ROM Toolbox for AmonRa? - EVO 4G General

Anyone think they could tweak it and put out a new version that is just designed for amonra use? Because its a nice app, but clockwork is garbage.. 95% of the roms now malfunction when flashing using clockwork.. so ya lol

I doubt that would happen as CM is the preferred recovery on so many other devices

[Req] Working rommanager

This IS in development, I am aware if it and believe the mods will be fine with it (read a couple posts below for my reasoning). This IS directly related to development. We need a working rommanager to make flashing roms, kernals and mods way more noob proof and quick. If we get a working rommanager and everyone puts their mods kernals and roms on there, it would be great. This is also a legitimate reason that we don't deserve a official cm7. We need a fully fictional clockworkmod and rommanager.

Oh, I'm not stupid, I have developed roms for other devices before and understand the xda rules. How is this NOT development? Development doesnt mean something you can download and flash, it means anything related to developing for the device. General is for general things like phone problems and unrelated things and qna is for questions...

I imagine that a functional rommanager would work much better than a fictional one

Koush did try to get the Epic compatible with CWM. The Dev's didn't want to work with him from what I can tell. So he said **** it.

I don't think so...depends on the update file that htc released. Just do a file comparison from the last ota. I don't think much has changed. Hopefully they do a smaller update than a full ota.

True, but they havent rooted the first OTA yet lol, maybe HTC is surprising everyone with an unlocked bootloader with that update thats on the way......not
Unlocked bootloader.....mmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Maybe they'll realize too that they forgot to push out approximately the other 75% of gb on the 6/3 ota....wishfull thinking maybe.

Though I personally recommend tiamat 3.3.7 or 4.1.

Just my 0.02, but it is possible, and the fact that the One and S4 have the same processor would make it even easier than my port was
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2321867
To start with, you guys would need at least a semi-stable AOSP rom to pull parts from.

It's difficult to dev for a device that you don't have. Especially for something as time-intensive as porting a proprietary UI...

Yes, I ported that.
And porting it for this device one would need to start fresh, because you can't port proprietary UIs using a guide.
