Sorry i did not mention about that, it require unlock bootloader.
DoomKernel or ArcKnight kernel will do.
Patch for arc are attached below, for codename 7.
If you on lockbootloader, u can try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1544273
The only thing that may not works are camera & sensor. It can be sorted out later.

i tested codename 7 rom on Arc S make arc_patch to arc s patch just changing Lt15i to Lt18i and arc to arc s in build.prop..
it is good ROM, camera & sensors are working perfectly..still needs more test to say everything working but looking like that everything is working..
Arc S
kernel=ARC-DooMKernel-v22_boot
baseband=64{62}
thank you emannxperia and codename team..

Rom booted with arc.
LT15I
Doomkernel v22
baseband: 64

I do love playing with a new rom, when I've got some time I'll give it a go. Is it ready for daily use? By this I mean are call, text and 3g working? If so then I may load it up and run it for week to give it a thorough going over.
Edit: re-read everything, you already stated what works and doesn't. What basebands is it compatible with? I'm on 70.

ArcKnight Kernel - Backport to GB

Hi guys!
I just got a request from Chiefy asking me to Backport ArcKnight Kernel to GB, and so it could also provide support to those of you who don't want to Upgrade to ICS yet.
So here I am asking the community if you think it is worth it to backport the Kernel and if also you're are willing to support my work at the moment my main computer got broke and I'm stocked with a pentium 4 3Ghz CPU with 1GB of RAM. But when I run Ubuntu through VMware player I can only use 512MBs of Ram and it's a pain ** ** *** to compile like that and it will be really difficult for me to maintain two kernels with so low specs computer.
Would you like me to backport it?

Hello friend!
First, congratulations for the beautiful work.
Use your kernel with rom ICS and am very pleased.
In my opinion I think it would be very interesting to port the ArcKnigth Gingerbread. Mainly because I still prefer, and I believe there are still many like me, Gingerbread roms to be faster and more functional.
Au support!
Thank you!

Yes Please and can you do one for the 800X?
i am testing the rom right now.
after doing that, i will see what i can do for you cdma users
I would be willing to test.
Is it official from sony?
So can we flash without unlock bootloader?

yeah,
please release a fully stock, no modification.
I hope this is a .ftf ROM
How is that possible? Did Sony kept working on ICS for the Xperia Play after they canceled the release?
Obviously, this new rom will be more than welcome, rooted if possible. :fingers-crossed:
Yes please! Oh that would be soooooooo awesome!
Yes please!
first: this can be for locked bootloader, but the touchpad support is broken then.
this is not an ftf
hmm, i think you should give it a try...
how much ram do you have, and hows the performance???

Their was a firmware ready and even certified for release but Sony stopped from pushing it out right at the end. Also has been many test versions of ics for Xperia play before the so called (never launched) release version (some of them we got to try). So this will be 1 of them test versions, fully complete.

Hi,
there are 2 problems: you need baseband .84 and i have .74 atm.
so i can't use phone things (sim error)
now i also can't use flashtool and i can only use wotan server which costs 2 euro (then i can flash the neo l .84 baseband which is compatible)
the problem is: i can't store money on my paypal (i am too young for that) so the only way is (sadly) donations, which i don't have atm.
So if someone is willing to help me with buying credits or giving me credits for wotanserver it will be great
So you need a PayPal donation before you'll share it? That's cold LOL!
It would sure help the jellyzeus project to release it, and I could mod it for baseband .62. Where the hell did you get baseband 74 from? Im on 77 from Neo L, is there a 74 for Play official?
Sent from Xperia Play (R800a) with Tapatalk
Weird.. If u want to share it then just share it. If there's catch to hav u share it then dont bother. Just sayin' man.
Regards,
Sdojoin
I'm on baseband 84, I could give it a go. Has anybody paid the ransom yet?

Support for my new rom

Hi guyz .I saw a few threads talking about creating your own rom. I decided to try this, so far so good. But I need support and help from senior members and developers. I want the Rom to be very stable and good for everyday use.
I know I am just a junior member but please support me and if you are interested please contact me (Xperia Gamer) . Thank you
Disclaimer: (lol) this thread is for interested developers and senior members.

No it isn't, it cannot be rooted via zergrush, psneuter e.t.c.
It can only be rooted via custom kernel but if you add su binaries and switch back to stock kernel you will have root.

Looking really nice. I am even tempted to give it a try (had some bad experience with miui on i9100).
You say you are busy for about a week now so I assume you're using the first leak of cm10.1 from uberlaggydarwin? That build rocks so I really hope you are using that one, please let me know.
What can you say about miui at the moment? Is it stable and suitable as a daily driver?
Nice work.

Maybe I miss something on patchrom, so need more work.
@wujek yeah I wanna updated it weekly according to miui official released. But some while its not in the some day, maybe 1-2 days after official released, because my internet connection is so so so BAD. Lol
@Zarzek yeah, you are absolutely right. I'm using his build, and now still waiting for uberlaggy permission, so I can released this ROM for public
If you think cm10.1 from uberlaggy stable, and this one should be too.
I've already fixed annoying bug now, the remain major bug is USB teathering, but it'll be fixed soon.

There is already a newer version build by eagleeyetom out there, I guess that one is more stable.
MIUI for CM10.2?
Bro, will you be building MIUI ROM based on CM10.2 / Android 4.3.1 soon? Can't wait for this to happen.
Thanks for the reply to this question.
@ robin is eagle build is too much better than uber? if yes i'll rebased it, but if not its better too waiting the remain bugs is fixed.
because my internet connection is awful, so for downloading another one it's wasting time. lol
@ chew miui rom with android 4.3.1 is not available yet i guess. Even mi-2s just getting aosp cusrom.
so if its availble, give me the link and i'll do it for sure.
by the way.
this rom will be uploaded today, uber already granted his permission

Hey,
Maybe it would be better to wait then. For me it feels more stable and the battery is really awesome but of course it takes a lot of time so maybe to wait would be better.
Looking forward to more of your work.
