Thanks.....I'm not really sure how I feel about it so far.
I am a huge fan of the color red (it's generally my favorite color) so I'm interested in seeing more of it before making my preorder in a day.
Still hoping for real pics, but this is the only one I've seen so far.

I think he was saying that the image of the white/red phones is just a mock up. Also, I posted the official press release confirming the red SGS3 in my original post.

they will come out with a pink color variant...looking by their history with s devices....may be it will launch for valentine's day 2013 and can be called as 'shiny pink' or 'rose pink'

I was wondering anyone here from UK has the Black edition of the DHD from Orange.
I was trying to search for some real life photographs of it without result.
From stocks image, it looks pretty awesome, and I was thinking of getting it, but it would suck if there is a big orange logo stamped on it. Anyone can confirm?

the only orange branding on it, is on the battery cover (easly replaceable)

I had it in my presence for a day or so...
Unfortunately when I compared it to my brown DHD, I must say I much preferred the brown look. The orange logo in my opinion is a bit of an eyesore but its not that big.

i own the black edition, and yes the orange logo is not very nice, but i plan to get another cover for it...
Anyway, the phone is quite nice, i must admit i've not seen (live) the brown one, but this is quite nice in black...
since the logo is printed on the bottom cover, we can replace luckily. But the thing is I only found the coffee colour version of it. and its not cheap, 15-20quid for that tiny cover.

Honestly its my colour preference.
To me the brown just looks more full. It looks weighty and expensive.

Most phones are black, this kind of brown colour gives you a sense of independence, it'll be very hard to come across something cheap that's brown not black.
I think the brown sort of shows different colour under different lighting, sometimes you even see it in silver. The black edition is totally matte black I think.

Just got a black DHD from Orange, compared to previous phones from them the branding is relatively unobtrusive. I've attatched a pic of the back panel that should give you some idea. Sorry about the quality but this was taken with a rubbish camera in poor lighting.

well, the truth is, the "brown" one would cost me £199 plus the renewal of my contract, the black came freebie....:

It says "Brown/Black". That means the device is brown AND black. It doesn't mean you can choose brown OR black. There is no option for picking a color when you add a Transformer to your cart. The "black" they are referring to is the bezel.
There is no black version of the TF101. If it's out there, someone find me some evidence of it somewhere on the internet. Other than this thread. There is no way Best Buy would have gotten a new color of the TF without there being a mention of it on a single tech blog.

Today I happened to look at the back of my Note in bright sunlight. You can see loads of blue sparkles that appear to be 'deep' under the back cover. It is actually pretty neat!

No phones are actually black. If you look closely, they are all actually very very very very very very dark blue. Only priests' phones are actually black. Never buy black phones in a normal shop, they'll shaft you every time.

Exactly. I never thought it was blue. I ordered it off Amazon and I thought they simply made a mistake until I opened the box and read that it was blue. Hehe. I was actually praying that a blue horrible corny phone wouldn't arrive. Haha. I was so glad it was this one!!! Hehe. Regardless. Many people still believe it to be black.

Motomaker.com is now live, but you can only play around with it and save your order. You need to go to an Att store and buy in store, where they give a moto card with a code that will allow you to complete the order online. Why do we have to go to the store? Well they want us to use the in-store displays and see the colors in real life (not all the colors look exactly the same as the renders due to lighting), so this minimizes the chances of someone sending it back to change colors if it didn't turn out the way they expected it.

Will it get more attention? Yea sure any phone that has three distinct colours like those would attract some attention, but I personally don't think it would be very pleasing to the eye as something that is all white/black with one other colour accent.
But hey I like minimalistic things and plain uniform patterns.

A lot of conservative people probably feel the same too. I've been going back and forth on whether I like the woven black. The smooth black you get on the motomaker is a clear winner, and picking color accents gives just a little bit of flare without having an overly flashy from having a colored back.

I was going to go with orange. I had it loaded up and ready to go.. But then I remembered that it looked kinda dull on my first x. Hoping the red pops a bit like my blue does on my current one.

It's suppose to be a bumper.. I chose the crimson color one.. but the render is different than what it shows on the website..

this was one of the choices i was deciding between. i think this looks the most premium out of all the design choices possible. was also considering black front and white back aka storm trooper. ultimately decided i wanted a color that popped.

Yeah, I loved the 'Premium' look of this combo.
I considered the Storm Trooper look however my first Nexus 5 was the white edition and I hated it, ended up trading it for a black one.
