That's good but you don't need to create a thread about it. Just post it in the Hellfire thread.

Restore Kindle Fire

I recently found a dead pixel in my kindle fire. Its rooted with a recovery and firefirefire bootloader.
I need to get rid of these before I return it. How can I do this?

right - that risk is allways given if you need to flash the original amazon rom
have read about an other method:
download original rom from amazon and put it in the "kindleupdates" folder
reboot device and go to "update device" in settings
no glue if this works ...
OK I restored it to stock by using the update.zip method. They are shipping me a new one.

One key root kindle fire6.2.2

Root your kindle fire with unlockroot v2.2.2 is very easy way, you don't need TWRP. I just rooted two kindle fire6.2.2, no problem at all.

Download the ROM again and md5sum check it to make sure it is not corrupted then install it. It looks like you had a corrupted ROM.
