the following two settings:
Settings->Applications->Development->USB debugging = TICK (Yes)

Before doing anything to your device I'd recommend that you read through the various threads within the first section below, entitled GENERAL GUIDES so that you are familiar with the various terminology used and you never know you'll probably find an answer to your problem.....
It's also recommended that you install adb/fastboot onto your pc before you start to touch your device so that you have the required tools to execute the necessary commands and to provide other users debugging/logcat information regarding any issues you encounter. This can be a big help when attempting to fix/solve any subsequent problems you experience. You'll find a guide on how to install this within the GENERAL GUIDES section below.
If development on any of the ROMs below or any other entry has been ceased or is no longer valid then I would appreciate if someone (preferably the thread owner (OP)) could contact me and inform me so that I can label it as #CLOSED#. It may also be a good idea for the thread owner to contact the Moderators @Swiftks or @Siberian Tiger (or any Moderator) and request that the thread is closed.
Once a ROM thread has had no modifications for a couple of months, it will deemed to be #OLD# and I'll mark it as so, in an attempt not to clutter the ROM list. If the thread is still active then please PM me or post within this thread and I'll change it's status. Please don't take offence if this is your ROM but, some form of housekeeping must be performed so that the INDEX remains a useful easy to use resource for the community.

I think he might mean the SGT7 version which had a updated release yesterday.

I would make one suggestion to you, click on the link to the Directpry. After monts of developing this I have found that any linkable thread should be double spaced (as seen in my thread) If you use this
with single spacing, it tends to be harder for people using a device, to click on a hyperlink. You may also want to ask Diamondback to make this a sticky

That said, there is no rule within XDA that will not allow you to poat the link. Simply list it as AOKP in ROM's w/ a note indicating support is only at that site. When It DOES become available on XDA () your link could always change to XDA.
Agreed you don't want to search elsewhere, but AOKP is a common build now and helping others is what this is all about.

« ¿What is an Samsung based ROM?
We call Samsung / Sammy based to all the ROMS who have they base on some of the official (sometimes leaked) firmwares by Samsung, some examples are XXALF6, XXBLFB, XXBLG6, etc.
In this ROMS, mostly, you can find the usual Touchwiz interface, however some ROMS include different themes to change the appareance.

First of all, AOSP stands for Android Open Source Project.
These ROMs offer you the "stock" Android experience without all the extras provided by the manufacturers like Samsung, HTC, etc. they are based directly on the source code from Android. They may be tweaked but are, in their entirety, the closest to a "pure Google experience".

First of all, AOKP stands for Android Open Kang Project.
Well, AOKP is in essence AOSP, the main difference being all the added customization that AOSP ROMs lack. AOKP ROMs still maintain the "stock" Android experience, except with many possible customization options at your fingertips.

« ¿What is a MIUI based ROM?
Very basically, MIUI is the Chinese custom version of Android. The main difference that have from another ROM's is precisely their unique customization options.
The MIUI team hast their own launcher, widgets, apps, etc. If you really want a change from the Green/Gray of GB or the Black/Blue of ICS then take a look at MIUI ROMs.

CyanogenMod it's a ROM pure based on AOSP, but have a main feature...it's a base too for many of the ROM's that you can see here, the Cyanogen Team works on innovative features that later are ported to different Devices / ROM's.

A lot of people might say that..
Only like 3% of the people on here actually have the phone yet so there isn't any development, no themes, kernels other than Chainfires, and no ROMs other than ::indie::'s
Until we have life here don't expect much

Might be worth having an area dedicated to recoveries. Here's what the developer for 4EXT said to me when I asked about getting it on the S3...
As this will probably be a very popular phone I'm considering supporting it.
However I can't say when this will be possible. It would take at least 2 months from now on.

As he's working alone it's fair he cant support every device out there. Just be good to share this with people. You can link to the CWM recovery page too when it's up and running.

we all know that its gonna take time... but seeing this thread made me think for a split second that we actually have something apart from chainfires brilliance...

How to save games and app on EXTSDCARD
Using gps progs, games data etc etc, but all files are save on the internal 32gb memory, where as no programs applications, games etc etc are saved on the EXTSDCARD. With Root explorer mnt/extsdcard, nothing saved, except our own apk files, photos, videos etc etc. All answers most welcome. Thanks, OP, MODS, And Chef Cookers.

New update for Omega rom,version 3 is out based on latest ZSALED firmware

There's also a costom kernel being worked on that isn't posted. Hopefully this thread will be kept up to date.
