this is very exciting i cannot wait for RIL to work ...which is for me a requirement if im going to flash this rom...

This is very good news! Can't wait to see this come along as far or even further than the previous CM ROM you released/worked on.

If I would post a flashable build I would be happy to test it

come on. how time we can test it

Help!
I have the Motorola Sage/Flipside and I have done everything on the instructions.
But it doesn't go through...
It keeps saying aborted after I've wiped all of my date and cache and when I hit "install".
I don't know what else to do... I have already tried many .zip files for this phone, supposedly.
It says something about the certifications or something like that are invalid?
????

I hate to be a pain, but is there any way you can post this some place that doesn't require a login to download?

Hi Guys,
As a new poster let me do a quick intro. Please call me Mac, I use my PDA for work and pleasure and never go anywhere without it. On my 4th PDA now XDAIIi, also have XDAII and Tosh e740. I migrated from the darkside and have a Sony palm in a cupboard somewhere.
I know that HTC have a repair centre in Milton Keynes but I think they only support their partners, O2, Orange etc. It may be worth a call though if you can find the number.
Mac

O2 really really bad service(look the content)

I don't think you want to help. Bad O2 service.
The service are the famous bad all over the world.
I heard about a lot of bad service of O2 also in Asia Forum.
Slow and not responsible.
do not think to enter asia market if you don't change your repair policy. because your product is so easy broken. Not like Sony. Sony is the best quality I ever know although more expensive, but really satisfied me. Hope sony produce PDA Phone soon.O2 is not as good as I think.Expensive and bad service policy. Why you spend a lot of money for advertisement if your product is so bad.
People won't buy.

The sticker still exist . it is just a stiker problem ,I can stick it back again, you have the record that the machine is new as the IMEI Number listed. The Imei sticker is only printed by Barcode printer, this is not the main problem.
Any way , I didn't receive any HTC contact number from you. Please , I want the contact person to talk to him directly.
Anyway again, I hope, you can repair , because sticker will not be so mch problem so that you cannpt repair the phone I buy from [email protected]

Hendrick,
Unfortunately as an accredited 02 repair centre we are not authorized to carry out a repair on any phone which has no relevant imei stickers which determines the warranty.
I advise you to contact HTC directly to see if they can be of any further assistance to you, as I explained we will not be able to carry out a repair for you.

Dear Sir
It is because of your company policy, so I need repair by myself and because of inefficient communication. if from the first HTC have a good repair policy, I don't have to open the machine.Because no one care. HTC don't care, O2(the company which I buy from) also didn't care. Now I can't cannot turn on totally.I think when I upgrading the ROM , the ROM was burn. I'm really dissapointed.
You just have a sit and see my phone dead? Please do some thing, we are communicating now.

They are going by procedure. Please think this clearly through and set aside your frustration. If you've tampered with your device (Which looks like you did by removing the warranty sticker or IMEI sticker, taking apart your phone, etc) your warranty is voided. Simple as that.
BTW, Sony does make a PDA phone however it runs on Symbian OS. Their newest one is the P990 8)
Anyway, good luck with your phone. What ROM did you try to upgrade to that bricked your unit?
really bad
from the first time I would like to go with procedure. but both O2 and HTC do not want to proceed it because I 'm living in Taiwan. and because of their bad policy communication, I'm stuck, and it makes me have the intention to open the machine see what was wrong. you see my letter. if they have good service I don't have to open the machine and just send it to them, because it is under warranty.
Bad O2 product and service.
By the way, Thanks for the Sony Information.
I would never by O2 product in the rest of my life, I I suggest all of you who see this letter can becareful
I don't want to flame anybody, but seriously. The customer service rep gave you a number to call, at which point you decided to open the phone, which you clearly knew would void your warranty as you have mentioned it before the rep in the above emails.
I work with this kind of thing everyday and it never ceases to amaze me the number of people that are happy to take 'responsibility' for a phone which o2 should fix and then clearly know it will void the warranty.
Why are you contacting O2 UK anyway, surely they are not the provider of your phone in O2 asia as the two companies are completely different and the only thing they share is a brand name. Do you not have a local service centre?
I got to add my .03 cents to this.
First, by flashing a Rom that you got from an unofficial source you knew that you risked bricking your phone.
Second, once you bricked your phone you were impatient and wanted an immediate fix so you opened your phone, removing a sticker and voiding your warranty for a second time.
You did this to yourself.
You, good sir, (poster) are a retard. I'm not even going to waste my time explaining why. People like you give O2 a bad name.

Bad O2
The O2 pda phone was purchased in UK, only O2 uk can accept the repair procedure. I have contact the local O2 in Taiwan, the can't do anything to help. SOmetimes I think, Why O2 Asia taiwan customer service center exist but it can't help to repair.
You see, no one can fix this phone. O2 uk, o2 asia, HTC, no one accept. If this thing happen to somebody. I think the only way is to fix by himself.
What an unresponsible Branded company I ever met in this world

Let's see, you voided the warranty first by flashing unsupported Roms and later by removing the IMEI sticker and O2 is the Bad Guy here?
I read the e-mail you posted, why did you refuse to contact O2 UK for return information? Sounds like you are too cheap to call UK from Taiwan and ship your phone back to UK for repair.
To me it makes perfect sense that O2 Asia and O2 UK are two different companies. If you want the convenience of having your phone serviced after you tard it up then by a phone from O2 Asia when you move there.
What an irresponsible user, are you related to Tweker (or did Tweker just move to Taiwan)...
Seriously, if it is a flash problem, why do you want to open up your wizard? it doesn't look like a hardware problem.
Anyway, if my memory is working, I remmeber someone mentioned that format fail means that you messed up your IMEI section of your phone. And the only way of repairing it is to pay http://www.imei-check.co.uk/ to fix it. Hope this help.
The O2 That
if so, I would like to try, but the problem is, after upgrade the ROM, now it can't turn on.
i'm sorry but everyone else is right when you do flash your phone you have to accept the reality of what might go wrong as it did in your case stop flaming O2 its not gonna help you. If anything its just going to annoy and alienate the people on this forum who maybe be able to assist you. Further more if you buy a device in another territory then you must understand that when you get home obtaining service maybe difficult or impossible. If your not prepared to accept the consequences of your actions then you shouldnt have bought the phone in the first place let alone messing about with it. Chalk this one down to experience and go buy your blasted sony phone in Taiwan!

vodafone xperia service

hey guys.i would like to know something.i bought an xperia from UK.i live in slovenia.if something goes wrong, where can i send xperia, and who i need to contact? it is from vodafone.i have everything, except original bill and warranty card,if it was with the phone.seller told me that i just send xperia to warranty repairs, but i am in little doubt that this is so easy.
warranty
My case was cracked so i called SE they told me that i could either go to vodafone (where i bought it) or go to the nearest SE service point. I guess that is what i whould do, go to a SE service point in your city. (call SE to find out where one is near you)

Try this:
To always have SMS Delivery Notifications enabled:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings\SMSDeliveryNotify = 1 (DWORD decimal)
To disable them (can still enable per-SMS in SMS settings):
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings\SMSDeliveryNotify = 0 (DWORD decimal)
Note that SMS Delivery Notifications are a network provider option, and the recipient may refuse them to be sent out

Dude it's already enabled.... I think u didn't read my first post.. I said i am getting delivery report with other connection bt not with reliance network.. but i am getting those report on reliance network as well when i put the reliance sim on another fone...
Had a talk with HTC customer care.. they told me that as RELIANCE (GSM) being a new telecom operator and HTC being a windows mobile doesn't support the new telecom operator.. Therefore, it's not possible for me to get delivery report on my HTC. I have to wait for release of windows 6.5. as i am having windows 6.0.. Even when i asked that if there is a fix for it they told a "NO".. Can anybody now tell me if it is possible to get deliver report by altering the registry or so..
Today automatically i started getting delivery report for messages.. hurray...
