shameless dude!
Like a vulture circling its pray lol
you need to give us some more information.
What happened? what was you doing before that happened?
Have done anything that you shouldn't or didn't fully understand?
what OS are you using? state of your hardware, battery? do you have an external charger, spare usb cable.
the more you give us the more we have to work with, oh and yes as my shameless friend above said, you'll likely get people that will take it off your hands so don't throw it out the window!

Thank you: you're prosecutor, judge and jury!
It was a fair proposition as far as he wanted to throw it away through his window: wasting electronics around is illegal in most modern countries.
But I suppose it doesn't really matter for a xda-boyscout like you: your opinion is far more important than a decent&fair proposition!!!

Good joke:
"shameless dude!
Like a vulture circling its pray lol",
but in a personal manner!
For this kind of "subtle humour" you could have lost your head not so much long ago in your own country, isn't it?
This is a joke, too! Isn't it?

Cultural and Lingual differences are very amusing, made more so when "ones" had a couple of glasses of wine!
as for losing my head with cheeky jokes, nope I doubt it, just ask the French about the "Two Fingers (v)" we've always had a sense of humour of course back then a great many more French did lose their heads for a lot less!
But yes its a Joke!

Tweaks for a noob to get better functionality out of the phone

Hi Guys,
Have had my TD2 for a few months and whilst it is a nice looking phone, I find that navigating it can get very laggy sometimes so looking for some tweaks or updates I can perform to get the most out of the phone.
Can someone direct me?

I heard he used the money to get a N1 or Mytouch Slide, I'm not sure if that's true or not, dont like rumors. i still think his work is good b/c he does fix things and make'em better and has many good roms.
if the geek drama makes devs spend their time on doing things other than Dev'n then its bad
if the geek drama motivates them to dev more then its good
but i really dont care about geek drama....thats my opinion

oh BTW.. this post..
You are forgetting all SE system apps that legally bound to be protected for the developers, including the CAMERA. SE also has a legal responsibility to protect Apple's patent on Multitouch, which I know there is still argument if it is a hardware issue or a bootloader issue. Nonetheless SE still has a legal responsibility to enforce its agreements with partners made before the device ever hit the market. Period.

Hey man, I'm not in any way insulting you with this post, just trying to offer some constructive thoughts. You are not stupid, but you have made some dumb decisions but hey, so have I. No harm in that as long as you take ownership of the mistakes(which you have). Just remember that there are some people here who have years of experience in the electronics field and we should all try to learn from their experience and not argue with them over what the internet says. Happy trails man!

Exactly
i think he had other things to deal with and that he was "looking for something else" the V2 with Xboxmod was his leaving gift for us all
I also got the feeling that he got a lot of stick for what he did, from people who shall remain nameless
In my humble opinion I think that him doing what he did for us, kind of made "others" look bad, but lets not turn this in to a name and shame thread.
The chap was a legened, with help from many others on here he helped get give us not only a working Mango but also an updatable HD2.
Unless anyone else knows anything more perhaps we should just leave it with that...

THANKS AGAIN YUKI!!!

Even dumber question re:-> Thanks

I see folks asking or stating to be sure to 'Thank <whomever>'. I am pretty good about doing that, and have even received some myself. And I believe strongly in polite communications, supporting the community, and so forth.
I'm just curious, while it is certainly very good interaction to have, sometimes it feels like maybe there is more to receiving the thanks than just politeness.
I see more people saying something about thanking someone than telling rude people to tone it down.
Is there some other reason to press the Thanks button. Most 'Thanks award'. A penny for each Thanks, or something.

Except for the super secret awards they give each other at the annual dinners, it doesn't "do" anything...
OTOH, it's a fair indicator for someone reading the post (along with the title and number of posts) if the person is reliable, their information is likely to be good, etc. If someone with less than 10 thanks posts "OMG our phones are going to explode at 10 PM tonight", they're gonna get flamed. OTOH if a recognized developer with 5000+ thanks posts "there's a slight possibility that our phones have a battery issue that could cause the phone to explode at a certain time" then I'm going to take my phone out of my pocket, very slowly, and leave it in a bowl in the bathtub overnight

Thanks can be given for any reason the thanker feels, but generally it's used when somebody says something you agree with, when you share something with the forum, when you help someone with something, those are the most common one's.

Agreed.
I typically use it when someone has supplied an answer that is helpful.
I never do it if they start out by complaining about the questioner not having searched.
Some folks around here seem to go out of their way to beg for "thanks".

Right?! As if they can do anything with the thanks they acquire.
Do you like someone thanking you in person for helping them? It's the polite thing to do when a stranger goes out of their way and uses their own spare time to help you just because. What's the big deal with hitting the thanks button to show some appreciation? It's really not that hard.

I think it's the courteous thing to do, but after I help someone I don't tell them "make sure to tell me thanks". If they say it, cool, if not, no worries.
