Does anybody know if there will soon be an htc phone (with sense 4 of course) with a great battery, quad core, and runs on verizon's 4G LTE?

Nexus to Evo?

Hey everyone,
I have a nexus one and my question is should I get an evo 4g?
I have some cloudy issues though:
Is it too big?
I am in Canada so would it work on Rogers?
Is it as fast if not faster than the nexus?
Which is better- stock vs. HTC Sense?
Which has the better specs?
These are my questions, please give some answers
Thanks

Rogers uses sim cards so no, you won't be able to use it.

Honestly, In my opinion the Nexus One is actually the better phone. The size, build quality, the fact that it gets updates faster, the processor is the same as the Evo. Many specs for the Evo and Nexus are the same, and the Evo is great, but I honestly think the Nexus One is the better phone.

Doesn't Rogers have a decent Android line up?
You should wait to see if any of the new Motorola phones will come out for Rogers, unless you prefer HTC over Moto.
Does the Desire HD work on Rogers?

Yeah fine.. I'll stick with my N1...for now. I just want 2.3 or even 3.0 on the phone.
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
I stayed with my N1 and now I an on cm6.1.1
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
I would for sure stay with an n1. Evo is just kinda big and flashy. Wait for the dual cores to come out. Just not a galaxy samsung dual core. I can't stand samsung phones
Gingerbread....................
It's what heros crave!
Evo is too big for Canadians and most others from foreign countries with little hands.
N1 and Evo are too similar to decide a winner. Wait for dual cores.

Force changes (Verizon)

Hey guys, recently my dad has not been happy with at&t and has decided to switch our whole family (4 people) to Verizon.. I love my Atrix but sadly it is a GSM phone and it wont work on Verizon. I will be needing a new phone on Verizon and was wondering which phone(s) would be a good transition to from the Atrix.

Droid X2 coming out next week
Do you know if it'll be any good?

Looked up the specs and only 512mb ram and worse battery life than the Atrix is a deal breaker for me

They don't have a comparable phone yet.

As of right now, nothing on Verizon can match the atrix in terms of ram. If I were you I'd go with the Droid X 2, since hardware wise its a larger atrix with less ram.
What if I convinced my dad to wait until the sgs2 cane out? Do you think that'd be better?

Should I switch to Nexus Z from Desire Z?

So basically I can get an amazing plan with a nexus s. Should I go for it, or staying with the desire z is better?

I've just come from the original HTC Desire to my Nexus S, I'm still locked into a great contract, so bought the phone cash, the Nexus absolutely walks all over my old Desire and the Z isn't that much better. You'll not be disappointed, Ice Cream Sandwich runs beautifully on here as well!

[Q] HTC one x

What are your thoughts?
Is this enough for you to leave T-Mobile for AT&T?
Just posted about the One S which is coming to t-mobile, check the general section for the link...will be dual core with sense 4.0 out of the box...think I will be staying myself, though at&t's version does sound better...
Nothing short of a gun to my head would make me switch to AT&T - A.K.A. the slime of humanity. Even then I'd have to think about it.
You know humanity has gone down the toilet when people are willing to chase a phone to join a carrier that they hate, because leasing (yeah, I said leasing) a phone that is grossly overpowered to perform phone-like tasks, is a life-defining event.
Then again, it already happened numerous times over with the iPhone, so why not with the One X?
I have never been on AT&T, only Sprint and T-mobile. I am not thrilled about Tmo as I think Sprint was better for me in my area. I just think it is a shame that tmo gets the second hand htc one..s.. Then they have the nervous to go and announce it as if it is a game changer
you guys do know that the HTC One X on AT&T is also a dual core processor right?
only the International version of the HTC One X will be Quad Core...

And to add to that, you guys know that the version with quad-core Tegra 3 will most likely be slower and less battery-efficient than the one with dual core Snapdragon S4, judging by the current comparisons...

Pretty much. Either the one x or s. Basically the same (the U.S. versions) but the s has a .4 inch smaller screen and is qhd samoled as opposed to super LCD hd on the x. Imo you can't go wrong with either one.

If im correct I read from a site which all said that T-Mobile will get the Tegra 3 version that AT&T Snapdragon S4. Also a stock version of Ice Cream Sandwich (Plus the Beats & Camera) as well like how they did with LG Optimus 2X which got rid of all 'LGs' things etc.
Now my 'opinion'.
The Snapdragon S4 is a better choice and its a shame its only for AT&T. Reason?
Dual Core Cortex A-15 'More Power efficient' which means less heat plus manufactured on a 'die' of 28nm. This phone should be hard to get hot or even warm.
Im sure many of you had a dual core phone, seriously how hot does that get while playing game? Galaxy S2 for example, or even Galaxy Nexus :\!
Nevermind Quad A9! The Companion Core won't kick in when your gaming...

Verizon anyone?

I have DNA, and am thinking of buying this phone. Can anyone tell me if it can be used on Verizon? I think it can but I can only get 3g, is that right? I switched to Verizon from Att because in my area att 4g is a joke. I averaged like 3mb speeds, while my Verizon 4g averages like 25 to 28. So I'm thinking 3g on Verizon is probably faster than att 4g HERE that is. Would there be any other disadvantages?

nope sorry. N4 is gsm only

You're out of luck buddy. Google didn't make this phone for Verizon and Sprint.
Besides, the droid DNA has very similar or the same specs as the nexus 4. They're almost blood brothers.

Nothing has the Dev support a Nexus does, especially not in the short time these phones have been out. That's why we're here.
