About Benchmarking Apps
1.Quadrant(v2)
Quadrant is a benchmark for mobile devices, capable of measuring CPU, memory, I/O and 3D graphics performance.

2.Linpack
The LINPACK Benchmarks are a measure of a system’s floating point computing power. they measure how fast a computer
solves a dense N by N system of linear equations Ax = b, which is a common task in engineering. The solution is obtained by
Gaussian elimination with partial pivoting, with 2/3*N3 + 2*N2 floating point operations. The result is reported in
Millions of FLoating-point Operations Per Second (MFLOP/s, sometimes simply called FLOPS).
This test is more a reflection of the state of the Android Dalvik Virtual Machine than of the floating point performance of
the underlying processor.
This is a simple benchmark test to show performance relative to other phones for a standard calculation

3.NenaMark2(fps)
NenaMark2 is an OpenGL|ES 2.0 benchmark for high-end mobile devices.Unlike many other benchmarks, NenaMark measures
performance using realistic scenes that could be taken from a typical game and presents the result in frames per second,
i.e. providing an intuitive performance number that can be used for realistic comparisons between different devices.

4.Vellamo Mobile Web Benchmark
Vellamo is a mobile Web benchmark that evaluates browser performance on Android devices. Vellamo provides a holistic view
into browser performance and stability, including networking, JavaScript, rendering, and user experience

through the "Memory Performance","CPU Integer Performance","CPU Floating point Performance","2D 3D Graphics
Performance","SD card reading/writing speed","Database IO" performance testing

Am not going to add anything new, I just am going to limit to optimize it much.

To my personally I like more the cortex a15, feel that it is most optimized.
Über 6 gave me lag and everything was going somewhat slower.
Anyone tried this beautiful creation....?
I tested this kernel for a few days and at the moment I'm very happy with it

Hi guys, I am using the V2 Amateratsu. Can anyone suggest to me that in my CPU Hotplug section, my CPU Frequency Unplug Limit should set at what value so that I can save my juice? I am a newbie with kernel.
My current setting in CPU section (Kernel Adiutor)
CPU Maximum Frequency: 1497MHZ
CPU Minimum Frequency: 300MHZ
CPU Governor: conservative
Multicore Power Saving: Saving
Sync Threshold: 1190MHZ
Input Boost Frequency: 960MHZ
I aim to maximize my juice as much as possible. I am not a game freak, I just play some candy crush and tap titans.
V2 having extreme lagginess :crying:
V1 was smooth
And also max frequency seems to be always 2265 then whatever u set..
something is wrong with v2 Dev. please look into issue..

I feel the same too, now revert back to V1. And there is a bug I face in V2, the CPU maximum frequency seems keep bouncing back to 2267mah after a reboot.
In htcmania are reporting to me the same thing but I don't notice any lag and the tester gave me the go-ahead to publish it.
I will upload another version with reversed changes and removing MSM Limiter and Powersuspend.

In case some one wants to know more about Lionfish
Summary:
PERFORMANCE: GREAT, BATTERY LIFE: GREAT, COMPATIBILITY: GOOD
Description:
The Lionfish governor combines traits of the conservative, ondemand, and interactive governors. It is designed to maximize battery life without noticeably impacting performance. It responds quickly to heavy loads while staying within the region of optimal CPU performance per watt. With moderate loads, it periodically votes to raise, maintain, or decrease the frequency. When there are enough votes to change the frequency, it is ramped up and down gradually. The voting mechanism reduces frequency jitter compared to ondemand and conservative. squid2's testing had found that this governor uses moderate frequencies (where efficiency is optimal) more effectively than interactive, ondemand, and conservative. This improved frequency distribution results in a moderate reduction in CPU power consumption while maintaining responsiveness comparable to the interactive governor.

No, you don't need to flash the entire ROM. Only flash the backup boot image because the kernel resides inside the boot sector.

About Wolf Kernel
Wolf Kernel is built for Redmi 5. It is developed to unleash the full power of your device. This kernel is developed in a manner to give you a balanced blend between battery life and performance. I added various tweaks i.e. governors, i/o schedulers, hotplug drivers and various other patches and fixes from many great kernels. The kernel will get updates regularly with new features/patches/fixes. I am continuously trying to make it more better day by day. I believe in quality over quantity.
