While most games work I have a few that don't.
Asphalt 5 or 6 don't work... most likely a build. prop issue.
Heavy Gunner has an xy axis issue that is reported to be an ICS issue.
GTA III does work.
Has anyone moved the build.prop to get more games to install?

Not sure about build prop but I can say that Nova2 HD doesn't work (Gameloft sucks), Shadowgun force closes sometimes. Dead Space, Temple Run, Angry Birds Space and N64 emulator all work well.

GTAIII only barely works for me. It ends up freezing the controls, so if I was running, he just keeps running as I am still touching the controls. The controls also seem to lag greatly causing me to get my butt kicked when I am trying to mug people.
i'm considering buying this tab and games if definatly an interest. Was wondering has anyone tried a PSemulator on the tab? Wonder how that would play with something like say, FF7 also curious how Mini Motor Racing plays on the tab.

I removed it and re-installed it. Still doesn't work. It downloads the levels, goes to the PopCap screen then hangs forever, sometimes it makes it to the next screen (Loading...), then hangs.
I can't find a HD version, just the regular pay for version. It works just fine on my Atrix 2.
Real Racing 2 doesn't work. It installs but gets a server error 5002 when launched. I bought the Tab just for this awesome game!
I got a bunch of Gameloft games to work, by changing the build.prop to Galaxy Nexus. Same GPU as our tab, and high resolution, so the games should be optimized. Unzip this and overwrite the one inside /system/
Make a backup first, this might cause problems down the line.
EDIT: Yeah this kills sound. So, after you change your build.prop, download the games, install the data and restore your backed up build.prop. Sound will work again. The games will also still work.
There is an app on the market called "Device Spoofer" that makes this process easier.

Put sims free play on it for the wife to play. It runs really well considering its almost a gb of data downloaded.

Asphalt does work on my tablet(p3110) but Plants vs Zombies don't~~
Grand Theft Auto and Plants vs Zombies both work great for me on CM9.

I downloaded the plant vs zombiesHD version which was around 2 mb , later when I installed and launched the game it stopped working the message says "unfortunately plant vs zombies has stopped working" so any suggestions for this problem

That message you got is called a "force close" Some apps do this s8metimes especially if there are many apps fighting for Ram, thats when you need the multirasking butt8n, which looks like 2 frames with an overlap, selecting "Remove all" will clear up Ram.

PvZ works great for me, I am using version 1.3.16 with included data files to sd card.
however, it is always asking for network, just for starting the app.

Nop, i can run Modern combat 4, GTA, dead trigger, spider man etc perfectly without any lag, using cm10.1 but with a official Rom it should the same.

Odd, the atrix comes with a NFS Demo that plays perfectly fine.
more than likely the games aren't updated to work on the phone resolution, wait for an update. or get the latest version from the market.

ALL my apps are from the market, that's what's weird.
Keep in mind that some apps and games may not work on the Atrix just yet because of the new type of display/resolution and don't forget the new tegra 2 chipset.

Need for speed plays great on mine. Asphalt 5 gives a white border on the right and top of display because of the resolution. I played it though and it's the fastest I've seen the game play. Larger companies like Gameloft and EA will probably update pretty quickly.
Are you talking about the full version of NFS: Shift? Of course the demo works, but the full version doesn't. It starts up and tries to download the 150mb of extra data from EA and then errors out saying "Unsupported Device". Sims 3 does the same thing.
Might want to wait a little, its not like the phone just came out today or anything.
I just wanted everyone to know that if you get on your computer by following Natious' guide for getting Gameloft games cheaper, you can also download this brand new to Android game which works great on the Tab. Although there seems to be no startup movie....

I had no problem downloading and playing the game on my stock Galaxy tab. Just hooked it up to wifi and it was done in 5 minutes. No lag whatsoever.

Everything works great. Except no movie in begining. I dont even know if there is one.

I am a heavy gamer and in the middle of compiling a list of great tab games and which version works best. You know htc droid samsung ect.
I havent been able to get gangstar miami fully working full screen yet. Getting there.
I am also trying to find a company that puts out hd games like gameloft does. Except i want the games to work like they say the should. Spiderman is a perfect example of a great game that doesnt work properly.

Nova 2 doesnt even work on my htc desire, and i can get almost any game to work on there. Someone said asphalt 6. Arent all the car pink?
We might get nova to work if we could get gongerbread, but the current cyanogen port for us is extreemly buggy.

With those of you having trouble getting/running GTA 3 on your Note, I also had trouble running it.....Until now...
Like many others the game is no longer available in the market place & even when attempting to purchase it online I get the message ''no devices/your device is not supported''
I had to do things the hard way by manually looking for and installing the GTA 3 apk file.
When this was complete things got worse. When attempting to install the game data via wifi I got the following message ''Data download authorization error. Is the time on your device set correctly?"
Regardless of what I tried to do the message would continue.
Once again I had to mess about looking for the data files for GTA 3 to manually run the game without the need to download it via wifi.
I then downloaded the game data & copied it to my android/data folder.
When launching the game you will still be prompted to update. If you decline it the game closes, if you accept you get the above error about the time zone.
What I had to do was to press the back button on the note. The screen would then go black and stay black.
Lastly I pushed the home button, I did not close the game but went to my home screen (game was still running in the taskbar) I then open my task bar and press GTA 3. Bam, it now works!
Anyone have any questions?
I have a fixed APK though... deleted all my files and am trying to download and reinstall, will let you know if it works at this time
What a releif I had no problem installing GTA3..
It may be of interest to some that it plays completely smoothly when clocked at 800MHz, and very slightly choppy but totally playable at 500MHz.
Also, the only games I think anybody needs are GTA3, and Zelda OoT and Majora's mask - both run smoothly with N64oid, though the latter is more demanding. I found that MM was not playable until I bought setCPU (rooted etc.), but interestingly I can play it completely smoothly when clocked at 1000MHz.
But PLEASE has anyone had success with PS1 or NDS emulators? I find that when starting an emulation, both just show the controls but fail to load a game :/

GT Free+ HD works fine.
UNO (Kindle Fire version from Amazon App Store) works fine when restored from Titanium Backup. UNO from the Play store runs, but doesn't work well (touchscreen issues)
I haven't been able to get Asphalt 6 to work (KF version from Amazon store restored from Titanium Backup, nor the Google Play store version)
Shrek Kart (Kindle Fire version from Amazon) doesn't work either from Titanium Backup.
That's all I've tried so far.
KF running gedeROM v1.45
I got Nova 2 HD to work but theres issues with the touchscreen locking inputs in
(aim left and it continues to wave or shoot and doesn't stop)just pausing the game
and unpausing resets it so its not that bad.
Counter strike and Minecraft work too.
The games I have tried haven't been from either store.. torrented them.
Guess I'll start tryin different sources and different Versions and post'em if i get lucky
EDIT::::: I think It might have something with the tablet thinking its a galaxy nexus and the
versions of the apk aren't really compatible with it. Do all versions of ICS show KF as a Galaxy nexus
or do they differ from which ICS was ripped from????
Has anyone had any luck with game console emulators, such as NESoid, SNESoid, N64oid, etc? I tried them last on Hashcode's vanilla release, but they failed to load ALL game roms. I haven't had the chance to try them yet on gedeRom, but I expect the same results since all ICS roms for the Kindle Fire are still in early development.

Dungeon Hunter 2 crashes after the opening cinematic, even the GTP1000 version which works for CM7. Such a shame. DH3 is boring as hell.
I've just tried NESoid and SNESoid. Both apps work, but when the scaling is set to "Stretched" and used in the landscape orientation everything is extremely blurry. Even the on-screen gamepad controls are blurred. It looks fine in the portrait orientation though. I'm not sure what's causing this...
EDIT: I was going to take a screenshot of the blurry screen to post here, but the screenshot is not blurry at all. So strange...

You have PvZ working in ICS? I've only gotten it to work in GB, what version are you using? For me, it works for about 30 seconds then freezes, which is common for ICS from what I could gather in the PvZ forums.
I am using gederom 1.55, with stock build.prop (ie galaxy nexus).
Works great for me, love that game!
No chainfire.
To the other guy, PvZ is fine on ICS, i dont play it often, but it worked for 1 game on same rom as above. Dunno, ive never had problems, just make sure you use powervr APK. If the market has problems, there is something wrong with the ROM i presume.

You need Chainfire3D to run Tegra optimized games on Non-Tegra devices.
Anyone know if worms works?
Could anyone that has a Nexus 7 at present please try, Modern Combat 3, Nova 3 and order and chaos on the device. Since these are the only none tegra games that I'd be playing on it, would be nice to know if they work

dead space and asphalt6 both show up as incompatible, i feel like dead space might work, i'll pull the apk from my gs3 and try it
asphalt being a gameloft game most likely won't work though

modern combat will most likely not work without an update from gameloft as well, there was a similar issue with their games after ICS came out. i'll check out order and chaos in the morning for you though

Bummer :/ I'll have GTA 3 and Max Payne to keep me busy till Gameloft patches things up. I was going to buy NOVA 3 with some of that $25 Play Store Credit too.
Hopefully they update it soon.

MC3 works on my N7 without any issue. Just played through the first level and no crashes or problems.

I downloaded Nova 3 today, and after downloading 1.7GB worth of info. I was told this game is incompatible with my device and to ask for a refund???
How are you guys playing it?
Nova 3 is not working with my SGS3 on CM10, I thought this might be a CM10 issue (being an early preview and all) so I downloaded for the N7 and the same things happens.
The game opens, looks like its about to initialise then it takes me back to the homescreen without any error or force close.
I am starting to think that the game just doesn't like Jellybean
