So i was web surfing and i found an awesome deal. If you have an HTC Inspire, you can trade it into Target Mobile and get a $95 gift card. I used that giftcard towards the new HOX and since the price of the phone at Target is $179.99, i was able to walk out the door only paying $95 for a $200 phone! BTW, you could've sold your HTC Inspire for more than that. The cheapest I see it go for is $160.

It was over before that I believe. I tried that deal on 5/4 on radioshack's site. Family primary line upgrade--no dice...gray or white.
Another member stated that they ended it the day it started. Possibly bc they were overwhelmed and didn't have much in stock?

Yeah radio shack is lame... I preordered on May 3rd and they still haven't shipped it out yet. Actually it isn't just me, everyone who preordered from them didn't receive them yet.

Amazon sell it at $529, no tax.
T-mo sell it at $500 + tax but have no interest installment.

Yep. Though I don't remember how long you have to be with them to get into the loyal customer phase.
Thought I'd toss my recent experience into the mix. Got my G2 yesterday for $380 on Craigslist. Power adapter still sealed.
Very happy with my purchase. Figured if I end up not liking it, I could simply sell it for at least what I paid.
No intention of that though. Love this phone.

Not sure I would say it's a trade up. I played with one a couple of days ago and wasn't very impressed. You should be able to get $100-$150. Sprint sells refurbished Epics for $120.

No contract. Only $60 with employee discount. Same for the EVO, and the Nexus S. Might not be a corporate thing though. All my local Sprint stores are franchise.

In order to take advantage of this, you must go to a Sprint store that is part of the Shentel(Shenandoah Communications) franchise. They are mostly in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Other franchise stores may have the same or similar offer, but I don't know. Corporate stores do not have this offer as far as I know. I also neglected to mention that you must exchange your current Sprint phone (functioning or non-functioning) to get the refurb at discount. They do this primarily for customers that don't have TEP, but they will do it for anyone.

So in other worlds, one have to go through a bunch of **** just to get the $120 price.
I called yesterday my local Sprint store and asked about refurbished phones and their answer was "refur- huh?". I heard her ask someone else and the dude said "we dont have refurbs, only pre-owned" and I was like "that works too". Apparently, when people return their phones withing the 30 day window, they cant sell the phones as new so they cut the price and sell them pre-owned, its just that it depends on people returning, so call the store and ask about them.

OT here, but I was told if I purchased this from Best Buy, which I did, I would be charged the activation fee unless I purchase directly from sprint.com. Thing is, Sprint.com has different phones different prices than Best Buy or Radioshack.
I would wait with the upgrade, IMO. There are going to be so many killer phones come around the holiday season. You can suck it up for a couple more months
The only phone coming out that's worth getting is the Nexus Prime. Hopefully they cover all the carriers with it.

Are you sure the epic had horrid support from Samsung. My girl had one and having all those galaxy s phones did not help unlocking and getting aosp on it. Alot of the talented devs on sprint are here or on the evo 3d, just one thing to make note of

I had one guy in books a million offer 700 but what tripped me out was a dude and dave and busters saw me on it and knew what phone it was right away.....asked if it was for sprint then pulled out some cash out his pocket and was like ill give you 800 for that phone right now we can walk down to sprint and get it activated lol.

For 800$ you could make a profit...even if you bought another one right out, off contract. But I've had some offers...a sprint rep offered my 600$ for it, cuz I walked in to get my number changed, and like that guy, they all KNEW, and they hadn't even seen one.

Friday while I was looking for a case I had a Bestbuy employee snatch it out my hands and go crazy for it. Also had a guy at a cell hone store go crazy for it too. Gotta love the fact that only select people have this phone.
