Sprint CDMA Epic 4g Touch (SGS2) $219 - Member-Found Deals

Anyone looking for a Sprint E4GT on the cheap you can get for $219 or $209 with "CowBoom10" coupon for first time buyers:
http://www.cowboom.com/product/929485
Note: These are pre-owned and sometimes could have Bad ESN. However they do have a 30 return policy if you get a dud.
FYI - this will not work on GSM networks, it is a CDMA phone.

Has anyone bought one of these or from this website before? Seems a little too good to be true

Cowboom is owned by bestbuy I believe it sells the returns and refurbs

I haven't bought from them before but they are a best buy brand (just look at the site logo, or go to the about us page).
However I did want to put up the warning about the ESN's because I have heard that this site doesn't call Sprint/whoever to verify each phone is clean. They do have a "hassle free 30 day return policy" so if you get a bad one you are only out the time.
I ordered one myself and am excited to get it. I figure if its bad I will return. And for what these sell for 2nd hand feel like its a pretty darn good deal ($222 shipped).

Edit: As per HOTUKDeals thread it was a mistake
This has now been withdrawn, most likely a misprice to begin with or they have already sold all their stock! It will be interesting to see if those that ordered early actually receive their phones.
Ordered one. Let's hope it goes through. The money has left my account, so that's something.

The Verge phoned up and it wasn't a misprice.
good way to make a profit
buy a couple, and sell them on.
on HotUKdeals, people have confirmed that the deal is not valid for some reason...
The Verge may have jumped the gun on this one - retailers customer service departments are notoriously crap and often get it wrong, good luck getting it though. I still think this deal was too good to be true and looking at the hukd thread that does seem to now be the case
and here I thought Nokia and MS finally figured out the formula to become relevant in the market. Hell even I was going to pick one up to try it... but now forget it.
Can't charge premium prices for sub premium device/experience... not until you become a real player and can start dictating pricing (like Apple).
Too good a phone to sell for £120
Was always going to be a incorrect price.
But it was worth a shot I guess.

[YMMV] White iPhone 4's being exchanged for 4s's

I just read on www.imore.com that some Apple stores are exchanging White 16GB iPhone 4's with White 16GB iPhone 4s's due to shortages of the regular 4's in the color white. People are confirming this works, but miles are definitely varying.
Refurbished units, FWIW. Good luck all!

I guess if your store is one of the stores out of White 16GB 4's they'll give a refurb 4s as a warranty replacement should something covered under warranty happen to your phone. Follow the link in the OP.

anyone know if this is actually working?
Was going to buy an iPhone 4 and go to my local Apple store and say it's acting buggy and have it swapped out.
I called my local store and the guy said he can't tell me if they had replacement iPhone 4's in stock which is funny since he works in the store and told me I had to make an appointment to find out.
So I would have to take a 20 minute trip and pay for parking at the mall just to find out if they have stock on an item in their store....

Working for Apple in the past. They're NOT supposed to reveal this type of information since there's a high volume of individuals that try to abuse their warranty policy.
Why would he get in trouble for telling a customer who wants to replace an iPhone 4 with and iPhone 4 and before driving out there wants to make sure they have stock for an iPhone 4

So people have to make an appointment appointment and drive 20+ mins to see if they have an item in stock
How can you abuse the warranty if you have to bring the phone in regardless

What I'm referring to is what the OP stated. Going to Apple with your perfectly working iPhone 4 expecting a 4S in exchange for a BS excuse.
Apple will give you an equivalent exchange regardless as long as your warranty is in place. If you so happen to drive to your local Apple store and they so happen not to have a 4 in stock, they'll offer you an alternative or ship you out one next day. They don't tell this to you on the phone because of the abuse I stated earlier.
Making sure a store has stock of an item is abusing the system, a customer who might need a phone immediately wants to see if they have a replacement before they make an effort to travel to a store knowing most are at great distances to some customers
But I understood your first statement

Of course not! The seller has no feedback and probably intended the price to be $350, not $35.
Somebody should purchase one and see if they can get it for 35 dollars

F-it. If it's fake, I'll put a case in with PayPal. If it's legit, my wife just got a new phone (I already have the S3) and we're both happy. I was literally just looking at T-Mobile to upgrade her line when I saw this thread lol.
I read the description several times over, it doesn't have anything sketchy in it.
I'm thinking the guy might have screwed up and meant to put $350 CD, not $35. It's either that, or they're fake.
Wow I just saw this post and I'm like : what if it's a mistake and I have to act quickly ?
What if it's a fake and maybe paypal won't give me my money back ?
And if it's a mistake , this poor guy just lost number of sales * 325$ ... should I make it number of sales +1 ? ^^
Anyway if it's a mistake he'll rather pay you back than send it , so I guess this isn't worth a try for me
Hope I won't regret it , but thanks for sharing

Will do man.
He's sold 90 of the 99 available.
If these are fake and he's running a scam, he'll clear $4000 probably with those 99 units lol.
Can't wait until tomorrow to find out if these clear payment and ship or I get a message saying it was a mistake. If it does ship, it's a waiting game until it gets here to see if it's legit
Or you could just do what I did, commit to buy one and don't pay. Wait for other people to confirm receipt and then pay. He probably won't open an unpaid item case anyway, and if he does, you can just talk to him before actually paying him or stall for more time.
Just bought one. Why not? Paid and all.
If it doesn't pan out, PayPal aggressively sides with the buyer. We will get our money back, guaranteed, if something is fishy.
Fun!

Yeah, it's a sloppy spec cut and paste from the Verizon version. The listing clearly says GSM though. If, by some miracle, it arrives and is Verizon, I'll open a dispute with PayPal or just verify a clean ESN and sell locally for a little dough. Win-win.

Attention to All Buyers:
We have experienced high volume of sales, we are expecting our warehouse to deliver to our location by Friday or early next week. 1-2 Days after delivery buyers will be notified with shipping information for their product. There is also another shipment coming in the following Friday or Monday so for those who do not receive tracking information please be patient as we are following in the order of purchase. Funds will be preserved until shipment is made. Please remember our 10 day handling time listed in the auction, this is just a reminder for all buyers. We kindly thank you for your business and patience. We will stick our our described time for handling and delivery. We are able to give such good prices due to uniquely designed infrastructure that saves in production and transportation, as such your patience is greatly appreciated. If anything changes we will send out updates to all buyers. To ensure your product if you have not made payment please do so.

For those that rolled the dice, make sure you are not more than 45 days from when payment was made as that is the time limit to file a claim with Paypal. With the "additional time" mentioned in the post above for them to receive the phones, plus the 10 days of handling time by them.... I would keep an eye on 45 days from when payment was made.
If you paid by credit card through Paypal you may have additional protection through your CC company.
I'm willing to bet money that this is a scam....

Never buying anything from them ever.
I had placed total 4 orders through them. Only 1 went smoothly. They cancelled my first order. Then they sent phone even after cancellation of order more than 20 days after cancellation and without informing me charged for cancelled order.
2 Other orders were put on back order when website clearly mentioned item in Stock. Took almost 5 hours on phone to even get the single order that I got.
If htc does not change or offers alternate source for direct full price purchase, I am simply not going to buy.
This launch has been a fiasco.
